      My son just went through another surgery so it has been a rough day. It helps to know that all of his suffering has not been in vain. I am glad you are finding hope and answers in the content I offer. Erin and I are working so hard to get this out to parents like yourself. We don't have the book translated in German yet, but we are working on it. You are more than welcome. Thank you for the best wishes.

    My daughter is four months and can roll from her back to her belly but gets her right arm stuck. I haven't been able to find anyone that helps

    • @movementlesson
      @movementlesson  Рік тому

      The arm shouldn't be getting stuck. It's likely her chest and head are too heavy. If your daughter just needs a little help, my rolling over course should do the trick www.movementlesson.academy/rolling-over-course-exercises, but if that doesn't help then there is more going on than needing some rolling over support and I can give you free movement review to tell you what that is in my facebook group Movement Lesson for Parents and Practitioners. facebook.com/groups/MovementLessonParentsPractitioners

    My daughter is a little over two months and we didn’t know about tummy time until the last 2 weeks or so. We put her on her tummy and she doesn’t like it. She cries and she doesn’t lift her head and she just kicks with her legs while raising her butt instead of her upper body. What can I do to help her get on track, and should I be concerned cause I am

    • @movementlesson
      @movementlesson  Рік тому

      A baby should never hate tummy time. Do a channel search on tummy time so you can watch all my videos on tummy time. This will give you a better understanding of what could be going on. The butt in the air is not good and you should be concerned. Every one will tell you not to be worried and let your baby figure out development. In her case if you do that, she will figure it out wrong. You will need to teach her development. Most likely she won't qualify for therapy if your pediatrician isn't acting concerned. Your pediatrician doesn't know to be concerned about this and its my mission to change that. Until then, you will have to proactive and support your child's movement needs development. I teach you how to do that. A heavy head usually that means your baby has a heavy head. You can learn more about what a heavy head is in my free course on a Heavy head, www.movementlesson.academy/baby-heavy-head. Your baby needs a good movement review. I do free movement reviews on my facebook group Movement Lesson for Parents and Practitioners, and I will let you know if you have something more serious than a heavy head going on. facebook.com/groups/MovementLessonParentsPractitioners. Even if you don't understand the review, my companion Erin Fulks will help you understand your movement review if you join my child support program. All my courses can be overwhelming, so she breaks it down and helps you focus on learning exercise techniques and movement foundations so you can understand your child's developmental needs and what do do step by step. First start with the heavy head course and the Movement Review.

    Hi, my baby girl is almost 5 months and whenever she is in tummy time, I notice she will frequently bend her wrist where her hand is kind of out to the side. This is not every time she's in tummy time though. Is it something to be concerned with?

    This is what I have been worried about because our daughter has a rare bone marrow disease called pnh and they had to take the baby at 29 weeks 6 days. So I didn't know whether to treat him like a three-month older a five-month-old. But they said that he needs more tummy time especially due to his PVL grade 1.
    Apparently boys are little behind anyway which I know this with her son. But now I wonder if he didn't have a problem because he had the cord wrapped around his neck three times.
    But my grandson would be 3 months old if you go by his due date but he's really five months out of uterus.
    I watch your videos over and over so I can remember what to do because I get him for the weekend.
    But it was tough because he seemed to only eat and sleep. But his awake times are longer now and I think tummy time helps to wear him out so he sleeps better.
    She wants us to do it for a full 10 minutes.
    But is that leave him on his belly for 10 minutes, even if he's not raising his head much?
    I have also been using my large exercise ball with my husband encouraging him on the other side yo look up at him.
    Thanks so much. ❤

      For optimal development, you do not want to go off of age-adjusted when your baby was born. I would like to see a video, with your daughter's permission, to give you the best exercises to utilize for your grandson's optimal development. You might enjoy trying these exercises. Do one exercise 30 minutes a day. Make sure you check with the doctor to make sure that baby is okay to be worked using exercises to initiate, stimulate, and enhance one's optimal development. www.movementlesson.academy/blog/baby-basics
