@wsnxumalo6707 oh really? Cool

@ysitrim88 Thank you Brother!
I did not mention in Part 1 that if the 2 switch contacts are flat and you bend the one lever, then that contact is no longer parallel with the other contact and the 2 surfaces do not touch with as much surface area as possible. In this case no problem but in high amp use areas, the smaller contact area will heat up and burn up quicker and the smaller surface area will carry less current within a range of comfort, something to think about when modifying a set of switch points. Now you have another set of useable switch points for the future, maybe the larger assy can be used if a plastic lock lever part breaks which also happens sometimes when the owner tries too hard to release the lock manually, or the solenoid goes bad from spilling coffee. GOOD CALL installing the low milage part. cheers.
@DuaneDonaldson Thanks for your input my friend!

@martinarrieta248 My Pleasure my Friend!
where can I get the part or what is it called, thank you very much for your video bro 🫡
@abelhernandez7261 I got mine from our local junkyard, I believe it's called a shifter release switch
The old switch might have been exposed to some liquids, in the first video it looked like soda had been spilled into the shifter area thanks to the cupholders
@notsureigaf oh yeah! that could be the cause!
😊
@alanjackson4397 Thank you Sir!
What is the switch called?
@FirstnameLastname-vi7hm I believe it's called shifter position switch
