I don't want a grown man that is not on my level, because that's when money problems come in. I refuse to be the one bringing in 70% to the table and he is only bringing in 30% of the financial income. Money is to be the source of problems in a relationship and a leading predictor of divorce. I will continue to keep my standards to a level that Im content with.
lmfao i can’t deal with these entitled young nurses tbh. I’m an RN who makes decent money but nurses nowadays compete on who has higher wages, status, fashion, lifestyle etc. Tired of it
A woman is supposed to care for herself. When you’re a couple you compromise and supposed to contribute equally to the relationship. “Modern women” are not traditional but they want traditional desires but want to be contemporary independent!
I’m a nurse I date myself because I love my freedom to do what I want, when I want. Women should stop looking for men, let the universe send you the right energy
@@TheHighValueNurseCJKyles I’m in my 50’s and very practical if he don’t have it together by now it ain’t happening so move on quick. I at a place where potential is off the table.
Good video! And I agree! I’m noticing a lot of nurses are the main ones supporting their family. It seems in a lot of situations the man makes a lot less money. I’m old fashioned in that I don’t believe in dating a man that makes less.
Hey CJ, you stated men have to 'create their value from the ground up' versus a woman having value innately because man will 'sleep with her' ('even if she's 400 pounds w/ 7 children')...that logic is insane. A woman's value (and I'm speaking as a Black woman) is not correlated to who she can get to 'sleep with her'. And if you think Black women don't have to build and prove value ('from the ground up') especially in the the workplace you're mistaken. For those Black women, that choose to 'climb the ladder' in whatever field, the amount of cosplay and stifling of their 'true selves' to make 'others' feel comfortable with their existence is an everyday thing. Black men AND Black women have struggles...due to the different 'isms' and systemic matters of the world, it's not a situation of 'who has it worse' or has to grind harder to simply validate their existence in this world. And as it pertains to standards in dating, the sole focus on aesthetic attraction, s*x, and how much money someone else has gets both men and women in dysfuntional relationships or keeps them from obtaining a healthy one. Of course you should be attracted to who you're with and the person should have LEGAL means of financial stability to take care of THEIR bills/expenses, but leading with how a person can benefit you and solely focusing on external traits will have you in an awful situation....that's been proven time and time again.
I agree with what you're saying in terms of the corporate world but I'm speaking solely about dating . When it comes to being an attractive spouse for the opposite sex men normally have to work very hard to be able to financially take care of a family and himself because that is usually what is expected of him . Normally when a man who holds it down look for a woman he doesn't focus on how much money she makes
Woman ARE giving men a chance…why you think they bitter and hurt? Ranting and raving online about how “men this & men that” . Dating has became superficial now. It’s crazy. Men think woman are gold diggers (from what I hear on theses lives) yet if she comes with her own money, she too independent. You are damned if you and damned if you don’t.
I’m old. 25 yrs plus in healthcare. 20 year olds don’t know anything. It’s not cap. You’ve lived but not experienced life. Let the babies live😂. They will learn. On another note: EVERYONE should be compensated for their skills. But the world isn’t like that for Black People. So young ppl have to understand that.
Man can try to do the same thing but most of that is just talk because if they don't have the resources it means absolutely nothing for the most part. If women don't have the resources men don't care at least the ones that are handling stuff
Cj we gotta stop making excuses for men, black men to be exact. The excuses ypu used describe the black men under 40 in my family and many from my hometown. They were coddled growing up and the women were raised to be go getters and independent. Therefore they dont want to work and/or they want to find a woman who is stable, that they can move in with.
This wasn't about black men and women but since you took it there, 59% of black people are in the middle and upper middle class. The average black man is in the middle class and interesting fact about that is that most of those black men are married...this is according to black demographics and census. So nobody's making excuses . Sometimes you just have to be more practical and you're dating decisions
@EARTHSOUL_Asm Based it off black men in America period but ok. And by the way, I love Cj's content. I had an opinion so I stated it. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean I'm wrong.
@TheHighValueNurseCJKyles I assumed you were talking about BM and BW because you were describing how women gain stability, status, accomplishment more quicker than men. I wasnt trying to argue. Let's call a spade a spade. We men need to start becoming this entitled and raise our standards 😭

Sorry cj. A man has to be able take care of himself.
He absolutely should. I don't look for any woman to take care of a man

That has nothing to do with old fashioned. That’s you practicing hypergamy. Men made more back then cause women were stay at home wife’s.

Sure she has a chance but she also has to be practical as well and also pay attention to her competition
@TheHighValueNurseCJKyles CJ. Black women have always been taught to play the dating game not to lose instead of Dating to win . There is a difference
