Hi, just trying to compare this particular model with the double-bevel version (R255SMS-DB+) , and I'm wondering.... apart from this R255SMS model being only single-bevel, and having slightly inferior cutting capacities (eg... 80mm Vs 90mm with the DB+), ...are there any other differences, or anything that the more expensive DB+ version boasts over this one?
Yeah Rick I've been using that saw in my Welding/Fab shop as my primary saw for over 5 years. Its phenomenal! Just a couple of minor things that would make a perfect saw. When I bought mine it had a lot more plastic parts and the metal chips melted to the plastic, and the fence and hold downs weren't as nice, you had to have a secondary hold for extra safety. Other than that it is the "Cat's Meow".
Helpful video
Thank you, appreciate it
