Just finished a brutal 3 month bicycle only tour of the west and east coastline of southern India(Pangim/Goa to Kanyakumari/Tamil Nadu to Chennai)...
Am now in Bangkok...recovering...

Another great video from you guys! ❤ the altitude was tough on me while we were in Cusco. Climbing those stairs in Ollantaytambo ruins was even harder to breath, had to stop multiple times. But once you get to Aguas Calientes it's a bit better, I guess it's on lower altitude. But what a beautiful country Peru is.

Loved your video of the Sacred Valley and Ollantaytambo! We have been there 3 times already and are hoping to go back in May. There is so much to see there, Peru just has this special allure....its the people, the food, the culture....its all wonderful! We have stayed in Lima, Cusco and Ollantaytambo. Its just a very special place for us. When we were in Cusco, we took a private tour to Tipon....I think its my favorite place! The hike was a little tough, but we did it! Enjoy the rest of your time there! Looking forward to the next video!

Definitely Ollantaytambo it’s a town that should expend a few days to explore. It’s a beautiful Inca town that it’s alive, cultura viva.

Great video Chris and Carol. Thanks for sharing your amazing adventures with us. I watch lots of UA-cam travelers but you two are the most relaxing and enjoyable to watch. I always look forward to your next video. I live in Los Angeles but I visit Lima twice a year. Just a few days ago I rented an apartment in Lima because I want to test out whether I can retire there. If you need any restaurant recommendations let me know. Two museums that you should visit in Lima are Museo Larco in Pueblo Libre and Amano Museum in Miraflores. And Pedro de Osma museum in Barranco is also worth a visit.

@@JumpingPlaces I retired in 2023 and immediately moved to Panama, then Ecuador, Nicaragua and past 7 years in Costa Rica.. Covid messed with travel plans the past 3, nearly 4 years.

How would early civilizations survived in mountainous country like this without the terracing? They were so different from early civilizations in North America, and seem to go back a lot further. You don't see this on just one tour. This tour was much different than Machu Picchu. Much more of the ancient architecture has been preserved. Thanks for getting off the typical tourist destinations! This was much more interesting. I'm looking forward to the next surprise.

if you end up in Huarez Peru you should take a tour to Chavin de Huanter
We won’t have time on this trip, doing things around this region. But I searched that area and it looks amazing and less touristy, will definitely go next time 👍

Where are the Gringos? It seems your vloggs are really important to the local economy. Luckily you 2 are one of the best vloggers out there. Hopefully others will follow you. I will definitely go back to Peru and Bolivia in the next year. Can't wait for trekking videos.
Luckily this company tries to beat the crowds so they do the tour in a different order than the majority of the other tours so we ended up not being there at the same time. That’s why it looks empty in the video

Yeah! trying to talk while walking upstairs is tough. Even walking on a flat surface at high altitude can be tiring when talking when your not acclimatized properly
