Thanks for bringing me back to MK watch safari through watching your channel. It's not easy to find such a place selling so many 2nd hand watches in EU/UK...
Just to clarify, is the watch shops that are the weirdos. Is less than 10 yrs ago where the watch shops starting to take over this mall. Before then, this mall is known for toys and air rifles for a long time (at least as long as I remember). Back in the day not many people walk around this side of MK as that's where all the funeral shops are as is right opposite the hospital. My parents actually lives upstairs from this mall for the last 13 yrs. I still remember it was my dad's friend who opened one of the first watch shop there, the one you walked passed London watches which is now on a different location in the mall due to rent increase.
waking up 0400 here in the hague, way too early. And after some exercise and being bored this pops up in my yt. Very relaxing before heading out to work ❤
Another Rolex doesn't hurt ;) This never gets old 💯💯💯. Keep it coming‼️‼️‼️This never gets old 💯💯💯. Keep it coming‼️‼️‼️This never gets old 💯💯💯. Keep it coming‼️‼️‼️
I really love your watch safaris uptick! Your commentary is the best. Have you ever been to Watchesmiles while on Safari? Any Thoughts? Keep up the good work uptick and remember your morning routine is important!
Great update. Although I think you had a little too much caffeine before this Safari - a little jumpy. That first Rolex - section dial - very unique. Anyone know the red number and yrs of mfg?
@@eyeheartsushi2212 watches, like any luxury good, have little intrinsic value and are only worth what people are willing to pay. And that appears to be not very much at the moment.
Bro, I always wondered how to know if the watches sold in Hk are real and not replicas. Cause close proximity to china and there are many replicas from there
What is a 116900 or 126900 Air King going for in HK? I think I saw a 116900 for $53000 25:11 which seems a lot less than what people are asking here in US.
Hello! I will be in HK this autum. Do you have any tips on shops where I can find cheaper watches like around 10000-15000HKD? Maybe SInn, Hamiltons or maybe Seikos? Thank you!
It’s a buyer’s market right now. Prices are still dropping. These watches shops were once toy models shops, they have now been taken over by rolex watches shops since there are just that many watches being circulated on the market.
Yes. Money printing about to resume and potentially BTC spike after the halving - I expect Rolex (steel sports) grey market prices to start back up. Of course in Mr. Uptick’s region, maybe not - CHN implosion imminent.
@@WestCoastAce27 totally agree. Crypto good after q1 2024. GBTC then exhaust selling. Halvening. Ath early 2025. Then 4 year cycle over. Rinse and repeat
14:56 beautiful IW3713! They’re asking $55k HKD, a bit over $7k USD which is on the higher end. Wonder how much they’re willing to negotiate, let alone ship to the US.
Same as anywhere else. The older the watch the higher the chances to require service. But when it comes to counterfeits, dealers here have the knowledge and you can have any watch checked down to the last screw. New stuff is same same. A lot of stock transits from ADs in Germany for example, selling to their VIPs who sell to intermediaries here and they end up in the dealer windows. I just report. I don't suggest anyone should enable those practices. I have never had any issue other than mechanical breaks which is so common on used watches. That's the main thing you have to account for when buying used.
It's the iPhone mic. Sadly you can't record through the AirPods so I gotta used the cord ones. I try to hold it so it doesn't knock on anything but still this noise keep coming through. I do like how they isolate the outside noise quite well though
I like your channel a lot. However, there is something wrong about the buying experience if you purchased a watch from one of these stores. It’s just not the luxury experience associated with buying a fine timepiece.
It’s astonishing how much inventory they have. I used to be a collector, but I liquidated my collection to venture into real estate. In January, I acquired homes in Malibu for $34 million, and the returns on investment far exceed what I earned as a collector.
How did you grow your portfolio to $34m, I'm impressed, I have a lump sum sitting in the bank, but the interest rates aren't impressive, so I'm considering moving it elsewhere, whats your cash flow like?
I love how the market has changed as of late. Real enthousiast thrive when the prices are down
Thanks I love a walk round the watch shops 👍
I always look forward to the watch safari . It feels like Im there but Im not . Keep up the good work . Regards
J'adore these Hong Kong walk around videos. Merci bien, Uptick!!
Love these HK watch tours❤ you’re about the only watchtuber who regularly do it and with such aplomb👌

C'est dingue de voir autant de modèles exposés en vitrines, pour le plaisir des yeux, c'est cool ;)
It's always a treat seeing your videos. Thanks for taking us along your watch safari!
Great channel. Appreciate your walks and talks! 👍 Very imformative

Resellers with this much inventory must be getting VERY nervous at the moment.

Most probably they mix original and fake
What do you mean nervous.....
It’s been like this forever
Hey Uptick, if you buy from these shops do they include the coffin that the watches are presented in?

Heck yeah Safari time! 🎉
Hi @UptickWatchReviews - do you have a list of shops names per area?
Hi Great video. I am heading to HK this year. How much would you say is a good price for a 2023/24 Sub Date? In good condition with the full set?
Hello! I will be in HK this autum. Do you have any tips on shops where I can find cheaper watches like around 10000-15000HKD? Maybe SInn, Hamiltons or maybe Seikos?
Thank you!
Did you lose anyone during the pandemic? Was just surprised to hear your take on that.
6:24. To answer your question, the difference of price is because the yellow OP is discontinued, not the green
Do you know which store had the 1815 chrono? :)
Always enjoy watch browsing with you in HK. Those watch storefronts wouldn’t last a week in US cities-smash and grabbers 😎! Best regards
Or the UK.
Hi nice Video as always.
Have you come across there the price of Omega Seamaster 300
cal 2500 2012-2016, no wave. Thanks
Question what is the name of the shop where you saw the date just 2. I was interested in blue datejust beside it
The Daniel Roth ❤
That Black quater leather one😮😮😮
The prices looked pretty good converted to USD at current exchange rates. I should look into a trip there.

I got a Rolex fatigue after watching this 😅
Show more tudors please 👍🏻🏴
Where is the exact location of the store? Are they all original? Planning to visit there very soon. Thank you 😊
Would certainly seem the bottom (not that you should try and find the bottom) of the watch (Rolex) market is here! Certainly a good time to buy IMO

Has HK changed the rules for foreign visitors or are we still required to spend 2 weeks in a hotel? I’d like to come back and go shopping.
No restrictions, come and go as you please my friend!
Wonder what the best place in hk to buy 2nd hand watch?
Are the watches priced in HK dollars?

la vue à 17:19 😍
i was wondering, how legit are these shops? Do i run the chance of buying a frankenstein or fake watch from these shops?
Is that price including tax? Do you have to pay tax in HongKong when you buy the watch? If there is a tax, how much is the tax in HongKong? Thx
No taxes here
Yellow OP is discontinued
In your opinion, What is the best country to travel to and pick up a luxury watch for a reasonable price?
I guess a smaller market or one with a less thriving economy or weak currency
In my experience, Malaysia
Is it cheaper in HK than Tokyo to buy Rolex?
Some funny noise in the recording...? Are you chewing something or the camera is hitting something?
I could very easily spend a million £ in an afternoon in HK high street, so much eye candy it hurts watching this lol 😂
Is that Odysseus guaranteed authentic?
Show me a convincing fake Odysseus. That dealer isn't some Nigerian selling watches on the boulevard
@@UptickWatchReviews I assume that's your manner of saying "yes." If so, it may be worth the trip.
Japan or Hong Kong for buying a luxury watch like a Patek - what do you think, Uptick?
Nothing compares to Hong Kong inventory
i can't believe how strong the hong kong dollar to USD! .13 ¢ to $1.00 or am i reading it incorrectly?
1 USD = 7.8 HKD. The HKD is pegged in a 7.75-7.85 band
Is it safe to buy in HK and not cer screwed over?

UK prices are a little cheaper as the UK is falling.
Damn, ur videos r making one dizzy!
No stop on london watch company?
Well I'm. It going to buy a vintage Rolex now so I didn't go inside. Their display window wasn't as exciting as usual
Am i just finding out you're from belgium?
Guilty as charged
what's this "clicking" sound throughout the video?

LA 16750 ❤
You move the camera so fast .it's hard to see what's for sale and the price. SLOW DOWN
How do you know it’s not fake?
6:25. Both 41. Green still available whereas yellow long since discontinued.
Ps. What’s with the clicking sound throughout the vid?
did you hear he insulted airsoft players
All the 1000s of same ole Rolex watches sitting in dealerships begging to be aspired to by us poor hardworking mortals 🤖 ……
I like your channel a lot. However, there is something wrong about the buying experience if you purchased a watch from one of these stores. It’s just not the luxury experience associated with buying a fine timepiece.
Agree. I wouldn’t be 100% trusting of any of these shops to be selling genuine watches. AD or nothing imho.
You live a sheltered life.
@@KeepingWatchUKespecially to a foreigner. Too easy to get the good fakes from the mainland and do a switch.
You are buying a watch for the lowest possible price. Who cares about a ‘luxury experience’. 🥱
kermit for $97000?
thanks....just one question: WTF is a Hong Kong?
Great video👍👍 Any brand new Rolex Pepsi jubilee ?? Thank
no doubt that china is the richest country in the world
French accent in English 😅😅😅
Panerari no market value 😅😅😅😅

I have a financial advisor (trader) she grows my liquid assets and I reinvest the weekly payouts back into real estate and long-term ETFs.
Great move, please can you share her with me, or maybe her name so I could search for her online, thanks
Cathy Jemar Carlone look her up.
