I always draw the eyes first, and if one is uneven, too large/too small but too dark to erase, I just angle the head so that it looks good. It gives me more practice shading, and making the head and body tilt nicely.
I draw excellent hands by drawing the arm and then the fingers before connecting the finger and wrist with a palm. I always make sure to keep the fingers at appropriate lengths and make sure the thumb is on the correct side.
Or people just be like: “Ooh thats a nice drawing!” “Oh thanks!” “I wish I could have talent like you, when I was a kid, I loved drawing, but I don’t know how you do it so easy. Like bruh I’ve drawn this with full confidence but it turns out really bad-” “Bish it ain’t easy, I have tried giving you advice like practise makes perfect but your over here sulking whilst looking at my art work when you can just copy an anime figure for 10 times until it looks right to you, because I know that if I insult your first drawing that you probably ever made then it’ll let your guard down, thats why I keep lying and saying that it looks okay. But do you know what you’ve been doing? Sulking and saying how bad it is. What do you expect? Do you think I just snap my fingers together for perfectly good drawing? My cousin and I were having this discussion and I said that I didn’t really have any pet peeves. I suddenly realized that that was bullshit as I ranted about a million different things that I hate about certain art styles. In my defense, most of the things I hate are because it shows a lack of wanting to get better and has nothing to do with the way the art looks. I really hate for example, when people draw their characters in the same positions or cover one eye or hand just so they don’t have to draw it. I just feel like it shows laziness. If you have trouble drawing hands or eyes, then do it more often!
Or create a new hand and work how to draw different styles. Oh also copying art is a good way to improve and looking at online images is inspiring like drawing a dress out of monster shakes!
@No offense, but Advices should always be constructive and help one achieve something better. There's nothing helpful about someone telling you that you're not an artist because of your preferred medium. Anyone who would say that and call it "advice" is full of shit.
digital art is cool but I don't think I'd ever pay for it I want to put it on my wall and not as a print out 🤔 a lot of it tends to border on anime style too which I don't like much
For most UA-camrs that I watch, their voice sounds depressed at first, and over time, their voice starts to sound more cheerful. Solar is the polar opposite.
You were learning ! But perhaps maybe use the layers (if youre using PS) and set it to Multiply. Just a suggestion tho. Remember to have fun in the process.
>drawing every strand of hair I'm getting flashback of that one time when I was 6 and I tried drawing a really fuzzy dog but it just ended up looking like a demon of sorts because of that... they took me to get my eyes checked and then to the psychologist for that one.
I've seen a lot of hate on TikTok recently towards young artists; I don't know if any of you have heard of it, but a young artist posted a video of their work, and literally thousands of videos popped up of others making fun of the artist for their style. When did it become acceptable to mock others for their styles? It can be incredibly discouraging to young artists who are clearly trying to improve on their skills. Can you imagine how sad that artist is when strangers online straight up bully them for being proud of the work they've done? Artists don't just gain amazing talent overnight. It takes practice, patience and perseverance to learn how to properly use what medium you want to use. So if you see a young artist post pictures of their work; don't mock them for their style, because they're clearly still learning. Don't be the reason that person never picks up a pencil again. Don't be the reason they get discouraged from pursuing their passion.

one thing you could do is just use a pen to draw to prevent you from erasing, it'll help you with your anatomy knowing what you need to work on. drawings dont have to be perfect
Hey! While you cant 'flip the canvas' you can take a picture of the paper scetch and flip the picture. If you need some live feedback you can also use a mirror while drawing! Hope the tips help, good luck drawing bro ✌

I always think my art looks good until I look other peoples art. As soon as I look at another talented persons art all of a sudden my drawing looks terrible
its normal to feel that way, pretty much every artist goes through it. what you should learn though, is that youll get there eventually. barely anyone is actually talented at art, a better word to use is “skilled”. i bet you that they had a bunch of amateur mistakes in their art before they got to that level. youll develop the skill to be a master at art soon, just keep practicing!

@King of The Zinger that's very much true. My main problem is the attitude that some traditional artists have towards digital art.
