LIVE VERSION! George Thorogood - One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer | Reaction
The LFR Family, LLC.
~Tapping into Your Potential Where Others Saw None~
George Thorogood released this song in 1977. Eminem was 5. I think you have the influences backwards.
Yeah, Thorogood is much older than MM...
Can’t believe some commenters didn’t like this performance?! It was great fun and how he can change the lyrics on the fly like that impromptu is impressive. The album version of course is the best but if you can’t admit how fun this was - George jamming with a friend. I dunno - do you even enjoy music ?
This song was written in 1953 by Amos Milburn. This style of music was created in the 50's so rap is actually simply a rebirth of a style of Blues. Look to B.B. King, Muddy Waters and Johnny lee Hooker from the 50's and 60's to see where "bars" came from.
Man, George left out the best verse. About his friend “being funny too”
LFR... Pimpin smh “Eminem probably helped him write this rhyme”
Señor GEORGE THOROGOOD helped EMINEM write that or those “Rhymes”. Ol’ Georgie was before Em. Haha but I respect the reaction..
This song was written in 1953 before Eminem was even a thought.
I used to think this song was cool until I became a landlord
Thats what you use to play "Slide guitar." The guitar player slides that thing up and down the neck of the guitar, and you get that "sound."
This song was written in 1953, betting MM had nothing to do with writing any of the lyrics
Written by John Lee Hooker.
This song was written before Eminem was born. WTF.
It's a slide on his finger.
Love watching your reactions man. About to head to the LQ for my favorite Bourbon, Jim Beam and a Modelo. Not a fan of scotch except the ones I cant afford. Lol. All love for our Veterans and especially on this day, Those who gave the Ultimate sacrifice. God Bless America and I mean ALL OF AMERICA...
Of course George is "rappin." And, he's great at it.
Not a fan of beer!!!?? UNSUBSCRIBED!!!! Haha, just kidding….
This is a great song, he really played it differently but it’s still really great.
Still a great story song after all these years. Thanks for doing this! George has some great stuff. Check out some more!
The thing on that guy's finger is a bottle neck slide, albeit a metal one. They started out being made from the neck of glass beer bottles
Except on at least several occasions Jimi Hendrix used his lighter. Gotta' love Jimi!
@@nancy-su9zk or his mic stand
This song is older than MM. Love George but this version is not great. He's got to be drunk. 😂 Btw it's awesome watching the truth dawn in your eyes.
I absolutely love this song but this version annoyed the hell out of me all the way to the end. Almost ruined it for me and was hardly recognizable imo. I immediately had to go listen to the album version after hearing this one.
Also please try Four Roses Bourbon 🥃 Solid solid fucking bourbon. If you enjoy new things Four Roses is thy Bourbon
Are you canadian?
😆 🤣 more like m&m's grandfather.
George was popular in Newark, delaware before fame. Newark is the University of Delaware and my grandmother lived her entire life there. Many people would rent 1/2 the house out or just a room out to college kids. (which my grandmother did). Also in Newark there is an old landmark business which my ancestors frequented too many times to mention. It was called The Deerpark. Everytime I hear this song I think about main street and the Deerpark.
That gadget on his finger is called a guitar slide its how he makes that sound hes getting.. seen George live ❤🇦🇺 freakin wicked.
Love George's snakeskin jacket.
Minni the Moocher by Cab Calloway
Elvin is a Bishop of Blues. You really want to see some guitar playin? There is a country Guitarist who was featured in Hee Haw. Roy Clark is probably the best Picker that ever lived. Faster than anyone alive today or ever. Check him out.
That’s called slide on his finger.
He opened for the Rolling Stones American tour a few years ago. He's still active
What was you looking at instead of video? you lookin at then nakie pic? LMAO....love ya Van
