Lance, I have a suggestion. When doing speed build mode, could you record from a second angle? Have a second player or something, maybe there's mod to help? Speed builds can be challenging to see when its super fast, and it would definitely set you apart from other builders. When I see full videos that are speed builds I just can't watch it because its so disorienting. I'd love to see it!
Id love to do that, but I'm playing in a single player world I don't think i can put my alternative account onto there, id have to play on a server and do it that way, The only time i've done it wasnt for a tutorial it was for the monestary build on my survival series 😬😬, if you know find a way I can do it do let me know
I just watch it at a slower speed that helps me quite a bit

The lamps run on thatch/wood too btw, and most importantly, electricty! So you don’t have to keep filling them individually

@@LolsAtLance West Texas has allot of rocky terrain with cedar trees but as you get towards New Mexico it is desert similar to scorched earth but central and east Texas is made up of pine forest.

The build itself looks great! I'm less than crazy about the absolutely tedious method of applying the skins. I can't imagine doing this on something like a castle for example..

Looks good but how did you do the "SALOON" sign above the upstairs balcony outside? Not finding this in any of the pieces. Keep up the great work!
Hey, if you have access to the drawing paper you can place this at the top and paint your sign yourself. The easier better looking way would be to fit the billboard at the top and just type in "Saloon". Place the frontier structure skin over the billboard as well XD, hope this makes sense and helps! @@LolsAtLance Oh, cool. Yeah the DLC provides the paper I believe so I've been playing with that. Have you found any software that works for the paper yet? I've tried a couple but they only work with the things that were out before the paper, mainly due to the fact that the paper is resizable.

2. A therizinosaur is a big tickle chicken; what you have there is a marsupial lion, aka thylacoleo.

I assume you aren't aware the structure skin is reusable. You do not need a ton of them, you only need the one.

Awesome glad it has XD, the outside lights are part of the new bob's tall tales expansion, you just go to "frontier lamp" (i think that's what it's called, if you search for 'lamp' in your engrams it should come up. Then scroll through the options once you've crafted it and you will find the larger outside lamp :) Hope that makes sense

it really is a fine build at first...
But i found some Issue in this building. The sloped walls (in your case the slopes railings on the side of the roofs doesn't make the building fully closed and protected from weather changes... i guess you will always have problems to survive if you aint full enclosed...
Darn, didn't realise this, the easiest solution is on the second floor, below the sloped roofs, add a ceiling, so you have a ceiling above the 2nd floor you'll still have the sloped roofs above that, just makes it so it keeps you fully protected without sacrificing the look of the build
You should add an outhouse
An outhouse would be perfect! A little toilet house would be fun 😆😆
Can i Build this in only Wood ? And then use the new method? Ore is it a must to Build with „Lehm“
You can absolutely build this with wood XD, and if you don't have access to the structures skin, wood is a great substitute anyway! 😁
Skinned Adobe copes with the heatwaves better is all
Wildcard should make structures easier to make just to make the front part took me 3 hours

I have a question though : does it work with Scorched Earth only or does it requires the Bob's Tall Tales too?
So to add the skin ontop of this you need the Bob Tall Tales pack BUT, You'd easily get a very similar result just using the wood structures 😆, then for the tables use the standard tables, for the couches use a bench with canvas around the bench (see castle video and skip to the tour), for plant pots use the small crop pots. Then you have yourself the same base! 😁

So I noticed you mentioning that we can do this with wood. In the old Ark you could double wall put Adobe on the inside wood on the outside do you know if we can still do this in the new ark? And if so how I haven't figured it out
@@Nobuddyspecial1 Hey you most likely can, I believe you'd need to add the "Stone fence foundations" or the "wood fence foundations" first, across your foundations where you're going to build up with your walls. You should then get multiple snap points. I hope that makes sense? I would imagine it still works, but i havent tried this myself yet 😬
love build it looks great but you know 4 quarter walls equal one whole wall, coulda saved alot of time usaing regualr walls
Glad u like the build 😁.. There is a reason I did that, it's so that at the end I could paint the quarter walls green next to the windows so that they look like window shutters, if I had done them as a full wall, I wouldn't have been able to get this effect. I should have said this in the video to be clearer 😅

So it's not a mod it's part of the brand new Bob's Tall Tales paid DLC add on :) it's all part of the new Scorched Earth stuff 🤠, you can find it on steam. I believe once you buy it you wont have to buy it again for all the future DLC stuff

Hey so if you use either the billboard with the frontier structure skin on, thats the best solution. Find a way to place it up the top, by using a beam going across some walls you can place the billboard up there, the other solution is the new drawing paper, however you will have to paint the sign on yourself XD

At 21:55 when you placed the spiral stair, for me it will say that it is obstruced and can't place it. How do i fix that?

@@lennartvg7628 hmmm, it might have to be spiral staircase and ramp :( OR, remove the foundation underneath the stairs first to see if it will then go in and place either a ceiling or a foundation back over the hole? see if that works
