Extreme Terrain Rocks
I purchased the 20850 JK/JL updated front bumper for my 2021 Jeep Wrangler unlimited Willys. On this install you have to remove the front frame rail end caps when installing both the Barricade front skid plate and the Front bumper. At least that’s what I have found to be the case.
Just a bit harder than he suggests here. Very hard to line up the brackets t attach to the frame rails.
I bought this for a 2020 JT with OEM fogs. Ad says they should fit. The ones installed here look just like the ones I have, but the bracket looks NOTHING like what we see here. This is some sort of circular adaptor or bracket. Mine came with a single riser for the inner bolts. Even then, both inner and outer brackets were about an inch short of reaching the fog light tabs. I’ve called four times now trying to get the right brackets. What is the deal with the JK vs JL/JT brackets on the bumper?!?!
I bought this trail force barricade bumper (or that is what I thought ...) for my Jl 2022 ... but the hardware is different from what is shown in the video !! Barricade sent me what was likely a JK bumper old stock with some adapter plates that have a bolt and a nut (instead of being like the bumper in the video that comes with 4 bolts on each side ) to be attached to the front bumper brackets... it is quite difficult to align it alone .... also it comes with two useless fog light brackets and which is a real pain in the neck the wrong screws to attach the fog light to the bumper . I had to buy self tapping screws, drill holes in the bumper to properly attach the fog lights. Last but not least : OEM bumper properly has 9-10 places to secure fog light harness ....Barricade ? None! ...and not even areas where you can tie strap it to some brackets/ small hooks (that would have costed a dollar to add ..) . I am curious to see how long this powder coat (that seems quite cheap with low thickness since I scratched it on an off road and bare metal is visible...) Not happy at all with this product as a whole .

Man i wish i read this a week ago before I ordered. I'm having all the issues you mentioned and I felt like shit yesterday for not being able to install this. Fighting with those stupid attachment brackets is a nightmare!
Magazine they sent out said won’t fit factory led. Says fit oe tough so need to get it together

So i get im a newbie but this was frustrating. No mention of the fog light brackets that the paper instructions tell you to install. Ended up I should not have because I cant get my fog lights to sit in the holes properly. They aren't flush at all with the included metal bracket installed. Tiny screws are stripped so I'm a bit f*cked there. Those included attachment pieces are a wicked pain in the ass to fit in unless I'm missing something.... and splitting the bumper apart to get the wiring harness? yeah that didn't happen. got a dremel to cut around the recovery hooks and ended up working the harness out from the clips and pulling it out of the bumper. It wasn't just a little finagle. Not a very complete set of instructions.
Bumper looks good, but took me 4 hours to get it half installed. Will resume in day light.
Did you say a winch up to 1200 lbs? Thats like an ATV winch?

Is there a kit for the license plate?

My fogs on my 2020 have 3 bolts, not four. I sent my first bumper back because the packaging said JK and my fogs wouldnt fit, but as I watch the video, it looks just like the bumper I sent back and i am concerned the new one I ordered will not match up to my fog lamps either...
