The mag is solid. The rifle is solid. I just found access to a couple more mags at PSA, and was glad to buy. They have been hard to locate for a few months.
The Walther G22 magazine I have is exactly the same as this design in the way it loads, awesome design. Don't understand why so many people can't load them properly and complain about it.
I wish you would have addressed a different problem that can happen with the design of these magazines. This issue is totally related to the curve that the string of rounds takes in the magazine. It is entirely possible, if not quite easy, to load rounds such that the rim ends up BEHIND the rim of the round below it. I’m sure that this problem can be minimized [eliminated?] by not pulling the follower down as much while loading. But…………
I hope this works. My first trip with CCI pink tips I had a ton of failure to feeds the bullet getting stuck on the mag ramp/lip and was pretty tough to remove from the mag once it jammed In. Anyone else experience this? Hoping it was how i loaded the mag.
Why with all of the CAD and computer technology can't we make something that is simple, yet effective to load and use. A cover to deal with, make sure it is upright, so, so complex. The mag would be cheaper to make, and have fewer issues that we see with to many other magazines. What ever happened to the KISS principle?
Best .22 magazine design to date! Good work!
