I have 3 children. All of them were born prematurely. My last child, my 2nd daughter, just turned one year old today. She was around 2 months early. She is saying words, "mama" "dada" "baba" "stop" "byebye" -- she can drink out of a straw, she picks up items with both hands. She recognizes shapes with her toys & matches them. BUT she wont hold her bottle. She won't attempt to crawl or stand/walk no matter how much we try to help her. She only wants to sit on her bottom & play. She moves her feet & legs well in a walker but stiffens up when I hold her up with my hands to encourage her to take steps. We hired a physical therapist but it doesn't seem to be helping as she only comes every two weeks.
I apologize for the late response on this. It sounds like your child's spine and pelvis are not fully activated to allow for those fine and gross motor skills to happen and would be one of the reasons why she is stiffening becuase she doesn't have the internal counterbalance functions needed to feel comfortable when you just hold her by the hands. I would need to see a video of her moving to give you more guidance. If she was intubated it's possible that she has an ethmoid or an atlas jam which would make it difficult to do those facial movements. I can give you more guidance on what exercises you need to start doing with your to unlock her optimal developmental potential. Post a video of her in my Facebook group Movement Lesson for Parents and Practitioners, facebook.com/groups/MovementLessonParentsPractitioners. If you want to jump into some simple spine and pelvis exercises with her, here is a link to my mini spine course, and a link to my mini pelvis course. Hello Madam my daughter turned 4 months yesterday she is babling coos and smiles looking at the white ceiling or while in sleep . She is not rolling yet and has squint in one eye so she looks tilted . When on tummy she holds her neck but if you put her on back and try to.lift her with hands she will resist and through her head back . Is this muscle.weakness or it underlying major concern . This is my second child . I am just unable to sleep does she have vision issue thats reason she doesnt smile . We had done gentic screeni g before nothing came up . Now iam.super worried please help.if i can share some videos of her 😢😢
So is the baby smiling or not smiling? You have said both. I would need to see videos to see if your baby has simply movement gliches that can be worked out for optimization, or if there is something more serious going on. You can post a video on my facebook group - facebook.com/groups/MovementLessonParentsPractitioners
@@ketkigijare1578Hey how is your baby....what about her head tilt...My baby is 5 month old and she tilt her head towards left and doctor said that it is due to her squint eyes.
If the squint eyes is not genetics, have you taken your baby to an eye doctor? A 5-month-old who is squinting, does not have the opportunities needed in her system to create optimal development on her own.
Hi So i have a 14 month old At 8/9 months a dr diagnosed him with cerebral palsy. Mind you there were no scans or testing done, however they have been f/u from birth and he has some developmental delays. I have a paediatric appointment coming on the 23/09 , I’ve done some research but fear im not educated enough i am currently 23 years old and looking for play time therapy but not much in South Africa 😢
Every country has different regulations on how they diagnose. We are here to help teach you how to give your child the movements of development, since he is not creating them on his own. When you give a baby optima milestone movements, then you can watch their quality of life and potential increase for the future. I would be happy to do a free evaluation of your baby on my facebook page. I can give you some guidance of where to start working with him. You do not have to be educated to help your baby. I finally got fed up with no options in therapy and realized if change was going to happen for my son, I would have to be the one to do it. I teach you what I did to help my son thrive in his optimal development. He still has autism and his other diagnosis, but he is doing things of a functional nature that no one else in his condition can. You can help your son. I have free an paid courses. Again, post of the facebook group, I will give you a plan of action and I will give you hope for your child's best future he is capable of. facebook.com/groups/MovementLessonParentsPractitioners
My baby is six months old,she smiles, laughs, make eye contact and blab too but doesn’t have strong back muscles, sometimes it seems as if she’s slipping off my hand, she can sit unassisted for about 20mins but can’t pull herself up yet, please is that also a sign,I’m so scared
I can not diagnose for CP since I am not a doctor. You should never be saying about your baby "they don't have a strong back." Development is not optimal. How not optimal, we need more information. Watch this video to get a feel for your baby's developmental timeline - ua-cam.com/video/4t43NKbn44M/v-deo.htmlsi=ucI0V_SJFdilDSE_. From there we will work with you on how to identify the core milestone movements that are missing that is not allowing her to sit for longer periods of time. You will have to manually teach her those movements. At this point you may not have enough going on that your Pediatrician would be concerned. Please mention these things to them, just in case you have a proactive Pediatrician and they will actually do something to help you. If you are in the U.S. Pediatricians don't do a full developmental check until your baby is 9 months old. So based on what your describing, you will probably be told to stop worrying. Your baby should never feel like they are slipping. This is a sign of non-optimal development happening. Don't let your worry paralyze you and do nothing anyway. You do need to be helping your baby. Development is not happening in their system. Based on the video, once you know what your baby's developmental timeline is, get in my Fast Start Support program and start with the Sleeping and lying down course. It's 60 days free so you have nothing to loose by trying the course. You will have access to a practitioner if you are struggling with implementation. In the courses you are shown how to evaluate the quality of the milestones and how to work on your child where it counts . You need to find those parts of the body that are not milestoneing. It sounds like you are a ready noticing that back. Here is the link to the program - www.movementlesson.academy/fast-start
My 8 months old son have treatment and diagnosed with hydrocephalus, some water in his right brain..but the doctor says that it is impossible to go for a treatment like for operation,etc.. Movement Lesson teaches you how to give the body optimal development experiences so it can start optimizing. Movement Lesson is not a fix, but it a long term care plan to help you help your child have their best development possible. You want to start teaching your child the movements of basic milestones your baby is not creating on their own becuase of the hydrocephalus. You can get started in my Fast Start Support Program, starting with the Sleeping and Lying Down Course. Spend a week applying the exercises in each course and watch your baby start having functional skills he didn't have before. Uitlize the support there to help you where ever you get stuck in the exercises. www.movementlesson.academy/fast-start

My step-grandson is 19 months old. He isn't walking unassisted. He can sit up a bit slouchy and stand or even walk in a baby walker, but he is like a noodle when he tries to walk unassisted. The daycare called in a specialist to assess him. They just said he needs to wear "study" shoes. That was over a month ago. I've never seen a child unable to walk at 19 months old. He isn't talking much at all either. He is just still much a baby and not a toddler. What are your thoughts please?
Optimal Development is not happening for your step-grandson. I can give you more information on where he is missing milestones that are not allowing the walk to happen if you post a video on my Facebook Group. I do free reviews - facebook.com/groups/MovementLessonParentsPractitioners. If you want to start helping him right away, get in my Fast Start Support Program. My baby likes to clinch his fist he rolls over it’s a little hard for him because we didn’t give him as much tummy time as he needed. He follows objects with his eye an grabs his feet. Is there anything I should be worried about
Your baby should just roll through the spine not grabbing and flinching. Baby's aren't meant to use 'muscles' for movement during their first milestones. Also, he should be rolling by three months of age. Post a few videos in my Facebook group so I can review them facebook.com/groups/MovementLessonParentsPractitioners
My sister's granddaughter was born with congenital myotonic dystrophy, and Celebral Palsy, she only feeds through a pipe from outside the body into her little stomach. She is now 15 months old and can only sit on her own for about 20/5 minutes, and won't eat anything by mouth.
The big thing that we do here at Movement Lesson is reorganize the Movement Structure. There are things your granddaughter can't do because the movement does not exist. Even at 15 months old you want to go back and give her the movement structure that allows for optimal development. Because of her challenges you may not get physical performances of milestones but she can get the experience of the milestones as if she did not have the challenges and that will give her abilities that were not possible before. More than anything she can choose to do or not to do something. Eating is quite complex and she is having to work to hard to keep other parts of her body going to even work with those milestones in the mouth. You can learn more about what we do in my free training on Movement Structure and Development. www.movementlesson.academy/what-is-movement-lesson-youtube
My son is also having cp diagnosed.he was born as premature at 7 month.still now he can't hold his neck and can't take milk from his mouth.now he is 4 months but can't take milk from his mouth.still useing feeding tube.please help.
If you want to create the movement foundations from the beginning, to optimize the baby's development as much as possible, get in my fast start support program and spend 2-3 weeks on each course, going in order, starting with the Sleeping and Lying down course. www.movementlesson.academy/fast-start
My son was born at 25 weeks and had bilateral brain bleeds, he’s 7 months old now but only 4 months adjusted. I’m worrying that he has it. I feel like he’s not as strong as he should be at this point
For optimal development you want to be working with the actual age of your child with is 7 months. I am more than happy to do a free movement review for you on my Facebook Group. In the mean time I would get started with the worried parent kit, and go through the super baby bootcamp with your baby pronto. Development doesn't wait or catch up, you will need to make it happen for your baby. He may not be able to have developmental performances but for self-care and functional movements he need the experiences of development which I teach you how to offer with the course + you get support and your child can be evaluated from the practitioner running the support group. www.movementlesson.academy/worried-parent-starter-kit
My baby is 11 months old and he does not sit unassisted or if he does he bends all the way over he will put pressure on both feet he holds eye contact and follows toys but will not grab at them he has had a mri it was normal. He rolls both ways he is in pt I was told he is unmotivated I don’t know what to do next
Babies are not unmotivated. He doesn't have movement. You need to start giving your child the experiences of development they are missing out on. I would suggest that you start at the beginning and spend a week on each milestone, so you can find where your child's movement structure isn't setting up. You can get started with my fast start program. You get the first 60 days free. Start with the Sleeping and Lying down course and then you are going to progress through each milestone every week. www.movementlesson.academy/fast-start
My baby was born at 24 weeks and had suffered water on the brain and his dr mentioned him maybe having issues like cp how do you find out with a baby so young I know you mentioned brain injury can cause it
You can self-evaluate for risk of cp with my newborn movement assessment. If your baby scores in the 11 to 15 range, you are at high risk. I would get into my worried parent program and have my practitioner Erin Fulks help you with your home assessment. www.movementlesson.academy/worried-parent-starter-kit, if you can't get into the program right now. I do do free movement reviews on my Facebook group. You can post a picture of your baby there and I can give you an evaluation for risk. If you are worried about CP I would act like you have it and be proactive in helping your baby until you know you don't have it. You approach it the other way around, you will have a lot of regrets. link to my facebook group, facebook.com/groups/MovementLessonParentsPractitioners

My baby was born at 36 week She's almost 5 weeks old Not making eye contact No palmar reflex She's on hypothyroidism medication Should i worry about CP Please help me M scared to death😢
I would need to see a video please post on my Facebook group. facebook.com/groups/MovementLessonParentsPractitioners. More important than being scared, you need to be proactive. Scared and doing nothing is just like being not scared and doing nothing. You child is will do what they will do. The best thing to do is talk to your doctor about it. At the same time, even when there should be concern doctors are not and they are waiting for failure instead of being proactive and preventative if at all possible. There are movements your child needs to experience with each milestone. You can teach these movements to your child. Learn more on my website - www.movementlesson.academy/
Hi my sons 14 months he's been hitting all his milestones so far. He has however been scrunching his fingers today since around 3 months of age and occasionally bends his foot to the side , could this be cerebral palsy or would I have known from birth as he is hitting his milestones? Thankyou x

My baby is 8 months old.. He doesn't make eye contact and doesn't follow objects.... And also he has development delay.. He rolling both side and trying to crawl.. He sits with support. You need to tell your pediatrician and demand a referral to early intervention services. That is not normal, and your baby needs help. Your child is not going through the development process. You need to manually offer your baby their developmental milestones. I teach you how to do that in my Fast Start Support Program - the first 60 days are free. www.movementlesson.academy/fast-start. Start with the sleeping and lying down course and do that course for 3 weeks. Make an appointment with support so they can keep you encouraged and motivated as you work with your baby. If you are able to get a referral for early intervention services, that is likely months out and your baby doesn't have months to wait to get help with development. You also need a good eye exam from a pediatric ophthalmologist and a hip x-ray. When you have those reports, post a video of your child with the reports on my Facebook group and I can give you more guidance. facebook.com/groups/MovementLessonParentsPractitioners
The baby is 4 months old (spontaneous vaginal birth at 38 weeks), keeps arching her back, resists to be on her side. She reaches objects with both hands while not on her tummy, but while she's on her tummy, she seems to be holding most her weight on her right arm, and reaches for toys with her left. She seems scared to let go of her weight on her right, scared to roll over, would arch her back if we make an attempt to roll her from either direction. Sometimes she falls over by herself, but it doesnt look smooth. The pediatric physiotherapist recommended exercises to strengthen her core muscle, and to see her again in a couple weeks. I'm worried there's more to it than just weak core.
Your baby is struggling. Keep talking to your doctor to look into your child's needs more. While waiting for them to do something you need to redirect your child's development by giving her a new movement structure - go through my free training and get started with the basics - www.movementlesson.academy/what-is-movement-lesson-youtube

I have over 20 years of experience and over 35,000 hours of working with clients from severe special needs to high end athletes.
My baby was born at 36 week
She's almost 5 weeks old
Not making eye contact
No palmar reflex
She's on hypothyroidism medication
Should i worry about CP
Please help me
M scared to death😢
Thankyou x
I can't diagnose CP. I can tell you if your baby's movements are organizing to CP but I need to see a video. I do free reviews on my Facebook group, facebook.com/groups/MovementLessonParentsPractitioners
My baby is 8 months old.. He doesn't make eye contact and doesn't follow objects.... And also he has development delay.. He rolling both side and trying to crawl.. He sits with support. His MRI Scan is normal.. And VEP Test shows Bilateral Retino-optic pathway dysfunction. Pediatric Opthomologist suggest Vision Therapy. Please suggest what should I do? Please help🙏
I would need to see a video to give you more guidance. Please post on my Facebook Group for a free movement review and guidance (you can do it anonymously), or we can do a private zoom consultation. If you prefer that option, email admin.info@movementlesson.com
My baby is 6 months but she doesn't respond to sounds, she doesn't maintain eye contact
@@movementlesson Alright mummy thank you
You are welcome.
The baby is 4 months old (spontaneous vaginal birth at 38 weeks), keeps arching her back, resists to be on her side. She reaches objects with both hands while not on her tummy,
but while she's on her tummy, she seems to be holding most her weight on her right arm, and reaches for toys with her left.

My baby 4month head no control
Have you talked to your pediatrician? Are they looking into genetics. That's a big deal.
