The styling was controversial upon launch in late 2017. Has time given the car new life? And will the new F type that was revealed steal some of the Vantage's thunder?
At first I loved the styling and vouched for it. Then I hated it. But now with the new Vaned Grille option that’s now available I like it again. I have the same love/hate relationship with the DBX.
Gotta love an extremely rigid rear end, am I right? 😉 Sometimes that's just not the vibe indeed. Very sexy car! Pink feather boas are a hard look to pull off after all!
Good review and for a change no Mazda comments on the front look, which I attribute to the aggressive Vulcan look. There is indeed no glovebox because they put the engine as far back as possible for the balance ...
I think this might be the best part about the AMG collaboration with the powertrain. But these cars are definitely for folks who can comfortably afford to own. I'm not among them at this stage in my life haha
Tedward you'll get there! I'm currently finishing up my first degree and hopefully starting my masters soon after. One day I'll be able to afford one of these beauties
Sometimes I wonder if certain parts of the car will age better than others. Right now I really love the rear end. I know the front has polarized its audience, but the new Jag F-type has a very similar look. That may carry this design for a long long time
@@TedwardDrives exactly: your M3 will resonate for the ages being a v8 with character...I too like the stance and rear of this...yes it’s an f type look, but looks way meaner and less soccer momish sanitized
Dude I like this car I’m only 27. So sporty fast and dude that interior. I was thinking about the old vantage due to stick shift I love the styling for 2019 model
Define younger crowd? With price tag of around 165.000 Euro in Europe (Tax and Maintenance excluded) I feel like this is more of a 40 year old car, minimum, on average.
I think DBX is going to attract a lot of new people to the brand...maybe "normal" (obviously wealthy) people will buy a DBX for the family and shortly thereafter want a fun car to match. Dad drives DB11 after Mom falls in love with her DBX haha. Who knows how it will play out, but I predict DBX won't be an uncommon sight on public roads.

The Vaned Grille makes it look like a proper Aston Martin.
I drove this on track earlier this year, honestly it's incredible. So light and nimble round corners, insanely fast on the straights.
V8 beauty. Love the squat muscular design, looks like a big cat 🔥
“Sinister Business Suit”. You encapsulated it perfectly. The new 2020 vaned grille returns it to form.

Still looks as amazing as the first Aston I saw in Die Another Day. Better looking driver this time around though
I absolutely love the styling on the new Vantage. I think I'd be afraid to own one out of warranty though

Thanks for the optimism! I’ll keep hustling
Sick vid one of the best you tubers I've seen. Keep it up👍😊👌🚗
Cool review of a COOL car!
Nice..but really while it works for a fresher, younger look, I wonder if it’s got lasting appeal?

Armani Nguon interior they need to change but I love Aston Martins
Have you or do you plan to drive an Aston Martin Vantage from the 1980s or 1990s?
Yes. Here is a 1985 Vantage I drove for Winding Road Magazine ua-cam.com/video/kcOwhMhM0RQ/v-deo.html
No one:
This car: IM BATMAN!!!
What’s the name of those rims?? Love them, super classy!

Lovely video :)
Look serious A pillars, not sure that makes turning a little more difficult.
Lots of visibility actually. That’s the big sell to me over the AMG gt which is basically blind
Tedward Thanks, good to know, placing a GT on the road looks difficult.
0:52 you afraid about Aston DBX

Nice Mercedes but I'd get the real McCoy instead in the GT-R
I don’t know what the real McCoy means
Love Aston's. They are gorgeous cars. This one though...you could just save $80k by getting a C63S and have something equally as fun.
exodus3252 with the same look and feeling as this Vantage? I doubt it. A sportscar is more than its engine...
Sinister indeed. Also, not pleb. So far from pleb 😉
I need to bring back pleb garage
