This is such a helpful video, but I still can’t decide between the two because they both look awesome 😄 I think these are great for a personal item (especially with airlines that have harsh size/weight restrictions, such as Jetstar), and travel day bag. They have just a bit more structure than most packable backpacks.
Great review, have the lite back pack, thinking purchase the lite ready, just wondering external pocket when filled would sag it down, still thinking 20 liter hold more, not to sure to purchase the lite ready pack
The ready pocket does sag inwards if the main compartment is empty yeah. The daypack has a nicer silhouette because it keeps all the stuff in the main compartment.
I think the lite daypack because its more traditionally shaped, the lite ready is a bit more rounded overall and can look lumpy if you put a lot into the top pocket
Yea, bellroy recently uploaded a video on how they recommend washing that exact fabric. Basically dont put it in the washing machine, you get a towel and dip it in soapy water and wipe down any dirty parts and then hang dry in the shade
Thank you for the suggestion, I'll try to make a short of that that and upload it. I think I would just put it in the back of a bigger bag flat, I dont think I'd roll it in that case.
Wondering: 1. Which size laptop can fit the water bladder pouch/ or generally in the bag? 2.If there are packable light backpacks that do block rain for longer time.... [the Osprey ones might do, but they seem like a big nylon bag, zero cushioning to support what you store inside]
I'm not sure maybe 12/13" laptop but I didnt try to confirm. While neither bag is waterproof they are very lightly mildly water resistant just not for heavy constant rainfall
@@PackingLess Yes the white one. Especially "the first" cross version - they have a new fabric now (squares) wonder if it stains as bad. it's so bad. it's not worth the money honestly.

Just watched a bunch of your videos. I enjoy your EDC content. I also enjoy your tone and style of delivery. It's almost like ASMR! Very soothing.
Thank you so much!

I agree they do both look great, and both have features that make them great to use, I'd be hard pressed to choose one over the other

Which has a better fix shape if I don’t have a lot stuff to hold up?

I wanna buy that white one, but can i wash it? Thanks for review!

I don’t suggest using those loops with the weight of a fully loaded pack; they’re going to fail.
Great video! Super helpful.Thanks!
Very useful thank you!🙏
I would have liked to have seen how they look packed flat like they would be in someone's luggage.

No one is talking about how easily this fabric stains.
The white one? Yeah I have started to notice a few small spots on my lite sling which I'll mention in an 'update' review

I love stains. I consider it a patina!
@@CarryQuandaries it looks like sweat stains. it's not patina.
