Honestly if I lived near you I would volunteer my time to follow you around picking up after you and composting it just to watch you working your magic.
This makes me feel better. I been watching your videos Peter for a while. I started growing my own maple and finally chopped it today. It was about 5 ft tall. But it's trunk was very thin and it needed to be forced to make lowers. So know it's about 18 inches maybe 2 ft. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
I love how you show both the good and bad of growing trees for bonsai... It's not all rainbows and sunshine. It's WORK! I would love to spend just one day walking through your "growing fields." You give me inspiration and understanding of how to "make bonsai." Thank you, Peter...

Thank you for sharing your artwork, master Peter. It is admirable that you have devoted your life to your passion and choose to pass on the wisdom you have acquired. You spread beauty throughout the world. Thank you

I just got started in bonsai and Im almost 40 years old😂 I wish I had started sooner, that being said, I hope I can live as long and get around as fast as Heron does!👍 keep cutting HERON! Im “rooting” for you!😂👍
I go to local nurseries and occasionally find a large tree I want to bonsai. I've asked the staff for pruners to shorten the trunk so it will fit in my car. You should see the looks on their faces! They've finally got use to me but I still shock new staff from time to time.
About 20 years ago, I lost many 10-20 year old bonsai. I have just resumed. After watching Peter I really wonder: only if we had these videos earlier. Still, I am only 66 years :) Lets see what I do with my cuttings that I hope to develop as bonsai.
Been watching you for years now, this is my first year of having a bonsai and thanks to your vids I am so much better at keeping these plants intact ^^
