Thank you for this video. It helped me out with my new fog lights so much. I couldn't find any video to help with them until this one. I already had a new tyger bumper on and realized it was just a few more bolts and nuts to remove to get easier access to the wiring harness. Amazing video keep up the great content.
I bought a jl maybe a week or so before he uploaded his jl videos and its been a great help to get ideas for when i modify mine. Hope to hear you get your jeep and enjoy it cheers 💪🏻🍺
@@BrosFOURRSpeed thank you i really enjoy your content, i want to do a lift and maybe 37’s since its my daily. Lookin forward to your JL content, cheers from Puerto Rico 🍺🔥
Nice looking bumper, I had that same brand for some rock rails on my Tacoma, but I had this issue and others did with Tyger is that the wield seems will sometimes rust, so you can just sand it down and use some Rustoleum. So just keep I eye out on the wield seems and hopefully you won’t run into any issues.
Got the mopar kit put on and my 35s. Now I'm buying bumpers. I went with MotoBilt for the rear and probably evo or oem rubicon steel bumper for the front.
Wish I saw this a bit earlier. Others didn’t show air dam. I left mine on but just undid the side with the harness connector to get my fat hand in. Removing the wiring is a pain. Others all said to remove clips at the bottom of the bolt but I couldn’t move them. Pry and pull seems good. Great look
It's not too bad of an install! Just a little time consuming so if you just take time with it, it should be pretty smooth! Taking the stock fog lights out was a bit of a pain to separate the bumper enough, so have a second hand around if you can!!
If my new bumper had more extra lamp on each side of the bumper what wire colors of the store wire should I connect to ? I cannot recognize the right one
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I want to install my new bumper and put on the stock fog lamp and wire like what u did, but on my new bumper it come with lamp on each side of the bumper and they have 2 black and red wire, so I want to connect it together but I don’t know what wire color should I connect to because I saw jeep wire had 4 wire
@@pyfaart7607 there’s not plug to easily reconnect? I’d have to see a picture, I did this video so long ago, it was just reconnecting with the connectors so not sure the wiring you have.
Very helpful video! I just bought a new 2dr JL and this will def help me with the replacement, as well as having the correct socket sizes to start with!
I recently swapped my jeep gladiator oem front bumper for an aftermarket one and now i have ESC code on my dash, does this sometimes throw out the alignment as a result...i need help
Ha...love the dog trying to help out!. My TJ has a 4" lift and 35s. I think the jl unlimited would look very good with a 2" lift and 35s. Keeping the jeep with a minimal lift definitely has its benefits and still they have plenty of clearance. I'll see if I can find a older pic on my IG and tag you on what I am talking about.
I actually haven't! I forgot to weigh the stock bumper, but the stock rear bumper was about 20 pounds, so subtract that and not really adding a significant amount to affect that much!
I think it'll look much better once the lift and tires are on!! I still have the Tacoma! Kind of running out of ideas with it, do you have any suggestions? I do have something coming for it hopefully soon!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Reason I said that was it looks like cutting off the wings of a bird, it doesn't look proportion and not aggressive enough, but I do love to watch most of your Tacoma mods. I have a 2006 Tacoma Trd Sport with just 48K+miles on it and I just had it wrapped in matte army green, looking forward to see what the jeep will look like when you get the wheels and tires..

Oh gotcha. Yeah this was pretty easy to install overall. Cool look for sure!
GEEZ those clips were the hardest part to remove!!! Great video!!!!
It was definitely a process but worth it!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed Yes it is - the stock bumper is a big ole plastic POS - so yes VERY worth it!! Thx again!!!

I love your new jl bumper, it’s really nice!! I love y’all shoes, I really love red Tennis shoes 👟!

Does the bumper extension on the bottom side that held the air damn have to stay on or can it be removed also?
Did you put on the underneath guard cover?
I don't think so!

Thanks 👍
I have more goodies on the way! A bunch of mods!
Are you selling the old bumper???

can i buy that original bumper from you ?

When do you put the skid plate back on, before you put the new bumper on or after?
