I’ll never really understand why owners won’t take reasonable offers in situations like that. And much of it may be left to rot further or end up crushed. 😢
It's crazy that they want to price the junk cars for what their "potential" value is for a restored car!
Sadly almost all of the Opal, Fiat, Triumph, Peugeot cars are just scrap value only! Maybe if they have a solid body someone can restomod them... Because where are you going to find body panels?!
I've lived all over this country; from Philadelphia to San Diego; from LA to Orlando. That also includes a long stint in Okla-by-gawd-homa. I've noticed this phenomenon more in Oklahoma than anywhere else in the country: that thing you're selling isn't worth squat, but what I'm selling is worth millions of dollars.
It is prevalent in other places; it's just especially bad in Oklahoma. It's a wonder any actual commerce between individuals takes place in that state.
And hold on to crap until it rots away? I guess it's part of that phenomenon, but damn!
@@tetedur377 It's just as bad here in tn but usually its the old I dont wanna sell it bs while it rots
Yeah there were a couple I saw maybe worth restoring, but most were only crusher-worthy ($75 - $150 for the steel maybe?). Some people just have an unrealistic idea of what rusted out and smashed field cars are worth... 🤷♂
@@nou8257 Same here in Washington State
That red Mercedes was in pretty good shape. Going to that yard must have been like going to the animal shelter and knowing you can't take all the dogs home.
Man that skyliner is a rare bird. A lot of good finds!!
"Having a sore ass won't finish your project"😂
That 1958 Ford Skyliner is a “Hardtop Convertible” and looks quite complete. Might be one of the most valuable of the “fixer uppers” you encountered. Thanks for taking us on this adventure, Puddin!
The car at 40:00 is a Peugeot, the logo is a lion. The Kadett was made by Opel and sold at Buick dealers in the 60s & 70s. The Capri was a European Ford but was sold as a Mercury in the 70s.
Do what you have to do for you and your family us loyal fans will stick by no matter what.
I agree
That white Plymouth deserves more comments and a closer look. Mopar stuff sells dear
Those Capri's are highly sought after. Would be worth pulling and flipping if you had the space. They had Capri's on the Fox body platform too. I recovered my mom's 1980 RS and flipped it after a quick restoration.
nearly priceless in australia now
Crawling around in there had to be a pain in the butt. Thanks for the tour, Pudd.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. You killed me!
I think in Oz we had Datsun wagons, the 610 was called a 180B and raw 710 was called a 200B. The difference was the engine size.
Save that Citreon DS at 07:15!!!!! That lady “knows what shes got”
The Capri was sold by Ford mostly in the UK and Europe back in the 70's/80's. It was Fords 'sporty' car and the one you saw was an earlier model with later models having different shape and up to a 2.8 injection engine. Quite sought after here in the UK now.
Feel better soon... and a channel helping people find stuff to fix themselves sounds cool.
Not bad, tks for taking us along and meeting Zach
Except for a handful, the cars and trucks are worth their weight. The property is worth whatever it’s going for, less any cleanup cost. She’ll have to wait a very long time to get her price. I wish her luck.
@@douganderson7002 That was my point, just tried to be a little nicer about it 😂. Btw, I meant their weight in scrap metal.
No Mortske video today but BAM here ya are! Enjoyed the yard walk! Get healthy! ❤️👊🙏👍💪🇺🇸
Looking forward to when you do get the wagon done but still enjoy the junkyard content.
Thank you for talking about your experience with hormone replacement therapy. I’m on HRT myself (injection) and I was only able to get right with doing it after someone talked to me about it and helped destigmatize it in my mind. Your authenticity and vulnerability are amazing. Makes me know you are an exceedingly sensitive soul. Peace and be well.
Does slick-fitty know you're cheating on him? 😂
Taking care of my low T was one of the best medical decisions I ever made. So much more energy.
Your old Datsun wagon is the reason I became a fan of the channel . A 1978 Datsun 510 wagon was my first car .
There's some really neat vintage foreign cars out there, at 8:19 and 23:30 there's a Citroen DS! Talk about something you never see in a salvage yard. At 39:36 that's a Peugeot 403 made from 1955 to 1966. Thanks for the tour! Now heal up, there's only supposed to be one crack per butt, it's the law! 😄
Also a Renault 8 or 10, a Opel Kadett and Manta!
That Capri is actually highly sought after.
Drag race build. Short ass wheel base! And already got a hole in the floor for the mansmission! Haha
Put a Barra motor in it Freon Australia easy drag car conversion
We had a 73 Capri when I was little! We had it until the mid 80's.
Hard to find those and Chevy Monzas that weren't torn up by drag guys
here in the UK we had two other capri body styles that ran all the way in to the late 80's 🙏🏻
Hi from France Puddin !
The car with the lion is a Peugeot 403. A french car made between 1955 and 1966. The same as inspector Colombo had. Keep it up and take care yout butt.
that leaf blower trick is genius! I can see you guys doing more stuff together.
I'm a mower guy, and small engines are my hobby/business. I have never even seen a mower like the one at the second property. I would kill to have that thing. Based on the styling, I would guess it is from the 40s or 50s. If the engine is able to be rebuilt, it would be a fun one to do a full restoration on.
We need some Puddin hats like that!
Personally, I love the junkyard videos. You and Ol Slick 50 should have your own channel about junkyard crawls!!
Oh dang!! Mortske is never gonna let this go Puddin
Puddin'! I'm absolutely stunned that you didn't seem to notice the RA29 (1976-77) Toyota Celica Liftback at 48:37 in the video where your buddy was playing with the bicycle (right behind him)! Wonderful little cars. My very first car was a 77 and I loved it so much, I replaced it with a decent 76 when it got tired. They had a 20R (2.2L) carbed 4-banger and a 5spd manual, rear wheel drive. Quite sporty, and had Mustang fastback vibes. Shame she won't sell anything because I'm sure some idiot such as myself, would love to have it. Not myself myself, though- I'm in Canada. Speaking of which... I'm hoping to buy some merch this year! PLEASE?
And remember- sittin' on your ass, is kinda uncomfortable... LOL
Hope the butt-pellets work out for ya! Cheers!
Puddin time!
That '57 F100 is a great find. Bumpers and chrome grille are rare pieces. That was a nice truck back in the day, even has the radio.
Bro I'm a junk yard junkie from Oklahoma too! And because of that these are some of my favorite videos. Take care of your health and wellness my Oklahoma brother! Just keep on doin you bro!
Man, you don't need no rollback. You need a TowRollBack!
This makes my Monday all worth it. Thanks puddin
So I recently bought a yellow 58 Apache step side. Last tagged in 1970. Found it in Guthrie, OK in a field. Found you through searching for restoration videos and now I can't get enough partner. Keep up the content. It's all good fun to watch. This was exciting to see you look that place over.
Man it’s cool seeing these old yards! I remember yards like that all over the place when I was kid. They are getting few and far between. Most of them get crushed back in the day when the properties sell.
Last decent one nearby me was cleared out just a couple years back. It still had tons of awesome stuff, too. couple hundred vehicles all crushed to make way for an encroaching subdivision. Super sad to see the old yards disappearing.
I had an old co worker who's uncle lived in Florida. He had over 300 cars mostly 50-70's American muscle cars and 20 shipping containers of spare parts! When he passed, the family didn't want to deal with anything and sold it all to a salvage yard at scrap steel prices!!!
A lot of them were destroyed when Obama had the “cash for clunkers” program. Down south the economy was (and still is) doing poorly and people crushed a lot of classics to get money to live off of. 🫤
Absolutely love the old back yard junkyard. Thank you for taking us along. I'm sure we are a pain in the butt.
Fiat x19
Jacob, you will start to feel much better as the pellets up your test levels. Your recovery from hard work will start to get shorter. I was on injections at your age and they made me feel great.
That is a ( Y ) block 292 with the wrap around the front exhaust pipe , all of the exhaust goes out of the passenger side manifold ! Great show Puddin !
Been waiting for your video all day it makes my Mondays great
Boy, Zach's Ford is really straight! What a great find! Great video, Puddin'!
Dude, I've had the Testopel tablets installed!! It is not nice. The results are great however, ask your family to watch your mood. You can easily over do it. I was using 15 pellets at a time,(maybe 10 is enough lol) lasted about 5 months. Your American Bogan in Thailand ~TBS (Tom)
You gotta love those old hoarders. They think the junk they hold on to is premium and worth 8x what it is worth, even though it's rotted to the core. Then, they never sell it, die, and someone else has to deal with all their garbage and it gets crushed or sold for less than scrap.
Some folks just don’t want to sell their stuff-I do not relate to this mindset, but whatever-thanks for the outing!
That Capri looks like an English Ford.coveted car in my youth. Sports model ran a V6, normal ran a 4 cylinder. Keep doing what you do as I look forward to your posts every week.
Truly love all your videos! Can't wait to see more of the wagon!
Hope your butt heals fast, stay safe while your out and about. 😊
Can’t believe she won’t at least sell some of them, keep them from just rusting away! 😮
Thanks for the tour 😊
Yes Sir Mr Puddin, Take care, do what the doctor say. it will best in the long run!
Doctors are just people.
Mortske heaven, chock o block field of freebies, and critters for Duff to chase.
Junk yard adventures are fun!!
Hope you are feeling better. Love it when you take us to look at old cars in fields and junk yards. Brings back memories when I started driving over fifty years ago, when most of those cars were on the road.
Hot Damn It's Time For Another One 🤘🤘
It's good to have fun on trips with family memories for a lifetime! Every bodies got take care of there butt once in a while 😊
Please keep us updated on your Bio T....I've been considering it for some time now. Take care and stay safe 😅
It’s the best decision you can make. You’ll feel young again and have energy.
Great look around. People who overprice their stuff are frustrating. Hope she gets her asking price, but I can’t see a quarter of what she wants….
Even at 10K an acre and figuring a decent house, or did he say 2? And literally finding anyone willing to pay extra for a junk yard still puts you in less than half. But like others have said it doesn't seem to uncommon for people to refuse to sell till their dying days.
Your health is number one Puddin! 🙏🙌
Yea, it would be good to see a little Puddin crawling around under the cars on a piece of cardboard. 😁
Lol flexing your butt might shoot out a pellet, you had me rolling in laughter Puddin.
Capri was basically the German Mustang. It was imported and sold through Lincoln-Mercury dealers from 70-78
The Opel Kadette was built by Opel (European GM) and sold in the US through Buick dealers
70 thru 73 made in Germany. US made after that. Mercury Mustang II 74-78.
@Ray Ward 73-78 were built in Germany and imported into the US. The Capri II were just fitted with US engines. It wasn't built in the US and branded as Mercury until 1979 when it was built on the Fox platform.
Mustang 2 had nothing to do with the Capri. Ford was toying with building a Mustang 2 based Mercury Capri, but it was scrapped until the Fox platform debuted.
Until 79 it was a stand alone brand. Lincoln-Mercury-Capri.
Edit: Capri 2 didn't come out until 76. Capri 1: 70-74. There was no Capri in 75. Capri 2: 76-78 .
Mercury Capri: 79-86 then 91-94
Just want to say i received my T-shirt and stickers! The quality is top notch. In my business i always used local printers not big corporations. Your business integrity and choices are appreciated. So happy you and your family had a vacation together. It’s so important to do things the kids love and the wife, and they will never forget the memories. Much love and prayers
I got my BioT pellets last week also. Ive been getting them for about 5 years now. Not fun but man it makes me feel a lot younger when they start working in about 4 weeks.
I’m ready for them to kick in and see if I get my energy back!
I didn't know they did pellets. I've been getting injections for over a year and just swapped a few months ago to self injections. I'm 33 and feel better then I've ever felt.
I need to try out the BioT
@@PuddinsFabShop nice to see you're getting into "pride" month by getting things "injected " back there 😂😂😂
I need some dang energy. How do I go about getting this??
Opel made the Kadett. Opel is also known as Vauxhall in some parts of the world.
Fun in the junk yard!
That early 50s late 40s truck when you we’re talking about starting up a find it Chanel is the truck of my dreams
Good job taking care of yourself Puddin and your family. That’s all that matters. Much love from Akron. By the way, I’m the one who learnt you on Ron. Day. Voo. Love ya. X-19!! Cool car
I love the Datsun wagons. Really would love to see you bring one back to life.
Dang, made us wait five extra minutes!! Well, at least we don't have to be sore asses about it.
Take good care for yourself. There's no replacement you know😊
Monday night and another great video from the puddin man keep them comin puddin
I know how to make old junk happy... You gotta rub on it and talk to it... Sorry Puddin Im stealiin that line LOL 🤣🤣😅😅
At the price quoted, she doesn't want to sell anything!
Cool little walk through, saved yer butt. Whole lotta potential Stuff in that yard. Take care Puddin'
I've never understood why people hoard this stuff.... Obviously she wants to sell the properties, but to most all that stuff is detrimental to the price.
Yeah, that's exactly what I was thinking. There's two types of buyers. One for the land and the other for the cars. Completely divergent buyers. The land buyer looks at the cars as junk that it will cost a lot to clear and get rid of. The car buyer knows the value of some of the vehicles but also knows how much effort it will take to extract them, evaluate them and how long it will take to sell them all. A lot of those carcasses are just too far gone, even for parts.
Yeah... If you're not into cars... All you see is a $30k clean up fee!
I would love to have those Studebakers. I have a soft spot for them because my great grandfather was a Studebaker
❤ 😊 love your videos awesome con tent
I love it Puddin you can show any kind of video and have me laughing so hard 😂
When the time comes to finally let all the vehicles go, an auction company will come in and sell everything for next to nothing. Most of it will go to the scrap guys that will take it straight to the crusher. She'll then think about all the offers she should have taken through the years. Sadly, I see it happen all the time.
She probably just wants one payout and to be done with it rather than focusing on a bunch of auto deals + the land..
I do think in the time she's waiting for the land to sell she could be making some cash here and there til she gets a legit offer on the whole lot.
x1-9 is a Fiat, Opel Kadett Wagon. Mercury Capri was made 70 to 77, Took 2 years off then 79 to 86. The 2nd Gen were Fox Bodies. Looks likw You & Zach had a good Ron Day Voo. Ty for taking us along
I hate Suppositories. They taste like shit.
Should peel them first.
Not for oral purposes 😅
The Capri, Opel and the Fiat 128 Coupé SL @24:52 is highly collectable.
this is what I came here to mention, that 128 Coupe SL is a rare bird, even with holes in the roof, those can be fixed for sure, though if I lost enough brain cells to want to restore a Fiat it would have to be a Strada (Ritmo) because of the round door handles, odd rubber bumpers for the US market, and funky four-hole standard steel wheels
she'll get scrap value for all those vehicles if she's lucky not a nickle more.
Ford capri mk1 we had these in englend , loved them. Wish i could ship that baby home . keep on bringing the Videos.
Hope ya get better butty
It would be awesome to collect ALL the wagons in that yard :) and even the old school jdm cars :)
wishing you a speedy recovery on your pellet butt 🍑
Thanks Puddin, still laughing for all the 'firing from the butt' jokes!! Hope it make you feel a lot better, well once it heals up! You need to take that old lady round her property, as she may not realize what state it is in, there are still some cars worth saving, maybe just maybe you'll get to buy one!
My god I almost had to cover my ears… when you said in your butt I thought you were talking about IN your butthole… at first like that sounded like one hell of a suppository 😮 Now that I’m traumatized, back to the video.
Those old lil mowers once u get em to run they will cut anything they breeze though brush gravel rocks I've even accidentally ground a sump down an inch with one they'll run till the end of time if ya care about em
Some rare stuff in there! Citroën DS, Renault 10, Peugeot 403, two Fiat 128's, Fiat X1/9, two Opel Kadetts, two Opel Manta's, a Audi 90 or 100, Mazda 1800, Datsun 610 wagon and many more!
I can't afford the Bio T but I take the injections and when you get your levels back up it makes a hell of a difference, bro! You didnt have to do a video, but you gave us some content anyway and I appreciate it. Hope you have a speedy recovery!
The car with the lion emblem is a Peugeot. Looks like a 403 model. 1955-1966.
Fairlane 500 Skyliner is a bit of unicorn. Fully auto folding hard top. Look it up!
Good luck getting that roof mechanism working again!
That Opel Manta at 20 :15 !!!!!! How you just walk passed that amazes me.
29:00
That Ford Capri is really awesome ! You must build it all stock! Take those Two Carolla wagons and the Datsun wagon.
There’s some really cool cars and trucks there that are savable, hopefully they actually sell them instead of getting crushed. Get feeling better and take care of yourself.
The Capri was the ride to have back in the 80's when I was growing up.
Ford Capri also came with a 3 lt v6 that everyone wanted, mainly an English ford, we had them in Australia also.1968 till 1986
I bought a 1973 Mercury Capri with a 2.6L V6 brand new. That 2.3l four cylinder was as strong a Ford 2.3 that they ever made. Pre emissions and higher compression. They were built in Germany until the factory burned to the ground.
All the “pellets, my butt” cuts are cinema gold
That green 620 looks just like the company pickup I worked on between 1980-1988. Wish I would have bought it back then.
