Joe Patti is a cool place. I've had gator nuggets twice and liked it a lot. It's kinda like frog legs, taste like cross between chicken and fish. If you like chicken and fish then you'll like fried gator. Right in the sweet spot. Nice video Booger.

We get Gator tail in the local restaurants and I buy it at Geiger Meats (a butcher shop) which is about 30 or 40 minutes from us. We've done gator wing and gator tail videos on the grill.

Same brand of gator meat I bought today, a smaller package for $17.99. I live in Illinois so, I pay the extra price. They got a ton of good eats at that store. Think I need to move down South.

Booger, Joe Patti's in Pensacola possesses a plethora of palate-pleasing products! I've had alligator once, and you described the taste perfectly, it's like the dark meat of chicken. I've coated fish with various mustards, and the heat changes the character of it in my opinion, so that it's better. You and your DeLonghi did a fantastic job!
