They are trying way to hard to be hip lol
How are Costco non members getting to the Food Court without showing a Costco card at the front entrance?
Some costco places have their food courts outside so you can pay in cash
There’s an entrance and exit door. They only check for your card at the entrance and you can walk straight in the exit door to reach the food court that is after the checkout lines. No one monitors for non members entering the exit door to reach the food court. It’s gotten so bad at the location I’m at I have to call ahead to order pizza to pick up or I have to wait nearly an hour if I order when I arrive. Just getting a hotdog and drink takes 20 minutes or more most of the time. Requiring membership cards at the outdoor food courts isn’t going to help the problem with overcrowding at the indoor food courts.
Most of the Costco's in my home state don't check member cards.
It is not inflation yet, it will cause costo to raise prices when they see lost revenue in that area of sales.
If you’re not a member why are you in there? Not like you can walk into Sam’s or BJ,s without a membership for a food court lunch or dinner.
Instacart, doordash, uber eats are some reasons why you might want to use the food court but not have a membership.
It’s $40 a year for a membership. How poor are you?
They haven’t enforced and they are practically a food shelf for the poor so why wouldn’t non members go there to eat. A hobo can panhandle for enough change for all three meals in a day just staining outside a Costco for an hour.
Good. It should be for members. You want to eat there, buy a membership.
Costco needs to raise their food court prices. And kick out members who cancel their membership when they are due at the end of the year. The line to cancel is longer than line to get in. Trying to avoid the yearly dues.
The low prices there are what Costco should realize is part of their advertising budget. How incredibly stupid is their marketing departments strategy?????
As a Costco member I do not like this. Most people who are buying meals from Costco food court are hardworking people like taxi drivers, deliver drivers etc etc.
They just need to pay for the annual $60 membership and enjoy getting the lowest priced pizzas and hotdogs! 60 divided by 12 is only $5 a month.
I’m a hardworking rideshare/package delivery driver I approve of the ban. I can’t even get a seat at the food court being a member for over 9 years since I was 18.
They don't really care, it's for publicity...everybody's money is good 💰💰💰💰
I am surprised this is in the news.
I don’t like this guy.
There's no churros 🤣😂
Why are you fuckin yelling?
The Indian guy trying to sale you a gift card on live tv 📺 and call center😂😂😂
1, i have never bought anything from the costco food court i am a member. they are junk food anyway. i always felt that court is only to attract people for that look.
2, is it just me or the hosts look kinda, high?
We like Joe
They should do what S&R does in the Philippines and make separate food courts that are open to EVERYONE and not just members. It’s wildly successful when S&R tried it-something Costco should consider.
The Costco near me has the open court concept. And it was a complete and utter mess. Food Lines that never ended and not enough food or employees to make the lines go faster. It was chaotic, messy, loud. Now that the new rule was applied, no more loudness, mess and lines go fast. As less demand and now you can find a table to eat.
That's petty
