Hi, everything works as you said I only have one problem. There is a buzzing noise in the rear speakers when audio starts playing when it’s muted, you can’t hear it. It sounds even louder when I have my external amp connected I don’t know if they’re supposed to be like that, but for some reason you can’t hear audio unless you have the blue wire from the Metra harness connected to the remote turn on wire from the harness of the radio once that’s connected, you can hear the audio I have all three blue wires, including the turn on wire for the amp connected together
so as nice as it all seems. it dosent seem to work with the climacontrol. that screen is dead? so how would you know what temp and fan speed you are on??

@@georgedominguez4918 you can try using Axxess ASWC-1. Connections are simple, Pin#5 of your vehicle harness to GND Black cable of ASWC-1 to GND Red cable of ASWC-1 to 12V Gray/Red wire of ASWC-1 to Pin#16 This will only retain volume up/down buttons + Mode button + skip buttons on your steering wheel. If your car has call answering buttons, they will not work. Hopefully, it helps with your issue.

I’ve got a 2012 Honda accord EXL coupe it’s got a Dx30 radio in it with Apple play, whoever had it before me installed it I just got the car a few days ago I noticed it’s got the sub and navigation as well, I notice when I flip the head lights offf it has a buzzing noise in all of the speakers, and when I flip the switch to my head lights being on it goes away also the speakers are so quiet even with the stereo turned up what could my issue be it’s really strange?
Hi: I have a 2010 Accord LX and the backlighting for the stereo controls do not work. I have checked my fuses and pulled the stereo, took it apart and checked the circuit cards and did not find anything wrong. I took apart the radio and visually checked all the capacitors and resistors and wiring and did not see anything. Have you run into something like this? Would you know where to check elsewhere? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, John
My backlighting wasn’t working either and I check everything as well and it turns out to be the little light bulks in them, just ordered a replacement for them
@@droneon6419 I think I'm going to get a CarPodGo unit just so I can get Carplay in it for now. It just seems not worth the trouble with the 13-15 CTs w/duel screen dashes. Can't even find a proper dash trim with out salvaging trim from a older CT. The older models separated the AC trim and the radio (like in the video) but ours just have one big piece. So, If you do want a after market install I think you need to: 1. Salvage trim from an older CT so you have the separate trim pieces 2. Get the metra dash kid for the bottom half 3. Get t splitter wires so you can try to salvage functionality of the upper screen. I hope that makes sense. Again, too much trouble.
I believe those all buttons are for media controls. You can control the media like FM, Phone connectivity, Bluetooth, etc, with the new touchscreen head unit which will have touch buttons replacing those physical buttons. The rest of the buttons are for air-con which will remain same on the new fascia kit.
Backup camera wiring is on the connector that connects to factory display on the top middle part of the dashboard. Disconnect the connector from display and leave it disconnected l, if you plan to use factory camera with your headunit. Camera works on 8VDC, here are the pins that require power connections, 27(Red) = 0 V, 26 (green) = 8V, 11 (Gray) = 0V. For Camera video signal a RCA connector has to be soldered to following , 13 (white) = + ve video signal 12 (black) = -ve video signal. Verify video signal on a cheap display, as wrong wiring can damage your headunit. This is how I got mine working. Your’s might be bit different to mine. I had factory nav + factory reverse camera.
@@ProvoBeastAudio Ya I have Honda Crosstour 2011 exl with nav I take very good care of my first car 100 thousand miles I put nice dual 12” kicker sub in with its own amp And installed Bluetooth wired into the 3.5 port so I can hook my phone right in works great but love to pay have someone put sonthing moden in like air play but can’t have everything change the look

Its a ground loop / interference noise. I'd recommend cleaning up your ground. @@anthonystark4135

Yes, got my factory backup camera working on Sony headunit. You need to do soldering to get it going
