What a cool artpiece. The main protagonists of Drakengard, and of Nier Replicant. Authors of true tragic stories, minus D2 guy... that guy gets off pretty well, all things considered.

He is however NieR replicant is a remake of NieR 2010. Drakengard is a prequel to NieR. There are even brother nier & kaine costume as dlc in Drakengard 3. This art was surely drawn before NieR automata got released.
