I think you gave 200% of your heart on these games and with the 3-4 points of handicap, it makes a big difference. Anastasia was aggressive and accurate but she wanted too much, this somehow might affect her mental strength, especially in critical situations. I would say next time, you should play with a 0-0 start.
I'm going to be honest, Adam plays it greatly. Not even close to the world best's, but he doesn't have to be. As a tennis table lover he is, his levels is leagues ahead of 99% of non -professional players. He's like the Street table tennis King per se. Yet, his shot @ 6:50min is something just incredible. No words can describe, and it's not luck because he did it several times in different games. That's a world class shot right there and i'm not sure if all top100 tennis table players in the world can do it.
You can clearly see in the games with Xu Xin that he's a serious player far above mid-tier competition level. Sure, Xu Xin was joking around all the time, but still to be able to make it look fun against an all-time great you have to be amazing. And against Anastasia, Adam is not playing even 30% to make it competitive and fun for the viewers. For example, you can see that the first 5 or so "snakes" he played in this latest match had no side spin at all, and once he played it seriously, she couldn't even return the ball. In reality, he is much stronger than her.
I think Anastasias only problem is mental focus. She gets frustrated easily from losing, and pays too much attention to the score. You can tell she gets stiff and unnatural when he is up points, until he gains match points and then she doesn't care anymore and plays recklessly, which actually makes her play more loose and naturally. She has all the power and accuracy, she just needs some variation against Adams lobs, like a really good drop or some spin and pace changes, and just better mental focus. I believe the four point gap was still very warranted seeing as she easily regained points when she was able to focus and get loose.
