Finally someone with accurate information. The 720s has a higher top speed and it should start pulling on a 720s above 160 mph pretty easily. But from 50-150 mph, the GSXR 1000 will definitely beat a stock 720s. You hit on such an IMPORTANT point which is the skill level of the rider on a bike. BIKES are SO driver dependent. It can be amazing to see how much faster a good rider is compared to the average Joe or someone that just happens to suck. Drag Racing it's even more important. It takes a very skilled rider to get a stock 1000 cc.bike off the line fast. Most riders bog the launch, roast the clutch, or they can't keep the front wheel down.
I own a 2020 Gsxr 1000, and i loved how this guy said the truth that in mid range it's very hard for a car to beat that kind of a bike. Can't beat the bang for the buck with superbikes. I've had my 2006 GSXR 1000 since new and there is no car I've driven or been in that can replicate the experience a superbike gives. I also agree it takes much more skill to ride a bike fast vs driving a car fast.

Refreshing video! Here’s a tidbit: from the factory, Suzuki restricts the throttle blades after a certain rpm, drastically cutting power. That bike wasn’t allowed to use its whole engine. The car will still win on top end due to the gearing of the bike at the end of the day. Would be very interested in seeing the Gsxr bone stock with just a de restricted ecu just to see how much better it does up until the very end. Smart guy, good video, looking forward to the next one.
The only thing I can say about racing a stock bike is that they are restricted unlike your car. So you are able to pull harder up top getting to those 175-185 speeds. All in all that was a close race! Prefer the BMW but the GSxr isn’t bad either.
As a owner of a 2018 GSXR 1000R I can confirm that as I derestricted my bike myself the bike at 70% throttle to 100% throttle is set from the factory to drop off in power
Excellent video! Agreed with everything you said. There’s another interesting video of bike vs cars from Autocar, with a Ducati (former model, not the V4 S ) vs a 918 Spyder vs a McLaren P1. After the launch, the bike took the lead until about 192 mph when it was overtook. So in fact the 720 S won the second race. No need for a third. But it would be very interesting to watch a race at higher speeds ( up to 200 mph ) against a derestricted bike! 🙏🏻🙏🏻. Oh, more videos! Subscribed!
The new GSXR is down about 30 hp to the S1000 (stock) so this is actually very impressive. All these bikes are restricted from the factory thats why everyone has a flash
Great runs guys! You got him in race 2 no doubt and definitely would love to see a tie breaker man. Just out of curiosity, what speed you reached in race 2? 170mph?
That bike stock is down 20-30hp because the ecu closes the electronic throttle to 68% at 11.8k rpm(rpm might be a little off). I don’t have my laptop available). Above 11k is where the bike really needs that power to push through the wind. I’m not taking anything away from the win. A win is a win regardless of circumstance. A better comparison would be after 3/4 rpm range close your throttle 30%. Then you would feel what the gsxr is having to contend with.

Yeah the 720s won. It pulled up top. I watched a video from Mooremafia UA-cam channel (he’s a professional drag racer) and he had on his dyno a 2018 gsxr1000 with a full exhaust and filter on the bike and it only made like 156whp....that’s PISS power on a liter bike. When he was done tuning/flash it made 178-182whp. These stock liter bikes now a days are so restricted from factory that it literally will not allow the bike to run 100% of its power. A stock liter bike with its restrictions is almost just not even a liter bike at all anymore. So unless the 720s is also restricted from factory, it will never be an “even” comparison. You’d be getting a 720s with 100% power vs a liter bike with like 85-90% of its power and LOSES power in the higher rpm range. Which explains losing in the top end part of the race as well. Either way, good race! Any rider that’s like 190+ is considered a heavy weight lol. So at least this dude was light enough to make a difference. Otherwise he would have lost super early in the race.
Point is the day where liter bikes killed everything is over. Stock cars keeping up with liter bikes would have been a pipe dream 10 years ago. Today it's reality haha. The fact a stock car can pull on a liter bike is astonishing in itself.
Nebuchadnezzar id totally agree. The thing a bike still has going for it is cost. Yeah 15-20k brand new is expensive. But the amount of money needed to spend for a car to beat a liter bike is ridiculous. Speed for money, a bike wins 100% of the time. I ain’t spending 6 figures just to barely pull a bone stock 15k bike. No thanks lol.
@@I-Need-Saving well I mean cheap performance is not the same feeling as sitting in a car accelerating at the same speed in my opinion. The g forces pushing on your chest is a whole other sensation.

I wanna do a pull vs the 720!
Message me on IG. 👍
I can only wish Lamborghinis are McLaren's level fast
The street of Mexico! 🤣🤣
US bikes make 20-30 less than European bikes. That GIxxer would need to have been ECU flashed to make it comparable stock to Euro bikes
Great run Fadi 👍💯
I’ll send Pablo the message. 😂👍
@@BoostITFORward Sorry, l meant Pablo !!
We want to see against S1000RR tuned.
Just putting in the “stock Europe program” and touching nothing else would pick up 20-30whp. Technically still stock on another continent. BMW does not restrict their etv like Suzuki and Kawasaki both do.
720 with novitec tune/exhaust vs same GSXR with full exhaust/tune 60-160mph
Now you’re talking! Lol. 🔥
Amazing race!
Thanks Dan! 👍
Would it be possible to always run 3 times in one day, back to back to have an accepted way of defining a winner?
Do you want to see another race?
@@BoostITFORward Yes, of course, would lovе to see another race. Absolute love your videos
Thank you bro! 🙏👍
was that a 60 row? and what speed did u hit the breaks
Nice race...
Best 3/5
Fuck yeah my man brother!!!
Currently the bike can keep up with 720s until 190mph only H2 Ducati V4 2020 Also bmw s1000rr 2020 thoes bike ran from 50-190mph just like 720s ran from 0-200kmh .. sourced (650i)
Yes do it again . Why don't you some races from a dig . With cars And bikes . Maybe go to a local drag strip occassionly . Thanks
Very nice i loved it
Ricardo 👊
One more time
👍
I want to see panigale v4 vs McLaren
Great video
Thanks Ronald. 🔥
720 needs an exhaust and Tune for scientific purposes
432Evo9 new turbo build with bolt ons 🔥
2 beasts!!!
Hey brother just letting you know that bike if it’s a US SPEC BIKE it’s restricted meaning the throttle butterfly’s slowly closes at high RPM for emissions.. they make about 160hp atw... they will pull hard till around 10,000rpm then fall on its face
Here’s a video that might help explain
ua-cam.com/video/AAeB8SiUb74/v-deo.html
A simple flash will (take restrictions off) will gain easy hp especially top end..
Restricted or not, that sucker was fast and had the 720 putting in work! 😂
BoostITFORward Bahaha wait till it’s unrestricted bro it’s next level imagine a modded unrestricted 😂😂😂
Love the channel keep up the videos bro
Thanks brotha! 🙏👍
Up until just a few years ago it was fair to say that cars couldn’t touch the fastest road bikes. Now however cars are superior and the 765lt is just around the corner!
Not even close. H2R, zx14 and busa all do WELL over 200mph and get there way faster than this bike lol.
@@motortoys9942 lol even a h2r fails to a 765lt in a quarter mile. 9.4 @150 mph. Stop dreaming and realize today's cars are faster. Cars like the koenigseggs will destroy the h2r...
@@kvmuthu9863 dude are you kidding?? A stock but stretched only h2r ate up a Plaid in the quarter and the Plaid ran a 9.2 🤣🤣 I think the bike ran a 9 flat lol just accept what a good rider and power to weight does. Also, for what a million plus dollars I'll build a 70k turbo busa that will absolutely destroy the Koenigsegg and twice on Sundays. 🤣🤣
@@motortoys9942 ua-cam.com/video/MRj10HFPWXo/v-deo.html
This beast will destroy whatever street legal road bike u show me next. Pls don't show a drag bike, drag cars also exist.
@@motortoys9942 show me the link of the h2 beating the plaid
I would love to see H2 vs 720s
Zero chance that the 720 is even close regardless of how long the races goes to. 😂
BoostITFORward negative. Stock h2 isn’t that impressive. Would actually be a close race w the stock 18gsxr.
I'm surprised the GTR (04:10) didn't jump in.
You need a clear start and finish speed to determine the winner 50-150
Good video
Thanks brotha. 👍
I got an RSV4 Factory (2010) I would love to race you! I uploaded a video of my friend and I racing and he has 2018 gsxr 1000r stock with only akrapovic slip on.
2018 gsxr1000r is the fastest Gixxer ever made
The Bike won both races even Stevie wonder can see that
Haha
Did u pass the bike? Best I can give is a participation trophy
Can I use this fully credited and watermark of channel name
720s wins Second Race
Can you race a h2? Would like to see if maclaren would beat it
A stock 720 wouldn’t.
H2 is basically the fastest street legal Litre bike its faster than anything even faster than Ducati V4R and Superleggera V4 ☠️
Turbo that gsxr 1000 720s has no chance lol nice race 👍
Race again mannnnnnnn
Yes! The bike def won, he just ran out of gearing.
If the bike has more gearing, it would be slower in acceleration
30 second race for a 9:45min video
I think a bone stock S1000 would do a little better. They make about 10 more whp then a stock 17+ GSXR. You ran myles cousin now run myles lol.
Find me a bone stock S1000 and I will. 👍
According to all s1000RR owners the factory tune is absolute garbage in the midrange hence why they all get them tuned. Dragtimes already raced one anyway. Same outcome as this pretty much.
@@NebuChadNezzarKBDN The 2020 bikes not a 10-19. Have you ridden one? I owned two S1000's and can tell you I would put a hurting on that Suzuki. The bikes make 10-15more whp stock then the Suzuki. Watch the Brocks Video where he explains the power band of the bikes. Its why they are so lethal from a roll. I can tell you from experience, theres way more people who can afford these bikes then can ride them well. The rider in this video and his cousin are lethal on SWB bikes.
Hi, all bikes are limited to 299, if you take the limiter off it will beat the car, if not the car will be faster.
Do a dig next race! Btw 166lbs is considered fat for drag racing on bikes.
At certain speeds the bike definitely pulls a lot better. As the speed incrrases yes, the car takes the lead. Nothing new.
Blew my mind when he "beat" that zx10. Sorry but that bike will walk that car easy. Just needs a rider that has balls. Zero chance of a 680 hp car beating a 1000 cc superbike. ( I know because I ride them)
