I own their smaller "Lite" series slings & duffel.... It makes sense that their backpacks would be cool too! Nice.
Love love love that color that burnt sienna I think. It has a great shape and great options it looks like. I own mystery ranch, goruck, eberlestock, tactical tailor, kifaru etc etc.my point is I love rugged tactical and tough bags. But this pack looks special. It just looks right I love the fabric I can see in ur video. Reminds me of Xpac material. Thankyou amazing looking pack.

I ran right out and bought this pack after seeing this video. Same color etc. I’m a smaller guy so hopefully it fits ok, but I’ve been using an Alpha OneNiner Evade 1.5 full for over a year for edc and my personal item when I travel but the weight of it is a lot. It’s tough as nails but if I can save a few pounds without giving up the features, it’s worth a shot.
The light weight of this and the unconventional organization stuff looks really useful but I guess we’ll see in a day or two when it gets here.

Very nice video ! I'm looping for Thatcher kind of bag for my everyday but, I have to deal with a gaming laptop from gigabyte as working laptop and my iPad pro 12.9 with his magic keyboard. So there is some room for bulkier laptop and tablet ?
I like brain type pockets, I find them more useful than the vertical pockets that seem to be on a lot of edc type bags.

Perfect timing! I've been looking at this bag...and will probably buy it. However, my biggest negative is there is no luggage strap! I love EDC packs but I also use them for my carryon. I think their 30L has it and there's no reason this one couldn't. It just a piece of webbing and there is space for it. Great review...thanks!
Yeah its weird the reluctance for some of these brands to include it, its not like they are ultra minimal packs where every gram counts. You would think it opens up a lot more sales from prospective customers who have the luggage pass through as a criteria vs users that actively would not buy a bag that includes it.
Great review! Thanks for doing it. So I had the earliest version of the Dragonfly and I recalled your review on that. My Dragonfly quite unintentionally went away and trying to figure out between this pack and playing the Wednesday cross my fingers to get a new Dragonfly. Which pack do you like better between this pack and the Dragonfly?
Bellroy shoulder straps are their main weakness. Maybe if Bellroy and Able carry had a baby. A separate entry to the laptop would be great also. But can’t win them all I guess
Really like Bellroy's material but just can't convince myself to buy one because of the weird design choices. For example, swinging keys in phone compartment? Also, what you will have to do to just get to a pack of tissue? They just don't know how people actually USE backpack. The only outstanding thing about their bags is the material.

Kind of funny that you say this bag is not meant for outdoor activities. Isn’t that how it’s marketed? It is the “venture ready” after all. Though I’ve heard it’s not even very water resistant either.
Great Review! Would you choose this the MR Rip Ruck 32, MR Catalyst 26 or Eberlestock Switchblade (what i currently got, but can still exchange) for everyday use? I carry a laptop, tablet, chargers, rain coat, sweater, and random small miscellaneous stuff.
What watch is that? Gorgeous. Kind of looks like a Casio ProTrek but I'm not sure...

Goruck is my standard for straps. Better to be overbuilt than under built.

On first impression these have aquaguard, so it was surprising to see that it's implied rain resistance was a farce (compared to another test with Evergoods that did much better even without aquaguard). Add that to the bucket of bellroy blunders I guess.
