It seems likely that Claire was turned/claimed back in Season 4 when she was in the cabin with the Monster disguised as Christian. She was acting weird even then. The Temple folks were probably testing her for corruption after they caught her much later.

With Claire, it seems like it could have begun when she decided to wander off into the jungle with the Monster/Christian and leave her baby behind. Sayid being resurrected in the (darkened) spring perhaps sped the process up, while Claire had 3 years alone with her "friend" the Monster to reach that point. I've always assumed that some people were more... susceptible to the infection than others.

To me, it's like the monster heals them but they get infected as a result. He had to wait Sayid die so the magic that protect the candidates would vanish maybe.

They were under attack a bomb hit the building she was in ...Claire seemed dead then woke up and Miles kept looking at her , we thought because he thought "she was hot blonde chick " but he also prob noticed her brain was not going anymore

I always thought the Lighthouse and Jacob's cave made a nice pair of opposites. The Lighthouse - a beacon constructed high on a hill. And the Cave - carved out of a cliff, buried and hidden. It only occurred to me recently that that symbolism might possibly have been a constant throughout the series. Could be a stretch but maybe the radio tower and the Swan hatch could also be similar opposites? And then I thought of "The lampost" and the underwater "Looking Glass" station. Hmmm....and Jack used a looking glass to shatter the Lighthouse mirror...

Is it just me or did anyone else get annoyed by the fact that after the episode these guys never acknowledged the importance of finding Shannon's inhaler? It was completely over looked like it didn't matter when in actual fact it played a very big role in the show. Sawyer was tortured because they thought he had it thus leading Sayid to leave the camp temporarily out of shame and in doing so not only found the cable to The Looking Glass but also Danielle Rousseau. Major things might not of happened in the show if that one event of Sawyer getting tortured didn't happen. Just think if the Losties looked a little harder for Shannon's inhaler in the first place then alot of stuff in the show might have been alot different.

Mainly, I didn't like the Jacob character nor actor. It was a let down that Jacob wasn't actually immortal, nor even genuinely good. He was just some boring and selfish "guy" who lived a long time because of "island magic"? The introduction of the Jacob/MIB/Mother characters in S6 was anticlimactic and a let down for me. The show was ultimately about the Survivors of 815, and not Jacob. Thus, S6 was mostly a fail for me.

The show was ultimately about the Survivors of 815, and not Jacob. Thus, S6 was mostly a fail for me.
