  • Roundtable on United Nations Security Council Reform | Shifting the Balance: Perspectives on United Nations Security Council Reforms from Global South Think Tanks |
    On Thursday, 1 June 2023, the Permanent Missions of Brazil, India, South Africa, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines hosted a Roundtable on Security Council Reform, with the aim to bring in the perspective of the Global South on the issue of Security Council Reform, keeping in mind the pressing urgency for a reformed multilateralism architecture in the United Nations representative of contemporary geo-political realities.
    Leading think tanks and thought leaders from Brazil, India, and South Africa kickstarted an informal interactive discussion to generate ideas and identify new approaches to take the IGN process forward in a meaningful way.
