She was my brother divs 2nd RDC when I went and was a 2nd class. she was awesome, not even my RDC but she always went out of her way to help us if she could.
My granddaughter is graduating Boot Camp this morning. She is in division 351. Unfortunately I was unable to go with her grandpa and her mom, but luckily, I will be able to watch it from here.USAUSAUSA
RTC Orlando 1978. I do remember the scorching heat and humidity in August. CCs offered us salt tablets to compensate for the salt loss from sweating. Ice cream tasted good at lunch time.
My son is having problems in his swimming in navy bootcamp.. And he wants to quit.. Hes frustrated ..he passes everything else except the swimming they moved him to another division cause he got pink eye and an ear infection.. So make it worse.hes depressed.. Will he still graduate?. He was to graduate on the 16th of September but got pushed bak Can anyone tell me what to tell him for him to feel better?. He wants to know if he will ever graduate.
Tell him to keep going many people struggle it’s not just him, tell him a warrior never gives up and that u raise a warrior and u know he has it in him. I graduate August 2022 so most likely I was there at the same time with him. Also if your son religious tell him to go to the Sunday service, for me my service was the Protestant service and it gave me strength every time I would go. Good Luck
Ngl, boot camp in general has become more “relaxed”. That’s not the right word I was looking for obv, but they took away all the yelling parts mostly. The marines are the only branch that actually have “boot camp” but it’s more that they combine all the stuff from both Navy and Army boot camp into their own.
Some will be war fighters Some will be desk jockeys All however contribute to the mission It may take 5+ support staff to support 1 war fighter as you say it at sea so you contribute and are important no matter what your rate
What I find sad is with the new uniforms, sailors don't look like sailors anymore. Can't tell them from a marine. My ship's reunion association toured Norfolk Naval base a couple of years ago and I didn't see one set of dress blues or whites. Only camouflage . US Navy 1964-1968
You probably didn't see any dress blues or whites because there weren't any ceremonies going on. We only wear those for those occasions or if you're on a color guard on base.
@@kaijudude_I was talking about in general. I still prefer the dungarees and white hat or blue ball cap for the work uniform. They just looked Navy. I don't like the khaki service uniforms either. They all look Marine. And I'm not crazy about the the new white jumper with the piping. But then I'm old school Navy I guess. Back in the days of wooden ships and iron men. 😁😁😁

EN1 is currently on my ship in Norfolk. LOVE HER!!!
I always wondered what happened to her.
I'm an EM3 and hopefully becoming EM2 in July. She's an inspiration for me as a fellow EM. I want to become an RDC one day like her.
Lol tagouts
@@matthewtenorioduenas202 Worst thing I hate about being an EM. Our audit sheet is 14 pages, but that's cuz we're in the yards.
I won't say how I know her. I'll just say that she's a badass!
Proud to say she was my 2nd RDC. Hooyah 337
Hooyah 337!!
RDC sacrifice the most honestly. They're always there from the mornings to the night.

1:51 the RDC she’s talking to was my 2nd RDC. DC1 Gonzalez. Great guy
It’s too bad she’s not going to be there when I go. She seems awesome.
What a cool RDC❤
That's my RDC!

Tell him to talk to a Chaplain if he wants too. Best wishes.
828 is a Special Warfare division.
Yeah, they stopped making 800 divs a while back though.
Instructor…. Schmuckatelli!

Do RDCs not scream at recruits ?
She really quote Yoda? I like it!
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks like a fun summer camp? When do they get to Boot Camp?

@Based_Blue96 I believe the Navy calls it boot camp at least according to the PO in the video. The Army calls it basic training. What's your point?
@@timf2279 boot camp is the generic term used by anybody. It’s still called basic training more professionally, that’s regardless of the branch.
Can a reservist become an RDC?
If you meet the requirements (E-5, Warfare pin), you can be placed on Active Duty.
Look on Zipserve. They are always looking for RDC's Don't apply on Zipserve though. The instructions are in the posting.
@@zachjones6944I’ve seen RDC’s with no warfare pin. Not every platform has them.

Hey now. Navy looks puke green while marines look poo green.
