+SethFreakin Rollins nerfed means they patched it. For example, the BAR has just been "nerfed" and now it has more recoil and slightly less damage to make it less overpowered. Basically just weakening weapons or perks and etc

I used my preorder permanent unlock token in the M1911. I regretted it at first, as I was killed constantly by the BAR, but as time went on, I got really good with it. I snipe a lot, so I like having a sidearm I can rely on, and the 1911 is that for me. Absolutely necessary.

How bad hit detection is how when you aim down sight in gunfights you literally can't move your aim and die most of the time . Some of the bigger youtubers even deleted some of my comments this game could have been great .
lee thornley my hq is populated my connection is fine and the maps r good in my opinion except for gibraltar (spawns) btw in december carentan will be free. The spawns and the lack of party games r the only things i dislike imo

1: I experienced the same exact thing with the fighter pilot, but I managed to get back my unlock token by immediately shutting off my console right after I realized what I had done. 2: You can perm unlock the ball turret gunner which I believe you unlock at level 52. It's very powerful, and if you're an expert at the game, it's a good choice for you.
I think flanker or what it's called(ghost) is worth mentioning. I like having that on my silenced smg class to have one stealth loadout. I think the top 3 are bar, primed and flanker

I think they either need to have a separate menu to use prestige rewards like in previous cods, or make it WAYYYY more obvious that youre using a perma unlock token instead of just a regular one
They still doing roll out HQ fixes. I'm in Canada. First week nothing. Then half way through last week they made it open again. Not sure when the rest of the world is getting it. But here my HQ is always full.

Bar got nurfed during winter however originally it was almost insta kill to anyone if you had the right equips...now it feels balanced....slightly weaker than "balanced"

Great advice about using your permanent unlock token immediately. I almost made the same mistake as you. Only my paranoia about not wasting it saved me. My first was used on the FG42 and my second on the BAR. I had planned my next to be Primed but I will now wait to see the impact of the planned change to flinch. I agree that the new format of having divisions with functions limited to them and also functions in the Basic Training items, are together making us need to think differently and carefully about how we use our permanent unlock tokens. Harry I think you are missing the fact that you can use a regular unlock token to unlock any of the divisions as soon as you hit level 2. Use a permanent token on high level stuff like flanker, which you can only use a regular token on at level 54. Its a complete waste to use a permanent unlock on low level things.
I used to be that tryhard that was the highest prestige in most lobbies if not all but now I'm not even past 2nd prestige 😂, idk man I just don't enjoy the game but i still watch your videos ace, keep it up they're amazing.

Also they did just increase flinch on primed with an update, but the next update will apparently reduce flinch on all weapons in game. That's why they increased the prime flinch first, or it would have been so OP when the second update came out they would have looked incompetant. So primed is probably the number one thing to prestige in my opinion
Gah damn, when going for gold on snipers and you have to get 50 kills with a division other than mountain equipped, shit's annoying as fuck, you don't know how good sniping with mountain is until you run without it

I am a casual playerand finally entered my first prestige. And instantly made a dumb move. I perm unlocked the BAR. Not that doing this in and of itself was a stupid idea. It's not. It is a great weapon, but I completely forgot I had alrady unlocked the heroic version of my FG42... by not perma-unlocking that I lost my 10% soldier exp bonus!!! On the flip side, I finally prestiged my airborne division and am excited to level up the MP40.... I do like that these divisdion prestige unlocks are permanent, even if you prestive your soldier level. Additionally, any attachments you have on these weapons remain regardless of soldier prestige. Wghich raises a question. Aside from being able to display your clan tag or a body count on your weapon, is there any real advantage to presitging a weapon?
The main advantage to ranking up your weapons is the bonus soldier xp you get from unlocking all the attachments again, each time you rank up a weapon it helps your main rank.

As others already stated, you do get extra XP as you unlock attachments. As far as putting a "clan tag or kill counter" (which is the way it's worded at the gunsmith) on your weapon, I feel that is misleading. I was under the impression that I would be able to do one or the other; however, after the first weapon prestige, you can only put a clan tag. You have to prestige it a second time to get the kill counter. In my opinion, it seems a little pointless to prestige your weapons.
Emergency air drop is the best "kill streak" in the game. Trust me, use an unlock token on it. Pro tip for those who struggle to earn higher streaks. Use the perk requisitions, equip emergency air drop. Play Kill confirmed and collect tags like a mad man. I promise you will get it at least 80% of the time even if you go negative with your KD. Ball turret gunner, paratroopers..it's all at your beckon call with this setup.
the bouncing betty (s-mine) is a great to have if you play a lot of SnD because they don't disappear once you die meaning you can still possibly get a kill if someone doesn't see it. and hardly anyone uses the flanker basic training so betties are very good for random kills.
Who in there right mind would use anything other then Mountain in TDM? Do you guys not know it hides you off the radar? Invaluable perk that outshines any other division...i prestiged the other ones once and havent touched them since
Using instinct seems more useful then being invisible to detection. I'm pretty fine with being detected. Half the people who hide are hiding behind walls you can shoot through anyway. lol. I personally prefer to take out people fast and don't mind getting rushed by groups. Especially since people running in groups seem the easiest to take out anyway. Instinct just allows you to realize that someones aiming on you even if they're out of sight. This is more valuable to me especially from someone who may not be detected aiming at me. This often allows me to straight out counter them. Seems places like Flak Tower for some reason are favorable to people to just sit and focus on people and camp their base. Was using bipod for the challenge in USS Texas stage and a Canadian decided to stay behind me while focusing down the people in front of me. Knowing he was aiming at me from behind I kneeled down turned and took him out. This is why I think that Instinct is an extremely powerful perk overall.
I've done Basic Trainings for two of my three permanent unlocks...and my latest one was a lower level item: Lookout. Trying to do War mode without Lookout on my Mountain Division, even for a little bit, just killed me. As for unlocking the Springfield, I'd never even consider that. The Kar98 and the Springfield are practically the same, so if you really need that killer rifle, you can use that from lower levels, and Sniper Rifles in general are super fast to level and prestige, especially in War mode.
You know how you get a free permanent unlock token at the start when you log in.... i wasted it on the Machine pistol and I've used it like 2 and it's level 2. It ain't good in hardcore 😅😅
Thanks for Video! Just started WW 2, and like most Cod Players I miss Blackops 2! You're right, it's a game that offers new features, but lacks the Mastery power for actual Play. I'd definitely add the Machine Pistol to the list. It's the easiest secondary to use, and it's my unlocked until 33, which still takes a little while to reach.
Connor 22 If you need a class for it, rapid fire, extended mag, high calibur (if its got it), and grip. Use the stock sight because its the best. This class wrecks 😉
Lookout is a great basic training. It helps you see enemy name from far away and it makes your mini map larger, for me it’s a must have on almost any AR since primed got nerfed.
I used my unlock token on lookout even though it's unlocked early, around level 20 I think. As a HC player it's by far my favourite basic training. Think my next one will be machine pistol. Every class uses a pistol, so why not have the best one?
Take flanker with u... not the sniper. So many recon aircrafts are overused and flanker (when not using mountain) is giving u the best advantage: element of suprise
I knew right away 3 of the 5 you were going to say. (FG, Primed, BAR) The other two was a toss up and probably ones you could live without right lol. One basic training I use a lot is Ordinance. When playing TDM and my team is just not good or im against a party and they have their stuff together I usually switch my class that has Ordinance on it so I can get scorestreaks faster and give my team a better fighting chance.
I made the same mistake. My mouse accidentally clicked prestige token instead of rank unlock token and I ended up permanently unlocking the throwing knives. Not necessarily a huge waste, but I would've rather spent it on something else. I would recommend spending your prestige token on the flamethrower scorestreak. Definitely a kickass and fun one to use. :D
You did the same thing I did with my free prestige token I got for preorder. All the people I know got the BAR or something and I used it on the Bren Gun thinking I was using a regular unlock token and not a prestige token. I was mad. The BAR has always been my favorite weapon of WWII especially after using my grandfathers that he brought back from the war and it pissed my off having to wait till 52 to unlock it. I rarely prestige anyway if at all and when I do I’ll usually only go thru the 1st prestige and never again because it’s stupid and a waste of time, but if I do I’ll definitely get the BAR and the Thompson.

I used preorder token on the bar and my next token is going on the flanker basic training. Flanker is one of the last unlocks in the game and it would be nice to have 1 stealthy class without being forced to run mountain. Flanker coupled w either airbourne or infantry would be a nice change of pace class
Don't forget flanker... basic training skill unlocked at level 54. Hidden from recon planes when moving. I permalocked that and it is PERFECT for SMG users who love airborne. Always moving and always hidden with the silencer. I have it on all my SMG classes.
As a sniper, the first thing I unlocked was the mine. These have always been super useful so you don't have to worry about people coming up and stabbing you in the back. I also unlocked the Kar98k Fallen II which I can use with diamond camo. The M1903 is too unbalanced for my liking and not worth unlocking in my opinion. So better to prestige the Mountain division and get the better gun.
The better question is : is it worth it to prestige ? And what kind of rewards you have when you prestige ? To be honest with you if there isn't a Cool rewards rather then extra class slot I will not prestige at all, why I keep going through the same process over n over just for extra slot ? For me I have an SMG class , AR class , a sniper class (just in case I play war ) and most of the times when I got my a** kicked with shotguns I use some of the default classes

excellent commentary. Thought through very well. May want to update the BAR. It was nerfed today lol. Also they did just increase flinch on primed with an update, but the next update will apparently reduce flinch on all weapons in game. That's why they increased the prime flinch first, or it would have been so OP when the second update came out they would have looked incompetant. So primed is probably the number one thing to prestige in my opinion

Gah damn, when going for gold on snipers and you have to get 50 kills with a division other than mountain equipped, shit's annoying as fuck, you don't know how good sniping with mountain is until you run without it

I am a casual playerand finally entered my first prestige. And instantly made a dumb move. I perm unlocked the BAR. Not that doing this in and of itself was a stupid idea. It's not. It is a great weapon, but I completely forgot I had alrady unlocked the heroic version of my FG42... by not perma-unlocking that I lost my 10% soldier exp bonus!!!
On the flip side, I finally prestiged my airborne division and am excited to level up the MP40.... I do like that these divisdion prestige unlocks are permanent, even if you prestive your soldier level. Additionally, any attachments you have on these weapons remain regardless of soldier prestige.
Wghich raises a question. Aside from being able to display your clan tag or a body count on your weapon, is there any real advantage to presitging a weapon?

The main advantage to ranking up your weapons is the bonus soldier xp you get from unlocking all the attachments again, each time you rank up a weapon it helps your main rank.
Does it? This is the first I've heard of that. Are there slight xp bonuses for attachment unlocks/weapon levels? Even if so, is it worth it?

As others already stated, you do get extra XP as you unlock attachments. As far as putting a "clan tag or kill counter" (which is the way it's worded at the gunsmith) on your weapon, I feel that is misleading. I was under the impression that I would be able to do one or the other; however, after the first weapon prestige, you can only put a clan tag. You have to prestige it a second time to get the kill counter. In my opinion, it seems a little pointless to prestige your weapons.

Emergency air drop is the best "kill streak" in the game.
Trust me, use an unlock token on it.
Pro tip for those who struggle to earn higher streaks.
Use the perk requisitions, equip emergency air drop. Play Kill confirmed and collect tags like a mad man.
I promise you will get it at least 80% of the time even if you go negative with your KD.
Ball turret gunner, paratroopers..it's all at your beckon call with this setup.

the bouncing betty (s-mine) is a great to have if you play a lot of SnD because they don't disappear once you die meaning you can still possibly get a kill if someone doesn't see it. and hardly anyone uses the flanker basic training so betties are very good for random kills.
Who in there right mind would use anything other then Mountain in TDM? Do you guys not know it hides you off the radar? Invaluable perk that outshines any other division...i prestiged the other ones once and havent touched them since

Using instinct seems more useful then being invisible to detection. I'm pretty fine with being detected. Half the people who hide are hiding behind walls you can shoot through anyway. lol. I personally prefer to take out people fast and don't mind getting rushed by groups. Especially since people running in groups seem the easiest to take out anyway. Instinct just allows you to realize that someones aiming on you even if they're out of sight. This is more valuable to me especially from someone who may not be detected aiming at me. This often allows me to straight out counter them. Seems places like Flak Tower for some reason are favorable to people to just sit and focus on people and camp their base. Was using bipod for the challenge in USS Texas stage and a Canadian decided to stay behind me while focusing down the people in front of me. Knowing he was aiming at me from behind I kneeled down turned and took him out. This is why I think that Instinct is an extremely powerful perk overall.
Having a suppressed SMG with counter recon does the same, except you don’t even appear on radar when firing. Then you can sprint faster and longer.
Graveyard Gaming you can sprint faster with those Sasquatch feet in my astros 😂😂😂 I just unlocked the mp40 and now it’s mountain for life.
I've done Basic Trainings for two of my three permanent unlocks...and my latest one was a lower level item: Lookout. Trying to do War mode without Lookout on my Mountain Division, even for a little bit, just killed me.
As for unlocking the Springfield, I'd never even consider that. The Kar98 and the Springfield are practically the same, so if you really need that killer rifle, you can use that from lower levels, and Sniper Rifles in general are super fast to level and prestige, especially in War mode.

Lookout is a great basic training. It helps you see enemy name from far away and it makes your mini map larger, for me it’s a must have on almost any AR since primed got nerfed.
I used my unlock token on lookout even though it's unlocked early, around level 20 I think. As a HC player it's by far my favourite basic training. Think my next one will be machine pistol. Every class uses a pistol, so why not have the best one?

I knew right away 3 of the 5 you were going to say. (FG, Primed, BAR) The other two was a toss up and probably ones you could live without right lol. One basic training I use a lot is Ordinance. When playing TDM and my team is just not good or im against a party and they have their stuff together I usually switch my class that has Ordinance on it so I can get scorestreaks faster and give my team a better fighting chance.
I made the same mistake. My mouse accidentally clicked prestige token instead of rank unlock token and I ended up permanently unlocking the throwing knives. Not necessarily a huge waste, but I would've rather spent it on something else. I would recommend spending your prestige token on the flamethrower scorestreak. Definitely a kickass and fun one to use. :D
You did the same thing I did with my free prestige token I got for preorder. All the people I know got the BAR or something and I used it on the Bren Gun thinking I was using a regular unlock token and not a prestige token. I was mad. The BAR has always been my favorite weapon of WWII especially after using my grandfathers that he brought back from the war and it pissed my off having to wait till 52 to unlock it. I rarely prestige anyway if at all and when I do I’ll usually only go thru the 1st prestige and never again because it’s stupid and a waste of time, but if I do I’ll definitely get the BAR and the Thompson.

This list included everything I've permanently unlocked so far. I definitely share your opinion on the limited nature of WWII's items, however, I've run into the exact same issue in previous titles.

I used preorder token on the bar and my next token is going on the flanker basic training. Flanker is one of the last unlocks in the game and it would be nice to have 1 stealthy class without being forced to run mountain. Flanker coupled w either airbourne or infantry would be a nice change of pace class

I always use permanent unlock tokens on the items that require the highest ranks. This saves me a lot of time working for them.
Don't forget flanker... basic training skill unlocked at level 54. Hidden from recon planes when moving. I permalocked that and it is PERFECT for SMG users who love airborne. Always moving and always hidden with the silencer. I have it on all my SMG classes.

As a sniper, the first thing I unlocked was the mine. These have always been super useful so you don't have to worry about people coming up and stabbing you in the back. I also unlocked the Kar98k Fallen II which I can use with diamond camo. The M1903 is too unbalanced for my liking and not worth unlocking in my opinion. So better to prestige the Mountain division and get the better gun.

Flanker is a lvl 53 unlock . Used my 2nd unlock token on it.
The better question is : is it worth it to prestige ? And what kind of rewards you have when you prestige ?
To be honest with you if there isn't a Cool rewards rather then extra class slot I will not prestige at all, why I keep going through the same process over n over just for extra slot ? For me I have an SMG class , AR class , a sniper class (just in case I play war ) and most of the times when I got my a** kicked with shotguns I use some of the default classes
