- This is Mr. Hugh Waddy, an 83 year old concert pianist who has played at places such as the Carnegie Hall and The Metropolitan Opera House in New York. This is just one of many songs he played recently at a concert at First Baptist Church Jackson, GA.
This was one of my Grandmas favorite songs, she loved to sing this in church before she died.
Now she's singing it the THE church. Be proud.
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful! I would have cried if I was sitting in church listening to this incredibly gifted man!!
Mr. Waddy did a wonderful job playing this great old hymn. Maybe even better then a younger man could. God bless him for serving the Lord for so many years. May his rewards in Heaven be many. He deserves it.
Thank you so much for Hugh Waddy's piano performance. He used to be my piano teacher when he used to play at Full Gospel NY Church, located in Manhattan and Queens, New York. It is wonderful to hear him play and a blessing to have him play for decades. I am glad that he is still vibrant in playing the piano. What a joy!
One of the greatest musicians I've ever met and have had the honor getting to know.
I love it, ecspically the rolling thunder ! And, not leave out you humble bow , giving all the praise to the Most Highest God Almighty
What a blessing to see someone at his age praising the Lord 🙏😁 and wow can he play!!
It the best way to play How Great Thou Art !Praise the Lord ❤

Brilliant man he keep his finger still have power while playing at his age. Amen
Beauty of the elderly. Praise God.
Praise the Lord!
I hope I can still play when i am 83 if I live that long.
찬송가 선율도 연주하시는 모습도 특히 손도 너무 아름다우십니다. 하나님께 영광 돌리시는 모습 감동입니다. Your hands are especially beautiful when you play the hymn melody. It's touching to see you give glory to God.

Nice playing!
😮Bravissimo! ❤
Beautiful!
Wonderful arrangement..The words were written in 1885 as a Swedish poem by pastor Carl Boberg ( after he was caught in a thunder storm) . In 1920's it was translated from Russian by Englishman Stuart K Hine , when he was a missionary in Ukraine.
Reminds me of my brother Jonathan Cooper who plays this on UA-cam too! He travels full time playing by ear it's so crazy! I LOVE PIANO!
