grant chelm I just sniped the whole match when I played it last night and if you can keep getting those kills, you're fine. Only thing is not every body likes sniping so the M1, Carbine and the SVT are good too
I love your aim drill methods bro. It's surprising how many people do not take advantage of the (Custom) game mode. It's so useful with learning maps, different game modes and especially hardpoint rotations, and not to mention depending on what map/game mode you choose, a little spawn knowledge as well. I'm really looking forward to your (Maps Exposed) series and maybe you could bring back your (Spawn Guide) series too? Great content as usual ACE!
I just watched all your videos thank you for being clear and concise and avoiding slang, laughing, swearing, excessive self promotion and mostly super loud annoying music intros. I saw a lot of good advice to try with simple to the point instructions.
I find that setting the bot difficulty higher helps me improve my reaction time and stops me being lazy when practicing using cover etc And also practicing hitting ppl taking cover from me on head glitches etc
thanks for this, this is my first CoD in years and while I play a lot of other pvp games the thing I have noticed here is everyone else seems faster to 'draw' than me. even with quick draw, this has helped a lot
Ace, all joking aside, THANK YOU for this tutorial. I set it all up last night and gave it a try, adjusting my settings down a step when I felt I couldn't control my aim. When I got it to a place where I was constantly getting 15 kill streaks, I entered a public match with the same weapon/setup. For the most part my aim was spot on. It was the first time in a while I have felt like I could actually stick my aim on a target. Of course there was the odd one where they'd strafe left and right and I failed to predict their movement or when a target ran past me and I failed to lower my sight to turn on them, but that's 100% me. For mostly everything else I stuck on and was getting postiive KDs again. Even managed to get a puncture kill through a stone wall on a moving target in Gibraltar with the STG. I guess set this simulation up on maps you know you're going to run certain weapons on as well (shotguns on point du hoc, snipers on Gustav for example) would be helpful too. Thank you for helping me find my "best" sensitivity and reclaim my sanity during a match. If I wasn't already subbed, you've have a new lifelong fan. Peace!
I appreciate you brother Ace. You recently went over a video going into depth about the STG and I believe you did not use any reflex attachment. I tried that myself and it helped drastically. And your aiming video I will try later today. Your video helped improve my KD from .92 to .96 in about an hour. And my killstreaks average to about 7-8 kills before a death. You’re the man. I’m busting my Navy brothers everyday now. 👌🏾👌🏾
Just a heads up about the aim assist thing. Generally you do NOT want to do that when it comes to muscle memory. Using your sports drill analogy, this would be like kicking angled kicks in soccer drills, and then in a real game adding an extra 3 pounds to the ball. When it comes to muscle memory, you want it to emulate exactly what the normal situations of what you are practicing are.
I play a lot of BO3 and I already do this but I never thought of changing the health. I don’t do these aim drills all the time when I play because I’m trying to change my ways. Stump plays on a low sens and I get why. I think it’s good. I got off a video a second ago and it said “there accuracy points not cool points” and I so believe that. My friends act like I’m dumb for trying 5/5,6/6,7/7 and so on. I use to play on 14/14 but I noticed how dumb it was after a while. I was always mad when I lost gunfights. I just couldn’t aim! I’m taking steps to improve that.
Thanks for this video and advice I didn't even realise i had the option to do this so Ive followed your settings and had a few goes already. I can see how the constant repeated aiming should improve skill levels and its something a definitely need!!! Thanks again
PS, I’d also love to see a video where you’re playing a multiplayer match, but with a description of what you’re doing, and whyyy you’re doing it during the game!!
If you practice without Target assist then yes this will TECHNICALLY fix your problem. It will NOT stop your target assist turning off randomly but if you are proficient enough without it, you will be far less affected by it if you even notice. (which you probably will but again if your a proficient marksman without Target assist it shouldn't affect you.
Trent Arnett yeah I agree.. who makes this game sledgehammer?? I’m sorry for ignorance but yeah there games feel less aim assist.. same with infinite warfare.. then if you go back to bo3 it feels stronger.. this was a debate for a long time.. it was stated to be proven the same but I never felt like it was.. and also bo4 aim assist feels pretty good so far.. but yeah aim assist in ww2 isn’t as good..
Thx Ace... this is ridiculously helpful. Before i had almost everytime negative or slightly positive kdr in tdm. All the sudden i made it 30 to 10. Awesome drill. Really
One thing I do that many people don’t think of is often intentionally going for shots at extreme ranges, even with SMGs. This makes me more confident when shoot enemies at long range, to the point that I can kill people on the side of the freaking map.
That guy ace good job long time supporter here and youre my go to for issues, breakdown, guides etc. hope you the best this year on the channel and ww2 man
Ahhh another year, another COD, and another aiming drill. Can't wait till you put out your best weapon in hardcore video. That one is a video I have watched multiple times every year.
Great tutorial video! As simple as it is, it's easy to overlook good training techniques like this and I appreciate you putting in the time to show it!!!
And the view kick flinch, I️ believe needs to get time down. Only because I️ find myself depending on primed. I️ really don’t want to have that as a must have. Any thoughts?
Hey Ace, have you been getting a daily login bonus? I haven't gotten one since the day after launch and I've played everyday. Was it outright removed or is it bugged for me?
This might be a late comment but I get login bonuses all the time but I think it runs on when u log in each time in a 24 hour period. Example if u log in 3 pm one day then 4 pm next day u won't get the bonus at least that's what I noticed.
I found that just simply quick scoping bots also helps me improve my accuracy, snapshot, centering, etc. I was having trouble in this game and I realized that the centering is in a different spot so my accuracy wasn't that great till I practiced it in a bot lobby. I know it sounds weird, but I feel like MWR, IW, and WW2 all have different centering spots. Or perhaps it's just simply an illusion due to how the gun is placed on your point of view.
I tried this out...it helped a bit, I'm not super good at CoD games anyways, but my first match after trying this, I went 17 and 4, which I know isn't great, but when you put it next to what it's usually like, for me, 16 and 11, it's difficult to say that it hadn't helped.
Hi Ace, can you do this kind of drill for sniping, and how to keep your aim on targets while they move quickly across the opposite side of the map? That would be so cool
Jason Alen free for all bots, same setting use the big snow map. To improve your sniper shot just don’t drag scope lol use the aim assist and line up oh and don’t use that 3d shit sniper
It the m1903. First learn to hard scope good that's where everyone starts then hard scope faster and faster. Cuz quick scoping is nothing but a fast hard scope. Use the advice he gave in this vid. Adjust your speed to your accuracy.
Quick scoping / No scoping is reflex and aim. Use a lower controller setting at first and play against bots. Use the Kar and mountain with rapid fire. If the person is far away make sure to push the right analog stick in while you scope in. If the target is at medium range or up close don't hold the breath in and try to snap to the target. When you use mountain and hold your breath aim assist will kick in, this isn't ideal for those ranges. The longer you practice the better you will get. As you get better you can increase your controller speed. When you are quick scoping you want to fire as many shots you can, even if you miss the target may back off or change there position where your follow up shot may hit. My controller setting currently is at 5.
@@KidDestiny you mean compensation? That's how I earn easy headshots, like waiting for an enemy moving sideways to close in a few centimeters from your scope
I used to not buy the control freak hype and thought it was stupid and bull crap But I got some for Christmas and I have already bumped my K/D up from 1.26 to 1.63 so I’m not bad at the game but not great and my accuracy has jumped tremendously at longer ranges so I can definitely recommend them 👍🏼
I do like this idea, i saw it in I think ghosts you did one like this (possibly aw I can't remember) and yeah Iv done it ever since. But over time it's changed and I do it slightly different because it made sense to me once my aim was better, so I don't like the extra health part , I get that it helps you make your aim stay on the target longer because you have to shoot them more , but it also makes you be able to get shot more so I found that it can also have a negative effect of making you think or teaching your brain to instinctively think you have more health than you do sometimes, like say someone shoots you and you duck behind cover, because of doing this drill people may think ok I can rechallenge now when really they only have 1 or 2 shots of health left they just think they have more because they've trained themselves to think they have enough health to re challenge by playing private match with extra health all the time so they never learn the correct health and when it's time to get away or time to re challenge. Also I would use the gun that I use all the time in multiplayer with the attachments I use because I'm trying to make my aim and controlling the recoil pattern better with that specific gun , I don't want to use a gun thats easy and consistent then go and use something else and feel like it's different and I'm all over the place. The way I usually do it is normal health with around 11 to 13 bots, I put the bots on hardened or veteran and set a timer of 20 minutes, then my aim is to consistently kill a certain amount per clip like you said to train my aim to stay on target, but now I have to worry about getting shot back and reloading so It trains me to know when to duck out to cover and play it safe and when I can re challenge at the same time, the timer is so I can set myself an on going challenge so If i set it at 20 minutes I'd set it to that every time I do this drill and the aim would be to Improve my kd every time , then I'm improving my aim but also teaching myself/my brain to know how to play and keep myself alive longer and go on longer streaks etc. The part where I put the bots on hardened or veteran is something I added once I felt my aim was good, so I wanted to challenge myself and improve overall, but since I did that back ages ago Iv kept it that way ever since in every game, I find it forces me to improve my aim quickly so I'm getting the kill not being killed , rather than giving me easy targets that don't shoot back because ya know you don't want to go online thinking yeah my aims awesome no one will kill me or even hit me then get messed up because online players can actually shoot back as good as you can shoot them half the time. So to anyone watching I'd suggest doing what the video says and once you feel your aim is good maybe start to challenge yourself with stuff like iv out here just to get bettter as a player overall. I just find when youv got your aim there you then need to teach yourself how to actually play the game well and stay alive and in the game etc.I play a lot of competitive and doing the drill that way teaches me to stay alive and useful to my team rather than playing stupid dying a lot and being useless to my team.
I'm new here but if there's one thing I know, it's that Ace has the ability to introduce himself as "What's up guys? My name is Ace" in one single syllable.
Man! Yor're a genius! many thanks here from Brazil regarding you effort to hell all COD lovers. Very good work. Honor in COD and peace in live. Please Keep pushing ahead.
Love everything about this aiming drill, srsly need it for the hitboxes in this game! Just one question: Why use the STG instead of a semi-auto weapon? The M1 & M1A1 have higher-end dmg profiles, and it truly makes you muster a lot of effort to make your shot count.
Another Aim Drill. Gustav Cannon. FFA. Health200%fastregen. Hardened Bots. Aim Assist Slowdown Off. Effective Training at high sensitivity but also good at low sens to make sure snaps + crosshair placement is close to target so you aren't relying on aim assist to fix your initial bullets. Favourite loadouts with extended mags. Ignore bots murdering you and win as much gun fights whilst playing the same way like normal multiplayer
Hi, Ace, Thanks so much for all the drills that you have put together, they are really helpful, I was wondering if you had any tips for a long range style of play. Sniper Style or exercises that would help with this. Cheers Sudo
This is a great drill but disagree with one minor thing. Use any gun you would us in a multiplayer match in this custom game mode. Why practice with a weapon you may never even use. You can't have a rhythm with a weapon you'll actually never use if that is the case.
Ace guess who ordered some kontrolfreeks with your promo code a couple of days ago. Still waiting for the delivery. I don't know why but I suck at wwll.. I have been a comp player for 4 years now and I am usually pretty good at pubs aswell. I got all gold gun camos in every cod since mw3 and I always have a consistent kdr of 1.5-2 across all cods but in wwll I just can't get consistently good games and I keep lingering around a 1.1-1.2 kd with 20h played and I don't know why. My gunskill did not get worse but I'm just horrible at predicting map flow and anticipating enemies in this game even with a good surround sound headset. Dry for my bad english
I came here from TMarTn. he gave your video and channel a shout out. I watch your videos too ace, but I just haven't seen this one and he happened to point it out for how to win more gunfight in wwii. you should give him,a shout out too when you can.
Thanks for the video! If I haven't unlocked the stg yet what else can I use? And I'm looking forward to your sensitivity video. What number do you run?
Absolutely awesome awesome video! I love to play this game or shooter in general - but to be honest - I suck at playing shooters - also maybe because I'm a sports gamer at all... I get kills in COD but not very many - and streaks and strikes are almost impossible to get since I'm dying most of the time after killing two opponents. Did this drill after your video and I than I had to realize my horrible aiming... Thanks a lot for this video! I'm absolutely curious about your upcoming video about sensitivity since I'm also struggling to find the right sensitivity for me... For now I test with 5/5 - 6 / 6 and most of the 7 / 7.... But I'm not sure if this is the "right" setting for me if I'm struggling to shot accurately... Keep your awesome work up! I'm subscribing to your chanel, mate.
The stg has idle sway which can put u off aiming, plus u can't keep up this pace every game cah after a couple games, the game litreally will turn the tables round and make the other team win by force... Sometimes shots are not even read at enimies or the time to kill starts becoming to long... One min it's quick, next couple games I have to put a whole clip in them for them just to die
I've been playing cod for quite a while and can't tell if I have bad habit or my thumbs suck. I think I aim slightly off to the left when try to center a shot before a ads costing me the first couple of bullets from latency and low reaction time. This might not be as much a habit though because my left eyesight is much worse than my right. Basically I want to fix my snapping without reverting to bad habits when my anxiety is going while in mid game. I've tried using bots for aiming practice and I seem fine during but suck when go into a game. I used your guide for bo3 and I had this problem. Any tips? Btw I love the stg. I have no idea why they would try to buff it. I think that thing feels plenty powerful enough with the ttk being copmetetive and having a huge mag with hardly any recoil.
Exactly the same problem I have - but my biggest problem: I suck at aiming at all... If I use a higher sensitivity at least I have the "feeling" I can correct faster If I miss in the first place or can make movements to "trap" the opponent while shooting at me...
Remember back in black ops 2 you made a video where the player had to get a certain amount of kills in 1 magazine I was wondering will that still work on cod ww2?
Gustav cannon is the worst map I can't stand playing on it everyone camping in spawn or on top of the cannon sniping
grant chelm I just sniped the whole match when I played it last night and if you can keep getting those kills, you're fine. Only thing is not every body likes sniping so the M1, Carbine and the SVT are good too
Most of the maps are terrible, too close and spawns are awful look at DOM on USS Texas the B Flag is right next to a spawn
To be fair through it if the only map you could possibly use a rifle on and even then its barley far range
grant chelm tell me about it , but the M1 Garand excels in the map. Try a class with it sometime on gustav
I thought Gustav Cannon sucked until it was finally ME who got to the top.
I have only done the drill once and it already notice improvement in my accuracy. Thanks!
This helped so much omg. Ever since I’ve been practicing with your method I’ve been getting games 29 kills 6 deaths. Much appreciated
Doesnt matter how good my aim is i still cant carry the shitters on my team every match.
TRUE
This frustrates me more than anything.
ilikezpk For sure man
I hope u enjoy the hundreds of upcoming games you play and carry them all the time
Yeah I can feel that. Hella people suck
Lovin these vids for ww2, really has become my favorite COD of this era and your in depth numbers for the weapons helped me out a lot!!
This dudes videos are hands down the most helpful on UA-cam when it comes to COD
I just watched all your videos thank you for being clear and concise and avoiding slang, laughing, swearing, excessive self promotion and mostly super loud annoying music intros. I saw a lot of good advice to try with simple to the point instructions.
*GOD HAS ENTERED THE SERVER*
indeed I have
chizzy q
chizzy I saw you on so many channels
chizzy I

I find that setting the bot difficulty higher helps me improve my reaction time and stops me being lazy when practicing using cover etc And also practicing hitting ppl taking cover from me on head glitches etc

So I just found out about your channel and I must say you just made my evening! Good luck to you sir!
Thos video has single handedly changed how i use the aim on COD WWII...thanx sooooo much brutha!!!
I took your advice and practically doubled my K/D in my first session! Thank you, I've been stedly improving doing this.
The first video I ever watched of yours, was the black ops 3 aim drill video, helped so much! Been watching you ever since! Keep up the awesome work!
Yess, I started using your drills during Ghosts they really helped enhance my game glad to see these back Ace!!
can we take a moment to realize that this man saved his promo till the end of the video
Just a heads up about the aim assist thing. Generally you do NOT want to do that when it comes to muscle memory. Are you going to make the video thats about how to have better map awareness or better k/d or whatever exactly it was that you did for BO3
Dang Ace went beast mode in that opening clip.
That guy ace good job long time supporter here and youre my go to for issues, breakdown, guides etc. hope you the best this year on the channel and ww2 man
bro this video literally helped me win so many morw gunfights, and this shit works. you are awesome and I trust everyhing you say.
Ahhh another year, another COD, and another aiming drill. Can't wait till you put out your best weapon in hardcore video. That one is a video I have watched multiple times every year.
Good job as usual, I know the previous drills helped a lot in the other COD Games. Looking forward to sensitivity vid.
I can say from experiance that they are amazing. My top 3 are vortex, cqb signature, and the call of duty ww2 pair.
YES. I've been waiting for this vid. Worked so well for me in BO3.
Great tutorial video! As simple as it is, it's easy to overlook good training techniques like this and I appreciate you putting in the time to show it!!!
Ace is smashing this out
And the view kick flinch, I️ believe needs to get time down. Only because I️ find myself depending on primed. I️ really don’t want to have that as a must have. Any thoughts?
Hey Ace, have you been getting a daily login bonus? I haven't gotten one since the day after launch and I've played everyday. Was it outright removed or is it bugged for me?
its bugged dont worry
I haven't received even one yet and I've been playing since launch 😕 hopefully its fixed soon
This might be a late comment but I get login bonuses all the time but I think it runs on when u log in each time in a 24 hour period. Example if u log in 3 pm one day then 4 pm next day u won't get the bonus at least that's what I noticed.

I tried this out...it helped a bit, I'm not super good at CoD games anyways, but my first match after trying this, I went 17 and 4, which I know isn't great, but when you put it next to what it's usually like, for me, 16 and 11, it's difficult to say that it hadn't helped.
Just bought some kontrol freeks wwii thumbsticks and grips! Thanks for the discount!
Thanks Destiny, but which one is the 3D sniper?
It the m1903. First learn to hard scope good that's where everyone starts then hard scope faster and faster. Cuz quick scoping is nothing but a fast hard scope. Use the advice he gave in this vid. Adjust your speed to your accuracy.

You, sir, just got a new sub, keep it up!!
I wonder do you have any idea how well this works. I mean this helped my gameplay out so freaking much something this simple. Thx new sub for sure
Gunfights feel so weird in this game
Y your profile picture moving lol

You have like the best content m8, really
You put a ton of effort into your videos. Subbed and liked.
Always good to see you do this video bro first time I saw it was blops 3
I'm new here but if there's one thing I know, it's that Ace has the ability to introduce himself as "What's up guys? My name is Ace" in one single syllable.
Dude you rock. I enjoy all your very informative videos
Finally a good video that in need because im fkg good late in the day but i wanna be good the hole day thank you so much 👍💪
Shout out from the U.K :) brilliant tips thank you
Thanks this definitely has helped my aim I’m use this before every game
love these series
Keep up the great work! Love the videos. I like that you can save the match.
I allways get so dissapointed when i expect to hear beastmode and then some dubstep in the outro but all I get is some ww2 music
Andreas Donaldinho I know how you feel
The sound of brass horns will never not be classy.
who was that in the old videos closing music? I noticed that too.. bring back the other music! lol. great vid.
Video of the year
What should I do because these stupid bots run behind cover as soon as u look at them which forces u to get pissed off
Another Aim Drill.
Hey man love the video and when I buy new control freaks I will make sure to use your code bc this video help out so much thank you man
Hi, Ace, Thanks so much for all the drills that you have put together, they are really helpful, I was wondering if you had any tips for a long range style of play. Sniper Style or exercises that would help with this.
Cheers
Sudo
At the beginning I was like "Holy shit he is going off" Then you said custom match and I'm like ohhhh that makes sense.
This is a great drill but disagree with one minor thing. Use any gun you would us in a multiplayer match in this custom game mode. Why practice with a weapon you may never even use. You can't have a rhythm with a weapon you'll actually never use if that is the case.
Great vid. as always I always do this before a real game and it helps a lot. Thanks, Old Man Tech
I saw this video like... its a video like aaaallll the others. But the I try this at it works!! WHY HAVENT YOU TELL ME THIS BEFORE!!!
Why don’t you purchase the bounties for the rare supply drops ? Or are you saving for a collection ?
As my high school band intructor used to say, "Practice makes permanent"
If you practice something wrong you will learn it wrong.
Hey thanks so much for making this video my aim has gotten way way better and my KDR went to .30 to 1.50
You just earned yourself a new sub
Thanks for the vid man. I definitely need some practice. had a 2.30 in IW - rocking a 1.22 now, lol.
Same
Bleak5170 get off of the jump button boi.
I came here from TMarTn. he gave your video and channel a shout out. I watch your videos too ace, but I just haven't seen this one and he happened to point it out for how to win more gunfight in wwii. you should give him,a shout out too when you can.
Why is this so hard I can't stay on target and I keep getting mad at it
Thanks for the video! If I haven't unlocked the stg yet what else can I use? And I'm looking forward to your sensitivity video. What number do you run?
I thought you said quickdraw wasnt that useful?
on SMGs
Which video shows this?
Been doing this since I saw your vid about it in ghosts 4 years have went by fast
your doing a great job Ace 👍🏻
I'd try 4/4 or 5/5
I've been waiting for this. Thanks :)
He deserves 3 million subs
The stg has idle sway which can put u off aiming, plus u can't keep up this pace every game cah after a couple games, the game litreally will turn the tables round and make the other team win by force... Sometimes shots are not even read at enimies or the time to kill starts becoming to long... One min it's quick, next couple games I have to put a whole clip in them for them just to die
Do a video on how to be dominant using light machine guns in an game mode
You should be at 1 mil subscribers by now
This helped out tremendously, thank you sir.
Very nice video. What is your sensitivity? I use 4/4 and find it nice for aiming, but I turn 180 to slow :-/
LJJenseN - Gaming and More I use 9/9.
I use 8/8
Exactly the same problem I have - but my biggest problem: I suck at aiming at all... If I use a higher sensitivity at least I have the "feeling" I can correct faster If I miss in the first place or can make movements to "trap" the opponent while shooting at me...
10/10 maybe 9/9 if I am playing slower game modes
LJJenseN - Gaming and More I use 4/4 but last week my aim was really good but now I can’t lock on to people at all
Anyway to replicate a player lagging on a 2 bar causing “aim resist”
Also, are you gonna do the breakdown and live lessons w ace?
Remember back in black ops 2 you made a video where the player had to get a certain amount of kills in 1 magazine I was wondering will that still work on cod ww2?
Fantastic video!!! Thanks for doing it Man!
