      Haha, it's rare to see people liking cool colours especially winter colours. Getting used to wear warm colours is probably the reason why you think you have warm undertone. After all, there are more warm makeup colours than cool ones in stores. Thanks to the rise of Kpop I think, people are starting to like cool colours nowadays because Kpop styles are using mostly cool colours. The best way to practice using your colours I think is to find some celebrities that are using your colours too for their style. I'm a winter and I actually had a hard time accepting my colours before. To help myself with it, I brainwashed myself with watching Itzy and Blackpink music videos, Seo Yeji style in It's Okay not to be Okay drama, Kim Jae Wook styles, and many more 😂, coz they used winter colours. I have more confidence in using winter colours nowadays because of these inspirations.

    I also fell into the trap of autumn season 😂. In hindsight, I think I was actually basing that on my personality and preference than the actual visual effect of the colors. I believed so through high school. I didn't even wear lippies then so i focused on the colors of my clothes. Now I'm in college and I've already experimented a lot. I've found that dark colors really wash me out or make my skin look a dull, even on a good skin day. But I seem to just be glowing with lighter and brighter (but not too bright) colors. I think I'm a spring. Those seem to be more harmonious with my skin.

    • @itskrystle
      @itskrystle  Рік тому +2

      can we call it the autumn trap? 😅 thank you for sharing, that is so informative!!
      i've personally kind of stayed away from colours (except purple) based on personal preference. but now i am slightly more keen on trying it out!

    • @sincerelyv8264
      @sincerelyv8264 Рік тому +2

      I do think it's a trap!! 😂 An easy trap for us that's not light-skinned. 😅 I feel like I know too many people who say they're autumn when we clearly have differences. "Hold on, we can't all be autumn now???" 😅🤣
      I didn't even notice it but as far as your videos/thumbnails omg you HAVE stayed away from colors. 😲 How eye-opening this must've been for you. 🤣😂🙈 You have to follow this video up with a trying-out-colors thing 🙈🙈 but either way I'm excited to see what you do next! ^^ 💖

    I wore mostly Autumn colors for years, too! Then I found out I’m a Spring. I feel your pain. Lol. However, finding out my best colors has been like magic! I wish I had known about color analysis sooner, but better late than never! At least I am still warm toned, so I look sort of OK in my old Autumn clothes. I was so relieved to find that all my favorite colors to wear: olive 🫒 green, dark red 🥀 mustard 🐡, teal 🩱,dark brown 🐻, rust 🌰, dark salmon 🍣 and pumpkin 🥮🎃…all have a lighter, brighter version in my Spring palette! I love these colors even more, now (in order): light yellow-green 🥝, tomato 🍅 and watermelon 🍉 reds, butter 🧈, aqua 🩵, light brown 🐕, light reddish brown 🐈, coral 🪸, peach 🍑 and light orange 🔶🐹. If I had to switch to Summer, that would be harder, so I’m counting my blessings. I do not envy your task of finding all new colors. Still, it is better to know. You look lovely in your Summer colors!

    Greetings from America (Texas to be exact). One thing I am noticing when I watch these color analysis videos is that people's fav colors tend to be in their season, so it like they unconsciously know what looks good on them lol. Like I think pastels (especially cooler pastels) or muted colors tend to look better on me so I wouldn't be surprise if I was a summer, but I definitely be open to anything since I love color as a rule. I hope one day to get mine done also, but it's pricier where I am, I think because the sessions are longer (like they're 3 hours here).
    I am amazed they had a device that decided if you're warm or cool! I never seen anything like it! I swear countries like South Korea and Japan has so many technological advancements it makes my country look like it's in the Stone Age lol.

    • @itskrystle
      @itskrystle  Рік тому +3

      3 hours sound really long! it must be quite an indepth analysis 😯
      at the end of the day, we should wear whatever we like! these personal colour analysis things are like those fun quizzes in magazines, it's fun and nice to find out!

      Yes! The Dressika app correctly decided I was Warm-Neutral, but you have to look up articles on taking accurate photos for digital analysis. I ignored the requests for payment and got a personalized palette that just about matched the one I paid an expert for, eventually. I would avoid the Colorwise me tool…a lot of people complain that it types almost everyone as cool. It did that to me and I’ve seen other’s’ receipts. I agree that the tech in this video seems far beyond what we have, in the U.S.!

      @@sciencenotstigma9534I've used Colorwise me several times - uploaded diff pics. Most results came out cool (DW) but there was 1 which came out warm (DA). I felt that the DA was more correct since the cool colors in DW washed me out. After watching several vids & self draping, I've typed myself as a warm autumn (but can wear some DA too).

(I already had one in Kyoto and I'm a True/Cool Summer with Cool Winter as a secondary season. Cocory seems to use a slightly different chart and color arrangement, so I want to see if my prediction is correct! XD lol)

      Yeah, true! Someone can have Rosacea but be warm tone. I'm cool toned. I had a personal color analysis in Kyoto as Cocory were booked before I could leave Japan. Anyway, turns out I'm a "Cool/True Summer" with "Cool Winter" as a second season. However, it seems like Cocory has a slightly different color naming system with a slightly different color range. I still want to get an analysis with them and if possible with this consultant. I wonder what her name is...

    • @sciencenotstigma9534
      @sciencenotstigma9534 Рік тому

      Right? I’m Native American and European-descent and I used to wear mostly Autumn colors, before I found out I’m a Light Spring. Fall colors are just so pretty! Of course, they say Native Americans once crossed the Bering Strait, to get here, but it’s a subject of great controversy! I do see some similarly to East Asians, in some indigenous peoples, in the U.S., and some are getting Mongolian origin results, on our ancestry DNA tests, though it could be a flaw in the test methodology. One DNA test said my mom’s European side was Irish, but another test said we are Swedish. My grandma spoke Swedish, so I doubt she was Irish. Lol. I feel so validated by any means of finding out about my unique genetic makeup and color analysis is definitely one of them. I love how individualized the results are, with a good color analysis. Some people are so many combinations of seasons and/or subtypes, whereas others fit neatly in one season. I like how the Korean system is able to determine that people of color can be any season. In U.S. systems, most brown people get sorted into Dark Autumn or Dark Winter. The creator of this video glows, in her Summer colors!
