I just yesterday for the fireworks. Tickets are so cheap I invited my whole family. If this is their last season in Oakland then I’m going down with the ship. I love this team till the bitter end.
The last Dive Bar in baseball.. Say what you want about the coliseum... it would be a packed house if the team marketed it, improved a few things, and spent even a little bit of money on homegrown talent. Tampas ownership gets it... Theyre one of the best teams in baseball despite all the same issues the A's have... but the A's ownership is a nepobaby and a swarmy liar... they have ruined my favourite team.
It's not the A's ownership's fault that a new stadium couldn't be worked out in Oakland. A's have been trying to have a stadium built ever since the early 2000s, but it never materialized. The City of Oakland could be in the running for an expansion team in several years.
There's blame to be shared everywhere. And I'm no defender of Oakland's city administration. But if Fisher had just wanted a stadium deal, instead of a massive real estate development scheme that happened to include a ballpark, then the new stadium at Howard Terminal could have been in the works by now.
@@vision-gc4hy Fisher never intended to keep the team in Oakland unless he could get others to pay for his land development scheme to raise the value of the franchise without spending his own money.
Nice video. Towards the end you say that this will be the A's last season in Oakland. However, even if the deal to move to LV is confirmed there won't be a new stadium there for several years, so there is a good chance they will remain at the empty Coliseum for a few more seasons. What a depressing sight that will be, when even hardcore fans like me stop going completely, which is what me and my friends are doing.
Thanks! Not certain but I believe MLB said they’d consider sharing Oracle park between the giants and As. So because the lease is up on the coliseum this season, it’s almost certainly their last.
@@AdamDoesNotExist I haven't heard that. But if that's true I can't see anybody attending games there. Might as well just use the minor league stadium in Vegas in the meantime. Although I really doubt MLB players will stand for getting hung out in the 100+ degree heat of the summer with no roof in that ballpark. The whole scheme of putting an MLB team in Vegas just doesn't make much sense. I live in the Oakland area and I'll be the first to admit the city has more than its share of problems, but there are certainly at least several other cities with bigger media markets, more stable fan bases, and less extreme climates that would be better options for a team than Vegas.
It still costs a ton to go to a game, park, and eat- even with the staff and team (and maintenance) cut down to the bare bones. California clearly isn't helping that and i think the state and city are just as much of a problem as the absent, pennypinching ownership, which has really drawn out the process since the Raiders skipped town.

I grew up going to Giants and Oakland A's games and open to the last couple seasons. Oakland A's games were really fun although the stadium wasn't nice at all the atmosphere the fans in the energy was amazing.
Yeah it really is a shame. I’ve been to a few giants games over the last few years and the atmosphere can sometimes be lacking.
Clickbait of you to have a full arena in the thumbnail when referring to the A’s
Felt like you were giving us a tour of LA where they were closing the food stands, how depressing.
Bros thumbnail is mega generous!!!
Yeah it’s a cartoon. Def did not look like this at that game. It sure did on Tuesday though!
I feel bad for all of the A’s fans because they go everyday going to a almost empty stadium because they’re team is bad, it’s just sad to see honestly.
Hey man I enjoyed this video lol! Way to look at the glass half full.
I’m really glad you liked it!
I'm still a lifelong A's fan. 9 championships don't lie.
Can’t argue with 9!
I just yesterday for the fireworks. Tickets are so cheap I invited my whole family. If this is their last season in Oakland then I’m going down with the ship. I love this team till the bitter end.
You and me both!
The 4000 fans looked like 400 in that stadium
It's hard to capture on the camera but when you get to the upper decks it really is a surreal feeling.
A’s Raiders Warriors damn a Oakland 😢 smh 🤦🏾♂️ still a fan of all thought no matter where they play 🤷🏾♂️
And the NHL Seals… good for you though, true fan!
It’s not official that they’re leaving to LV. Read the facts.
I really really hope they stay in Oakland. But it seems far more likely that they leave.
5 game win streak
I got nothing, that's just depressing
Gotta come on a Friday to section 138 with Last Dive Bar
The Marlins are a beatable team!
💯 I completely agree
It's not the A's ownership's fault that a new stadium couldn't be worked out in Oakland. A's have been trying to have a stadium built ever since the early 2000s, but it never materialized. The City of Oakland could be in the running for an expansion team in several years.
Imo there’s plenty of blame to share on this one.
There's blame to be shared everywhere. And I'm no defender of Oakland's city administration. But if Fisher had just wanted a stadium deal, instead of a massive real estate development scheme that happened to include a ballpark, then the new stadium at Howard Terminal could have been in the works by now.
They could have easily rebuilt the stadium they're playin in. Any other owner would have done just that.
@@vision-gc4hy Fisher never intended to keep the team in Oakland unless he could get others to pay for his land development scheme to raise the value of the franchise without spending his own money.
The White Sux have surpassed the A's in Worst ball team of all time
I thought I was watching a 100k sub youtuber.. good stuff
*totally deserve it tho*
Incredibly kind comments. I really appreciate it! Comments like these truly are what keep me going!
They do not play in the oldest stadium
Yup you're right! A few people have pointed out that it's not the oldest, but it is the oldest without a major renovation.
Holy crap 16$ for a beer? That is more than what i paid for tickets in 2011.
Yup. I spent more on beer than I did on my ticket!
Awesome video
Thank you!!
4,000 fans is terrible, BUT, it's better than most WNBA games !!!
The oldest is Not the As stadium it’s probably the Red Sox Stadium
Yup you're right! A few people have pointed out that it's not the oldest, but it is the oldest without a major renovation.
Red Sox Are DOGWATER Also
Not the oldest stadium by a long shot
Yeah good call, I think it’s like number 5 or so. I saw somewhere that its the oldest without major upgrades.
@@AdamDoesNotExisti guess they thought Mount Davis was a major upgrade ;)
@@al1976-v7m ugh. That’s so upsetting!
it is john fisher
It still costs a ton to go to a game, park, and eat- even with the staff and team (and maintenance) cut down to the bare bones. California clearly isn't helping that and i think the state and city are just as much of a problem as the absent, pennypinching ownership, which has really drawn out the process since the Raiders skipped town.
as and a's fan what the heck brp you have no idea what i have gone threw as a fan we trade every body
It looked like the National Anthem contingent had the fans outnumbered.
It certainly felt like it. I can assure you there were more kids on school filed trips there than people like me.
Move to Vegas is not Official btw
I know I'm still hoping they stay!
I thought this was going to be a Mets video.
Hahaha 😂
U finna make it
Thanks my guy!
You went to an A’s Game?
Sure did
Yes, I love to watch the AZ Coyotes off the ice, as they've been an entertaining trainwreck for over quarter century. No sports franchise is embarassing as the AZ Coyotes. NONE.
Hahaha. You definitely know the struggle 😂
You have no idea, my whole family are die hard Washington Generals fans.
This was a REALLY good video. Thank you so much for sharing. Fuck las vegas.
Literally laughed out loud at this comment. Glad you enjoyed the video!
Bro I’m going there for my birthday
Awesome, have fun!
Um Fenway is the oldest by the way
yup the coliseum is just oldest without a major renovation
A’s always had the best fans. Not many of them but the ones they did have were awesome. Seems they are even gone now
There’s still a few hanging on but you’re right. Their presence is fading.
JUST BET AGAINST WHO EVER THEY PLAY > ROLL OVER ABOUT 7 TIMES
Turns out the royals are just as bad if not worse (skill-wise at least)
It’s a real race to the bottom 😬
Not the oldest stadium
Yup you're right! A few people have pointed out that it's not the oldest, but it is the oldest without a major renovation.
What a depressing Stadium
Definitely not the oldest stadium my dude.
Yup you right. A few people have pointed out that it's not the oldest, but it is the oldest without a major renovation.
The team is so bad that it is good.
Exactly! You’re free to have fun when you already know how the game will end.
I think I’ll do this too
Have fun!
It's not the oldest but it is the worst
