In Alberta we are celebrating a good spring soak, with multiple rounds of snow and now rain with alpine snow. We are one step below state of drought emergency so for us it is joyful.
😮 Wow! Our weather in California has been crazy this year! I love the Sierras and Mammoth Mtn. ! I'm down in San Diego and it's been the wettest I can remember in a long time. Still not getting much above 80F, but I won't complain, it's better than the really hot weather to likely come. I love the beach, and Lake Tahoe too! Looking forward to seeing some hiking and fishing! Keep Them coming please! Thanks for the update 😀 I'll spread the word to those who love to ski and tell them to drop by your restaurant!! 🍕 😋 ❤

In my area, it seems things are happening about a month later than what was normal so the season ends about a month later and I think it is going to stay that way. The calendar will be off from now on unless they correct it.
That was crazy, there was no sign of snow by 11:30am from 395 to Schatt's bakery on Monday morning when I stopped there, I completely forgot it happened.

What are your summer tires? I run Michelin M+S on my Tundra and they are awesome in the rain, great traction and work well when we do get snow in nashville, we dont get alot of snow but what we do get, freezes overnight and becomes ice, and that is when I start pulling my neighbors up to the top of the subdivision so they can go to work. I also act as "Sled Lift Operator" as I take the kids from the bottom main street hill and then back to the top
I'm curious how it feels to live on top of a volcano? They always call it a mountain but you're under a caldera that's about 20 mi wide. Do you feel earthquakes or experience any kind of geothermal things?
Having been there many times and used to go to hot creek, you just get used to it. Truth is, if the caldera blows, you won't have time to think about it and it'll devastate half the west coast. I'll take living there over tornado or hurricane alley any day. I live on the other side, in Carson City. We DID get some snow from what got over the mountains, thought we were done for the year. Now if it snows in JULY... we got some REAL problems!! 🤔😅

We got the snow yesterday too it was 55 *F before now we have melted snow
