You’ve really gotta hold it down tight. Also make sure the car has been driven more than a few miles before trying it. Take a look at my launch control video to make sure you’re doing it right!
elvin johnson follow the steps in the sport plus mode video and then this video. You will be able to unlock launch control. My friends car didn’t have JB4 or any piggyback so it didn’t rocket 🚀 like my 440, but with your dinan sport you should take off pretty fast.
I have an F25 X3. Which code would I use to keep the backlight from changing from white to orange when it gets dark? Also same for the Heads up display when it gets dark.
thats what im wondering. mines is regular in comfort and in sport or to the left its crazy fast shifting so idk if this will do aything. id rather be able to switch
@@jazairi213 When you flick it to the left does it read DS or S1,S2 etc..? If its DS you should code since the difference is so noticeable.. I coded it yesterday and instead of it being smushy when it shifts its a harder kick now
Active automatic transmission, can cause harm to the transmission or not? Because i think a car like 6 series is faster enough when you shifting in sport mode.
I saw that you have the CIC headunit, I do too. Do you know how to code in the Rolls Royce sound set? I know its under 3002 for the NBT head unit but can't seem to find it for the CIC headunit.
It’s under headunit /expert mode/ 3000hmi ( or something like that) and search the word “high” then you will see “high_end_audio.....” and “high_end_audio_ menue” play with those 2 . You are welcome👍
that's weird don't all BMW's come standard with Launch Control? It's even explained how to activate it in the User Manual (in the car idrive). Put into sports + mode, then put it into manual mode. Left foot hard on brake until you see checkered flag on dash, then push right foot on gas all the way and then let go of brake? Is this a different type of launch control or something?

@@ThicWhips Thanks for the replay. That's exactly what I'm doing and S1 gets replaced with M1 on the dash. I'm trying to make a donut starting in M1. The car would spin the wheels and as it hits redline it would go into M2, then M3. Btw, I didn't mention that I only coded sport+ 1 and 2 from another video of yours. I did not code the transmission because I already have S for gear in the dashboard.
My 14' F01 is an Msport with paddle shifters and an the GA8HP70Z trans. When I put it in Sport mode, shifter left in manual, traction control turned off, I don't get any display that indicates "launch control". With foot on brake and accelerator down, it seems like it functions as others have described. My concern is am I just performing a "brake torque" or is this trans designed to handle this function. I'd rather not be damaging my trans. Anybody else have a 750 Msport that has launch control?

Sup people ran into an issue hopefully you guys can help! I picked up the Veepeak BLE and bimmercode last week coded a bunch of stuff! But the real reason I got it was to code in SAT.. I have a Canadian (don’t know if it matters) 328i xdrive sportline...has sport+ already but no SAT (shifter to the left makes the dash show DS instead of S1) ... When I try to access the transmission control unit in bimmercode, I get this message “Error while reading coding data” ... every other menu works fine...only happens for the tranny menu... Bummer code customer service says they don’t know why it’s doing it? Anyone else stumble on it? Should I code this in the old fashion way with computer and all that Jazz?
Love sports trans flash but wish it could be applied in manual mode. It usually revs a bit higher than I would like when cruising. But M mode is so much slower to shift.
I have sport + from factory but no launch control. I've just coded launch control to active but it still doesnt work. Change to sport + and shift gear to S1 and left foot brake and rev it doesnt work? Does it have to be at some temperature to work?
I swear mine feels faster and better in comfort mode after I coded. Also less jerky. Crazy that our cars can be recoded so easily. Btw my car is a 2014 328i m-sport.

Nope. My car (2013 328i) doesn’t have sport+ so no launch control.

Move shift lever to left, you need to be in manual mode..

mine is the opposite, the shifts are quick in S mode but instant in M

Yes. You need to drive at min 6 miles and let the car warm up

Definitely not. If your transmission is slipping there is nothing normal about that
Thic F30 is not exactly a slip i like shot when the gear is changing like boom boom but in comfort mode or just sport more I cannot feel that
If I am putting in sport+ with out sport transmission is shifting smoothly

You need to drive your car (warm it) for about 10-15 km and put your seatbelt in and then you will go with launch control 🚀
