Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei national language is Malay. Malay actually is not very hard to learn, just hard in pronunciation

Great effort! Malay is not difficult when you understand the structure. Example:
Fry banana - Goreng pisang (action)
Fried banana - Pisang goreng (noun)
Rizal is the only one that pronounced “Masalah” correctly. The word is pronounced as “Ma-sa-a-lah”
Repeated use of the word “awak” (you) in one conversation can sound rude. “Kamu” is more polite.
“Jalan ke hati awak” will sound better this way “Jalan ke hati mu” (mu is short for kamu)
I am also just started to learn Malay as I finally got interested in it to learn. I Love Malay words.

Di sekolah2 singapura ga ada pelajaran bahasa melayu kah?
Delvi Aulia ada tapi ia hanya wajib untuk orang yang berbangsa melayu. Orang berbangsa lain belajar bahasa asli mereka sendiri (native languge/mother tongue). Misalnya, yang ‘chinese’ belajar bahasa mandarin dan ‘indian’ pula belajar bahasa tamil. Hanya bahasa inggeris diwajibkan untuk dibelajari di sekolah oleh semua kaum tidak mengira bangsa.
Disebabkan ini, ramai tidak tahu Bahasa Melayu adalah bahasa nasional singapura kerana rakyatnya sendiri (selain melayu) tidak tahu berbicara dalam bahasa melayu.

I think, i don't need to learn Melayu alot. My main language is Bahasa Indonesia. It is not really different with Melayu. But, i learned some melayu words from watching Upin Ipin and Boboiboy. Those are famous films in Indonesia. Most of Indonesia people know that.
