I recently purchased a clear mask and am hoping it’ll inspire others I meet or see in public to get one and wear them.

This is a good video. Hearing people must know the importance of communication. It is very hard for deaf people that they are not able to understand the words without see the lip-reading. The sound frequency seems tight and compress depend on distance, speech and especially the silent letters.

Hi! Just a little tip to stop your clear panel from steaming up - rub a bar of dry, unperfumed soap on it, leave it aside for a while then wipe of the excess. That should stop it from steaming up at least for a short period of time anyway. You could also use anything else that was waxy and non-toxic. Hope that helps! Xxxx
The confused face of Jasmine is like my 90% daily life when I meet people. Man I felt that. I had a doc's appointment with a new doc and he had read my journal! (many doesnt!) He didn't call me up. ? What about the difference between utilizing the masks but along with ASL - facial expressions and body language are such a symbiotic element to the delivery of meaning/ interpretation - but how truly is it effected by a face mask whole or partial? As a hearing person I find that even if my clients are not wearing a mask I seem to be distracted by my own mask that it affects my ability to hear and communicate well with them.
I would like to ask you the question. where did the box of lipreading facemask from ? pls type this below comment thank .I am deaf too. I am very good lipreading for a long time.
I am a hearing person but my hearing isn’t as clear as everyone else. I lip read without even knowing. People always ask me why I’m staring at there lips and it’s because I’m lip reading whilst trying to listen because if I don’t look at them I struggle to hear what they say
I have been hard of hearing since I was 2, today I'm 68. I too look at peoples lips when I talk to them. Now that we have to wear masks I don't hear as well.
You’re Brittish and speak BSL? I’m trying to get less confused and stop mixning up different sign languages, so I want to know. The BSL alphabet is the only tell-tale I got, because its so different from the sign languages I recognize or know parts of.
Even as a hearing person I lip read. I have concentration problems and lip reading helps me concentrate on the conversation.
I always have subtitles on while watching a movie. Even if its in my native language.

Oh wow she bsl I think I'm asl glad she add cc
I am able to hear fine but I am interested to learn sign I mastered the alphabet what should I try next
I’m so sorry if this comes out sounding rude. But a great idea would be to add subtitles so that hearing people can also learn from your videos! I know some of u hearing peeps probs k ow some sign but I unfortunately don’t know any, but maybe with the subtitles it could teach me some! Thanks xx I hope you have all had a great day or will have a great day ❤️😂🥰
Omgggg never mind I just checked to see if the subtitles would work and they do! Love u guys

@@isamash112 sign supported english - signs but with same grammar as spoken english
@@chloelouise7123 oh ok thanks. All along I though that ball had the same grammar as spoken English
I think dependant on who she is with she signs B.S.L or S.S.E. I think she uses S.S.E. with her hearing friend. I might be wrong x
Hey jaz! Wondering where u got your clear mask from?! Looking to by some but struggling to fins good ones that’s are breathable and don’t steam up!!
I got mine from a friend of mine, her mum is making clear face-masks! There are lots of clear face-mask choices on Amazon and Esty!
I was thinking if there's existed like 4 days ago and I thought it would be really uncomfortable somehow
Where can I get a clear mask from? X
I would like to ask you the question. where did the box of lipreading facemask from ? pls type this below comment thank .I am deaf too. I am very good lipreading for a long time.
I am a hearing person but my hearing isn’t as clear as everyone else. I lip read without even knowing. People always ask me why I’m staring at there lips and it’s because I’m lip reading whilst trying to listen because if I don’t look at them I struggle to hear what they say
totally random but i like your nails
I have been hard of hearing since I was 2, today I'm 68. I too look at peoples lips when I talk to them. Now that we have to wear masks I don't hear as well.
Do mask interfere with ASL and BSL too? I'm starting to learn how to modify meaning in ASL with lip movements.
Can’t see your mouth so ya
protip from an american interpreter: put a very thin layer of soap on the clear plastic facemask. prevents it from fogging up!
Are those clear face masks from amazon?
Uou did a great job going verbal when you said its true
If you are wearing a clear mask doesn't it steam up or do you have to take it off to sign x
I only have one ear that works and I cant even tell what she was saying in in de black mask as i highly relie on lip reading
I love u sm i feel bad for u i wanna learn sign language to coummuniate to u🧡🧡
Hola! Soy de Argentina y acá ni siquiera vi que vendan de esos :(
I lip read a lot like all the time and uses sign language too
You’re Brittish and speak BSL? I’m trying to get less confused and stop mixning up different sign languages, so I want to know. The BSL alphabet is the only tell-tale I got, because its so different from the sign languages I recognize or know parts of.
Yes becouse BSL stands for british sign language
now my only question is are the clear masks as safe or even safer than the pure cloth masks
It’s hard for me to lip read - even tho I’m hearing . Like I remember my friend be mouthing sumn and I be like what ? Huh ? & etc 😆
