She is the epitome of "Girl Power" -- she proves that your life, your happiness, is not about what someone else does or doesn't do... It's about you and YOUR gift, and putting that first and foremost. Giving to get. Not worrying about what others think or impressing some guy, but rather impressing yourself. Making your dreams happen and changing the world in the process. One of my favorite scenes in a television show ever.

her departure was so grand. it’s one of those moments where you know the character has to leave, you don’t want them to, but either way you’d be so proud of them in the end. i can’t say how many times before watching this episode have i fantasized how her exit would really be like and how proud i would be even if i didn’t want her to leave. she was a fictional character but she’s made such a great impact on everyone and i have no idea what to think if sandra oh had picked a different way and time to plan the exit of cristina yang.

I love how this scene was shot, just us looking down on them dancing. They seem so happy, and almost childlike, as if the only thing that matters in this moment is them, and none of the horrible shit that has happened to them has happened. A very bittersweet ending

I have watched 10 years of television making in a few months and everyone seems to age. But in this video they just seem so young, like the very first season.

We never danced anything out, though, but we held each other's back and stood for each other and defended each other fiercely.
