Finn Cycles are made by Finn Scooters, a sister company to Sun Mountain Sports! Thanks to Fried Eggs and the iconic Scuba Steve for your epic review....and for all the laughs!
Great video and Finn should be holding your hand......You and Scuba are great spokespeople. About speed of play. How many times have you arrived at the second ball and realized the shot you thought you had isn't really how it's gonna play? You take a coupla clubs and walk to your ball and realize you don't have the club you need. Every golfer going directly to their shot and being ready to play has got to speed play! For those of us that venture into the deep rough from time to time......Four guys on Finn Cycles looking for a ball, rather than four guys in two carts.....Wow! The only downside I see......Waiting on the tee, while groups that don't have Finns slow the pace of play.
Had the opportunity to use one at Eagle Creek Golf Course in Norwalk, OH. What an awesome experience. It definitely will speed up play and I cannot wait to do it again! Two areas for improvement I think... 1) Over 18 holes, I got tired of the kick stand. Would be better with an electric kick stand 2) No good place to keep a towel.
I'm not even done watching, and I have to give you props for a Napoleon Dynamite sweet jumps shout out!! with Scuba giving a crossed arm cameo of Napoleon...LOL.
Have u ever tried the “Golfboard”??? Me being a former skateboarder absolutely loved it and had a blast.... and the playing faster on separate carts/buggies/boards/cycles is facts!
@@FriedEggsGolf Sounds like a perfect opportunity to try taking them down a small set of stairs. And to test the durability of your basement drywall :D
Such an accessory is in the works! Also...have you seen our cooler accessory!? Now we're talking... We do advocate for safe & sober riding, but understand you might want to bring bevvies along for a post-round cold one.
Haven't tried the Finn Cycle but I have tried the Phat Scooter. It was awesome! it definitely speeds up play because you each go to your own ball as if you were in your own cart. As much as I love golf it added an additional facet of fun to the game.
Great video! I rented one a week ago at a local course and was absolutely impressed! I just ordered my own and looking forward to it. I also did a survey of courses that I normally play to ensure that I could use it to play. Only one course did not allow it...regrettably my own home course! However, they don’t allow private carts anyway. Next season, I will join another course. 🤨 The one thing I am unsure about is transport. I drive a truck so I am hoping I can lift it into the back myself but I will have to problem solve that part. Thanks again for the very informative video. Keep up the good work.
This would be great for folks that live near or on a golf course. Much more compact & convenient than a full cart. Courses that have a lot of young golfers or tourists could find these very popular in the kiosk setup.
Thanks for the review Randy. Based on this vid and Scuba Steve’s HOLE IN 1 vid, there was no doubt that this was a definite 👍. Did I mention Scuba Steve’s HOLE IN 1? Oh yeah I did mention Scuba Steve’s HOLE IN 1!😉
They fit all Sun Mountain Sports bags, which are comparable to most bags on the market. If your bag is unusually large please check with course pros before renting, but Finn Cycles can accomodate most bags, yes.
Fantastic review, Randy! I think golf is for walkers, but the Finncycle looks like yee-haw fun! btw, the description above has the product name misspelled. Probably Ace just messin' with ya...
Hey Randy, awesome awesomeness on the fun (fin) cycles. Scuba Steve looking good on that cycle. How do you think it would do on a more hilly venue where the holes are more spread out over some acreage? They sure look fun to ride.😀 You're a good son, I won't tell Scuba Steve 🤐
@@FriedEggsGolf you know how you were talking about a kill switch, they should probably put one on if you're one handing it swinging a club like you're playing Polo 😂 OMG you and Scuba Steve playing for some "tots" ? Nevermind I just saw a cross/sport but naw I don't recommend it no horsing around on the course....... omg 😂I'm hilarious.
Dude.. If you're a member at a golf course that lets you have your own personal golf cart, this is a pretty sweet fuckin' deal.. granted it's only 1 passenger but if you're solo golfing all the time, this thing is awesome.
Honestly started skipping to the end(because old eggs know that’s where a good laugh will be...) after the Scuba Steve “10 second review” ..... I want one !!!!
You need leather vests with Fried Eggs logo on the back riding those cycles on the course. I bet others would be like, "hey there goes the neighborhood...." as you and your posse go riding by. I bet golf courses will struggle with finding a way to charge them and be compliant with Fire Marshall Bill.
serious questions, id like to see a greenskeepers say on these. i imagine that the weight distrubuton per wheel is the same or even less than a cart, but that would be interesting to see. also, i like to drink on the golf course, but i am older. im just thinking kids are going to air out of bunkers or crash them into trees or some shit like that. can they be outfitted with gps like carts can to avoid native areas or high speeds around club houses ect?
use groms instead... easier to maintain and a lot cheaper then some plastic scooter that's gonna fall apart in less then a year. and you can do dank wheelies on the course.
@@FriedEggsGolf ya I was just messing around.. I hate electric vehicles, though this looks cool. and probably a perfect use for them. I like small engine though.. like a 50cc on that or a 80cc..
Yeah yeah. But have you noticed that the new* Cleveland driver's got turbulators, got turbulators, got turbulators. The new* Cleveland driver's got... etc etc.... * Cleveland HB Turbo.
This company is smoking crack if they think a large amount of people are going to pay nearly $4k for this thing. It awesome don’t get me wrong this thing is cool but golf is such a small market. There will be a $499 knockoff in 6 months.

I ran into Scuba Steve last week in Warsaw. I had to laugh when he said you get upset when HE gets recognized! Good times
Couldn't be further from the truth. I find no greater pleasure than the fact my 61-year-old father has a fanbase. 🙏
I’m sorry we couldn’t talk more but all those people wanting to meet me was so claustrophobic .

100% agree! Fried Eggs FTW.
I think Brooks Keopka just ordered a Finncycle for JB Holmes.

Thanks, James!
I typed my zip code in and it says "Go to Randy's house". I'll bring the beer, you bring the bike.
You're going to be disappointed if you come to my house... we could ride them around my driveway.

Scuba Steve's house .. I'm their ..just gimme the date ..love from Ireland
We'll meet you there!
This looks sooooo cool. I'd be all about it, assuming that clubs were cool with having them on their course.
Clubs have been very receptive. It would be good to discuss Finn with your course.
9:35 the bike was making Chewbacca sounds when Roger was riding it. Lol.
If the makers of this bike are reading the comments... Cmon guys where is the built in cup/can holder for my beer 🍻???

It wouldn't be worth the funeral costs.
Here's hoping!
Great review, Randy! No Finn scooters within 100 miles of me, but Caledonia has them. Road Trip!!!
Worth it!
They look awesome. I am surprised there isn't a kill switch in the seat similar to lawn tractors.

PGA Tour event no caddies and all riding these things! 3 hour rounds?
It looks awesome and Scuba Steve obviously loves it. I'd love one. Any chance of them becoming available in Europe?

The United States.

Well done gentlemen! The question I have is will courses likely hassle you if you bring your own scooter?
I would definitely clear it with them before showing up with one.

Will courses let people use these? Most courses I play at wont let people use their own carts.
