Although I prefer the climax with the flutes, I respect what they were going with. Considering Consul M's iteration of Mio was never an offseer and the iteration of Mio we experienced was, it would seemingly confirm the idea the only reason the flute played was a sly hint we were fighting our Mio.
@@arlynnecumberbatch1056I've finished the OST now. The normal theme uses M's climax version without flutes and M's theme uses the regular M climax with flutes. Unfortunately, the action climax isn't used at all, and I'd prefer that to be featured in this regular version, but we did get the unused area theme in the middle of them, so that's nice. I expect someone will eventually make a version of this where the climax is replaced, if they haven't already.
The full version goes hard. Didn't expect this (new?) nice transition part that works really well at 2:57, and especially that final (new?) awesome part at 7:08
The part at 2:57 is actually an unused Moebius theme ua-cam.com/video/gGOcSv8KsZs/v-deo.htmlsi=Q1OHv39jFhH6kheV And the part at around 7 minutes in is just M’s climax theme but without the flutes.
My only complaint is that once you’ve got chain attacks down, you only ever hear maybe the first minute or so of this song. Otherwise I’d feel comfortable putting this on a top ten “best boss battle themes of all time” list.
Nope, the linking segment of music i actually in the game files, but it goes unused, which I think makes sense since it wouldn't really fit in the flow of combat very well. I do wish it was used as a cut scene track as a pre-fight intro, it's so good.
Anyone who tries to tell me that G.O.W. deserved to win music score of the year over Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is delulu. It was highway robbery what they did.

Love that they included the unused theme in the middle as a transition. That buildup elevates the interlink battle theme so much
I came here just to find that out. 😄
So that unused Moebius theme was indeed meant to be a transition. ✍
May I remind everyone that this lost to God of War: Ragnarok…

@@N-CRYPT Yeah, true.
Stop it please 😭😭😭 actually makes me so mad dude
This song had an immediate intensity that got me, like how this whole game started.
Actually criminal that the ending version from the consul fight with K, X, and Y isn’t on the soundtrack
Actually criminal? lol
I respectfully agree.
I still can't find it anywhere online. The only version of it I possess is from my own gameplay video. 🥲
Actually though they did get the ending from X and Y but not the climax.
@@LutherDePapierI mean the music is online, just unfortunately not in the soundtrack officially. ua-cam.com/video/PjX9QHl2pys/v-deo.html

The OST has a separate M version of this track, which I haven't heard yet but probably has the M climax with flutes.
Wait so the climax ver is the song with the flute?

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was nominated for best soundtrack and Game of the Year, that is enough for me. I love these games.
if the word anxiety was a song
Jfc! This goes much harder than any of the previous versions! Talk about being better than the sum of its parts!

The climax is from the vs. M version, just without the flute
The intermission/field theme sounds like electro's theme

I was wondering where the Interlink version of the song was in the listing, but to my wonderful surprise it was already in this one.
Never played, but music is 🔥
Oh, they removed the Action Climax part. They could've easily separated this theme into two tracks and have the first part end on Action Climax
Best version ^^/
Something something something some coco aaaaaahh
Wait, did they create new bits of music to link together all the variants together?

This would be so fitting for the first fight against N. Simply to foreshadow the power you will have to fight against.
still peak I'm afraid
Better than any piece of music in God of War Ragnarok
