There was a guy in Canada who created a men's shelter for those abused in relationships. The government, population, and many others ridiculed him and threatened him to the point it had to be shut down. He later committed suicide over the fact and listed the way he was treated by others. He was just trying to help.
In the UK they talked about this in Parliament, but in while some agreed with the idea of creating a safe-space for men in abusive relationships. Many people brought up how this kind of thing didn't exist, and we should start taking women seriously before we "pretend" men have these problems.

makes me think of how so many say a man can't be r*ped. uh...yea they can and do. i hate the 'we need to fight for equality' then exclude men (but will often include men who claim to be women whether legit transgender or not which is a whole other issue).
There's still definitely an old workman's culture in the UK. Most people in their 50s+ still have that "You can't cry, Don't complain, just get back to work" mentality which has bled into the younger generations somewhat. Whilst that mentality created generations of strong workers, it also killed the passion and soul of many of those men, resulting in many men who cannot deal with their emotions and bottle them up until they explode. Ironically we then ended up with a generation in complete opposition, overly emotional and unable to function in normal society. There's defintely a good balance to be found and many people have found it, but society itself isn't the best at supporting this.

Also, she isn't a survivor of r***, she was s**ually harassed but not r'd, and speaking as someone who WAS r'd, I think it's pretty scummy for anyone to laugh at a shelter for abused people of either sex, like she did.

It's dangerous to women, as well. The quickest way for men to stop seeing women as human is for women to treat men as less than human, accuse them of the same, then justify doing so as noble with a smirk. That's infuriating on 3 different levels. Same with the race angle. It's creating the problem to justify complaining about it, without realizing how dangerous that is based on the original justification - majority status or power imbalance. No guilt in doing something justified done against me, especially when I'm already being punished for it. It's leveraging the same good will for protection that's said not to exist in the first place, thus the justification.
They definitely dont have fathers, or at least not fathers manly enough to tell them "no" when they were little girls, so now they take it out on all men.

Women didn't magically decide to become extremely aggressive, somebody else painted a target on men's backs and only then women bought into it. The prime reason was always poverty that led to broken household and thus children with broken psyche. Those responsible for poverty are behind the increase in percentage of unhinged people in general as well.

Gay man here, and I go through the same thing. It's the LGBT+ Communities in my games that have the most red flags in their safe-space discords. Constant speech-policing and kicking anyone who doesn't dogpile those they don't agree with. It's led to a lot of hopping around groups trying to find one that will just be "normal", if that's possible.

Nevermind gaming, there will be tons of stories of women complaining why their husband spend time in their man caves or doing any of his hobbies instead of doing stuff with her. Its sad these days. There was a Mens health center where I live that focused on mens mental health and had regular groups meetings for various things. A bunch of womens rights people took them to court and forced them to close. Mens suicides jumped 40% over the next 5 years.
BTW we have 4 Womens health centers in the area and not a word about them.

I didn't play Witcher 3 but from what I have seen it is good, and Cyberpunk 2077 is one of my favorite games of the decade so far. But seeing CDPR put itself in such a bad situation is making me not want to buy any future game from them. Sucks too cause I was looking forward to the sequel to Cyberpunk.

Imagine if a guy tried putting women down just to boost his ego. You wouldn't tolerate this behavior in men, but with this woman here it's never called out. Also therapy isn't important as having a friend group who cares about your best interests. It's supposed to be up to your friends to have your best interests and look out for you. If her acquaintances are tolerating this behavior then that means she has no real friends. Real friends find her insufferable or are just as insufferable as her.
People rarely challenge their friends these days. I used to be a part of a group that started in high-school. Fast forward to our mid 20s, and I was looking to make some changes in my life and character. When I would ask my friends what sort of faults and flaws I had that they thought could be improved, they would respond with a tepid, "no man, hey you're a really cool guy. Don't be hard on yourself, dude," even though I told them it wasn't depression but a desire to improve. Eventually I got sick of it and left the group.

I raised 6 million pounds for a local homeless/mental health/substance abuse service & I tried to rent out a room at a local place that had womens support groups & other various support groups but when I tried to hire the room once a week they wouldnt accept our money because it would be seen as problematic & this was atleast 10 years ago irs worse now.
I went to the doctors about 5 years ago asking firbmental health help & got told because I wasnt part of an "At Risk" or "Minority Group" that I wasnt currently a priority,the only demographic that doesnt fit the "At Risk" or "Minority" catagory are straigh white men.
The homeless servuce we have in my town also bases the needs of the homeless on the same basis still aswelll.
I have so many stories I could tell you about discrimination in the UK's Privatised Public healthcare system.

The gym is my safe space as a straight man. I've left gyms where people (not specifically just women) kept filming themselves to the point where it was disrupting the flow of workouts for many people. Left and joined a hardcore, hole in the wall gym with some of the best friends I've ever made in my life. And It's not all dudes in that gym too. The gals at that gym are really cool and go there to train. They're also diverse in interests (gamers, cosplayers, farmers, truck drivers etc). No disrespect, no catcalling, no filming, no cancellations. just a bunch of people training. It is a traditionally "male space" that is inclusive to women without any issue.
TL;DR - find a local hardcore/hole in the wall gym. make friends. be in the best shape of your life with great people with no BS and drama.
