Cumulus do some good gear I've got the quilt for 3 season and the mountain equipment helium 600gt best bag I've used the extra room is great.think lowest I can get down to is about 10kg for winter none snow camp.
Thanks very much for the comment and watching Craig. I have had the Helium 600 too and you are right it is an excellent bag with enough room to turn around and i have also got the Firefly which is currently for sale on the bay because i wanted to find something a tad warmer and i just fancied the Cumulus Xlite Custom because i can get the extra shoulder width and choose the colours and fabric plus the fill ratio between the top and base. Personally i dont think too deep into sleeping bag weights for winter because i always have a good base layer set up and full down gear but the number one priority with the bag is that its big enough to get a down jacket and trousers on inside without it feeling like a coffin because you can always up an R rating by big numbers this way rather than laying it over you plus you can stuff the jacket and trousers where you need it and the Panyam is a 65/35 fill which for me gives to the edge over the Helium although everyone uses different types of mats but for my choices this has worked very well. The pack is a good start for dropping a good amount of weight and this Zpack only weighs around 600gms and it's a 70 litre which is mental. When i first bough a Zpack i didn't think they would be robust and comfortable and in all honesty its the most comfortable pack i have work and you can really synch the back so you get max airflow to regulate your body heat and prevent a cold sweaty back. I might make a video and go into more detail soon. ATB
Love the look of the lightwave s15, saw your other review of it. Have you had any bad condensation after a night of heavy rain?
Its rained every time i have used it Connor, and even when its been howling wind and rain its been fine and on the occasions when its been pouring down constantly with no rain i have had a little bit but a quick wipe over with an observant cloth twice through the long nights has fixed this. Thanks for commenting 👍
