There is a proverb that only those who are willing to climb high mountains can see the most beautiful scenery. That is true! The scenery there is magnificent. I really admire you for being willing to climb the mountain for two hours and fifty minutes to shoot such incredible videos. Thank you very much for sharing, you did a super great job again! 👍🥰🙏❤
I've been watching all of your Peru videos too. It brings back wonderful memories of our trip there in 2022. Ollantaytambo was one of my favorite places.
I really enjoyed Peru when I got to visit for 2 1/2 weeks back in 2021. It was amazing visiting Machu Piccu with almost no tourists due to strict Covid protocols. Hiking in Peru is hard though due to the high elevation. I recently returned from a vacation in Argentina and followed some of yours and Carol's itinerary in El Calafate and Ushuaia - so thank you for your vlogs covering those areas. I really love South America now having visited Peru, Chile and Argentina in the past 3 years. There is just so much to see and do and its affordable thanks to the USA dollar exchange rate. I will be visiting Rio for Carnivale in February for the first time and will make sure to review all your vlogs for Rio. I hope you and Carol keep on exploring all over South America and the world. I only get 5 weeks of vacation time each year, so I rely on your vlogs on helping me decide where I vacation at.
That’s great that your are exploring South America. We felt that we needed to see more in Ushuaia but we ran out of time. How was the hike to Fitz Roy? The last part of it killed us haha
I’ve been looking at your adventures for I guest ! 4 years! What a beautiful couple, You guys explain everything aspect on you video’s that make it so entertaining & hard work , keep up your passion! J A😊❤
Oh woow ❤I’m saving this I’m adding it to my itinerary! This is incredible I’ve already got my husband to agree and visit Ollantaytambo! And let me shop at the market! I love this kinda of places culture history beautiful scenery interesting architecture not too many people! This place looks pukka 👌🏼 I cannot wait to be able to go! So far this journey in Peru has been outstanding (one of your best👍🏼) Sabrina 🇫🇷🇬🇧
What a fascinating video and beautiful country Peru is....thanks for showing us a bit of the world Carol and Chris...all the best to you both and god bless. ❤
You guys are so blessed to be able to hike these beautiful places. I hope you thank Jesus for your health everyday. His creation is incredible. God Bless
Thank you, watching this on a giant TV and it’s gorgeous! At marker 28 when Chris is describing everything, I can see the joy and happiness on his face! And Miss Carol, dressed so stylishly leaning against the rocks eating ❤️🥪 ❤. Keep up the great work!

Good day Chris and Carol, thank you for sharing your adventure in Peru. That is such a beautiful place. Traveling with you is an amazing feeling ❤❤❤❤❤. I also love your background music.
Just wow, impressive is an understatement really. The scenery there is magnificent and worth every step you took.I`m not a climber but would happily climb for the views. Thanks for the share.
The anxiety that I felt sitting on my couch watching you guys clambering about on these steep hillsides was hilarious! I had to pause the video! You guys must have both been mountain goats in another life! LOL! Tome cuidado!
I'm so glad you decided to stay in Ollantaytambo. I hope you also make it to Pisac for the market. Hands down, my wife and I think this is your best series to date, and we've seen all of yours. Thanks for the ride! Have you considered going up to tour the rich cultural and archeological region around and on Lake Titicaca area? The Incas got many of their architecture, roads and empire management ideas from the Tiwanaku culture that was centered there. Plus, there's no other place on earth like it.
Thanks for the nice comment! Very happy that you guys enjoy our vids and are enjoying this series the most 😊 we did think about it but we didn’t have time to make it to the lake on this trip as we ended up doing so many things just around this region. We will definitely be back for sure though 👍

Chris & Carol:Congratulations to you guys for your new remarkable video this week from Peru to shows these amazing places in the villages South America 2023❤❤❤
Hello, In QUECHUA: APU: god / goddest INTI PUNKU: sun gate (bc the gate is aligned with the sun, it passes through it exactly in the middleat a certain time) you guys missed an archaeological remains very close to the town of ollantaytambo, Raqay. Perolniyoc is a waterfall and is close to another archaeological site in the mountains, Raqaypata, you should return :) and better if it is during the festivities of the patron Chokequillca, and There are other types of AIRBNB's to stay. A short distance from Ollantaytambo is Huaypo lake, a beautiful place to picnic, watch birds and enjoy nature. You can go on quad bike or on foot.
Wow! From start to finish, breath taking views. I was trying to imagine being there and taking in the views, the ending scenes with the meal (as long as it wasn’t Guinea pig🤣)and what looked like a monster ribeye steak 👍👍
Bom dia carioca prezados Chris e Carolina, Aplaudo seu ótimo trabalho👏👏🌹👏👏👏👏👏👏👏. Mais um excelente vídeo. Obrigada por compartilha-lo. Informações boas.
Beautiful view much love to you both sending my love blessings and appreciation from Nyc and buffalo NY ❤ very inspiring and breathtaking views in Peru 📸
I hope you will go to Cordillera Blanca in the north and if you want to see one of the most beautiful mountains in the world go and see Alpamayo the north face is stunning l was there when the Sendero Luminoso were at their height so the area was almost void of foreigners.
I’ve been following along, thanks for the great vids! So there’s more than one Intipunku? You passed through the sun gate overlooking MP in previous video.
Excellent video. I have always seen the graineries from a distance, but never up close. Thank you for taking us up there! On the Inca Trail there is also a Sun Gate, but this one was different, right? Inti means sun, and the sun was like a god, therefore lots of places with inti.
What a great video. I’m planning to visit Peru next year, with a couple of days at Ollantaytambo. And I’ve now added the sun gate to my things to do. Can I ask, did you shoot everything on your GoPro? Even when you’re recording yourself? I’m impressed by the quality. Cheers.
yeah the majority is on the gopro, always the gopro when filming ourselves talking. We do take some shots on the iphone though when we want to zoom in more on something, mainly for the broll scenes
@@JumpingPlaces hi there, the response is very much appreciated. I’m doing the Inca trial and now it seems also the Sungate outside of Ollantaytambo and I think the GoPro is, well, the go. Thanks again.
Hey guys! Thanks for sharing your adventure. Is there anyway you can share the trail map for the "easier" route. I am planning to visit soon and can't seem to find the map that you took back down.
