Thanks Indigo! I love making these videos but sometimes life gets in the way. I have more nearly finished just need to go out and get more on site video.
We moved here from Texas where seniors' property taxes were slashed drastically when you turn 65. Our appraised value on our house has more than doubled since we been here - I was hoping this would be my life's last move
Columbus may currently have a leading high growth rate but it does not have the largest population gains in the nation. Google search showed Columbus metro with 950,000 residents in 1990 and 1,727,000 residents in 2024. Dallas Fort Worth had a much larger increase in population from 3,8 in 1990 to 8.4 million during this same time period. Austin metro had 465,290 in 1990 and 2,274,000 in 2024.
Thanks for the video born and raised here in Columbus Ohio. Can you contact me I got some question on trying to find my dream home I’m a first time home buyer.
As you said, Columbus lags behind the national average in job creation. Also, it lags behind the many other comparable cities in public transit. So, will the COTA have a light rail or subway. Cleveland has one. Cincinnati is working on it. Neither are great but they exist or are up and coming!
I’m not sure just exactly where you’re getting information from. All my research shows, over and over from many sources, that Columbus is most definitely not the fastest growing city in the US. In fact, Charlotte just bumped Columbus down from 14th to 15th in population.
Our Roadways Need To Catch up to the population of People..Also The Roads are Terrible..I Have Love For Columbus..I'm a Native..City Shuts Down Early...College Town...GO BUCKS!!!
Hey, I'm also a native these last 65 years, but I feel the need to disagree with your assessment of the roads here in Columbus. Yes there are potholes, etc, but, exc😢for rush hour, you can still get from the center city area to any part of the outerbelt in 15 minutes. Which if you've lived almost anywhere else is unusual. Lol, peace 💚
Literally normal for any Midwest city to have potholes downtown tbh. Salt+freezing temps =doodoo roads. But the highways in OH are better than any other Midwestern state in my experience. 2nd id say Illinois but only where it’s a toll road, seems they don’t care about non taxed roads there much.
ANDY!!! It has been a while! I am so glad that you are posting again. I am in the US an planning to visit CBUS! I hope to cross paths.

We need to rename the Wexner center tbh. Before some stuff come out about the guy
Most of the growth in Columbus is north of I 70. I live on the far south side and believe me, we’re seeing no growth down here.
population's tend to sprawl outwards over time

Nah Austin, Texas has been the fastest growing city for about 10 years... rapidly
Actually Jacksonville, Fort Worth are growing faster than Austin I say this as a Columbus and Houston resident. Austin has slowed.

And that the Indianapolis region added 45,000 more people to its city and suburbs over the past few years..🤔🧐🤔🏢🏗️📸

Traffic is still pretty good imo, but we need to stay ahead of it!
Completely agree! When you travel through other cities you really realize that we have it made here with getting around (if you have a car)
A video promoting Columbus with a background showing the ugliest possible scene of the city. And you're a realtor?
Yep. Thanks for taking the time to make a snarky comment. Boob
