- The much hyped (over hyped?) blizzard is finally here ! Woke up to about a foot of snow, waist high drifts, a mostly white out road conditions.

That snowblower is a BOSS! Completely covered and it started right up, ready to get the job done! I love the Eastern Sierras and I love watching your winter vlogs. That wind looked pretty brutal today. Down here in SoCal, it’s been raining most of the day, but our mountains are getting hit with wind, rain and snow. The Big Bear eagles have been hanging on for dear life today! Hope you guys stay safe and warm up there at Mammoth. Looking forward to getting up there again soon. Keep your videos coming! 😊

I skipped watching the news, went straight to your channel to see how it was up there.
We got down from the SoCal mtns from a multiday school fieldtrip camp. Beat the weather. They didn't get anything there but a dusting of snow, but the wind chill would have been very tough for the kids.
Hardest part for me was not being able to pack appropriately - no boots, no rain gear, no heavy coats. Utterly stupid what they let us pack. Busses didn't have the space for the appropriate clothing. What if we'd been stuck up on the mountain due to winds being too high for the busses? We missed those winds by mere hours. Overall though it was a fun trip for the kids and they learned a lot. No one got hurt and it was terrific for them.
I can't wait to get back to there, but with my trailer loaded with the appropriate gear & spare prep. For the school trip they said pack 3 tshirts, sneakers & a jacket. In winter!! 😂
Absolutely love your snowblowers' setups!! It's great to have a solid plan in place. Experience and a plan makes life so much easier. Having the right dog breed for your weather is also a biggie. Your dog is well loved and so happy! That warms the heart to see!! ❤
Looks like your grill is in a rented building? That flat roof is a big bummer. Hope this channel builds your business so you can build your own place with a much better snow roof to keep clear easier. I watched with the sound off today, not sure if you mentioned that in your video.
Your place is definitely on our must-do list whenever we finally get over to Tahoe. This summer it's straight up from SoCal to camping on Oregon & Washington coasts. Chilly, foggy, wet is where we're headed all summer! Once we don't have kids at home, we'll stay out fulltime for a few years, and hit Tahoe, national parks, and East Coast. I hear there is a decent Thousand Trails in Tahoe? We'll have to hit your area off-season. Hope you are having weekend shows for locals during those slow times. I used to live in a east coast ski town, so I know what it's like - off-season is when the locals get their vacations and projects done. We've got 4-5 years before we go fulltime. Can't wait for us to be your regulars for a spell 😊

I like wrapping my snowblower in a tarp.. but I didn’t have to this year .. we here in NJ got worthless snow this season ..
not to rub it in but we got 14 inches for the whole season so far and it's a spring like day in NJ today. Be safe and good luck.
Roomba needs to make a robot snow blower that just keeps going all night unassisted. you wake up next morning to all the streets and driveway cleared from the blizzard!!!
