BART has said, or shall I say, given excuse after excuse as to why the new cars aren't in service yet. I was SO LOOKING FORWARD TO RIDING the new cars when they're placed into service, but with all the delays, I'm not sure I'd be comfortable riding them when they DO go into service!
do you want another Transbay Tube fire situation? If you don't, then let the government agency make sure their trains are tested properly. Without all the testing, these things could be death traps.
This reminds me of all the major problems that AC Transit had with their brand new fleet of Van Hool buses after they paid for them about 10 years ago. Lol
The cars look slick appearance-wise. But with the "glitches" I've seem and heard of so far, the new BART cars are starting to sound a lot like the R44 and R46 cars bought for the TA/New York Transit back in the 70s and early 80s.
There needs to be anti-bacterial soap dispensers throught each car and station.
Collin's Tiki Zone ........sadly you are going to have to bring your own
no40 Why am I not shocked...
The 510 Zone: "throught"??? Perhaps you mean, 'through out"?
It'll be year 3500 before BART develops maglevs.

Looks like these cars have about half the seats of the old cars. Great having to stand for 48 minutes to and from work.
Good luck.
That's way too many holding straps that will eventually fray and become broken, smh
