Another great video Adam! Really enjoyable 👍 And yes, Threads of Life is a lovely and interesting place to visit. I bought an indigo dyed silk scarf from there a few years back and its a treasure. I was actually staying in the homestay upstairs which had its own lovely restoran ... lovely generational family run ❤
Thanks Adam. This was an amazing vlog to sit back and enjoy. Really enjoyed the variety you packed into your day that you shared with us. I've added quite a few things to our list next time we are in Ubud.
Cash luna is fabulous. Great coffee and cakes. Thanks Adam. I’m currently in Ubud, been watching the instillation of the amazing penjors for the ceremony in 3 weeks time. Such a beautiful part of bali Thanks for your vlog
Once again loved the video. I can almost taste the lime tart. Always enjoyed Casa Luna and Janet’s other restaurant Indus. Might need to take a day trip to Ubud next trip. Haven’t been for years. Penestanan looks well worth a visit. Keep up the great videos.
Hi Adam, I enjoyed this video so much! Every time I watch a video, I feel like you and I have similar tastes.😊 Places in this video are my fav spots in Ubud. Yellow Flower offers amazing buffet on weekend. I did yoga at the Honeymoon Guesthouse, run by the same people as Casa Luna. Like the restaurant, it has the charm of Ubud from a while back and a beautiful garden. Next time, I’d love to stay there!
Thanks! I’ve stayed at honeymoon guesthouse a very long time ago before Jalan Bisma was paved and there were almost zero other buildings along the road. It was a fantastic little guesthouse with a fantastic breakfast. I’m not sure how it’s fared over the years, but I’d guess it’s as good as ever
What a trip!!! Thanks Adam for making and sharing such a high quality, entertaining, informative and involving video!! Epic day trip that I wished I could've made while recently there, but couldn't, as I had my 90 year old dad along. Nevertheless, your video certainly took me along on that journey and I appreciated every little bit!! We did make our way (by car) to Warung Pulau Kelapa though, in Ubud, which was just up that 180deg turn you came to in your travels. Loving it!!! PS: Those new white sunnies certainly fit you well, mate!
Such a fabulous video Adam - as always! Ubud looks so beautiful & has retained its original charm. Something is bothering me though, and I hope you can help my brain recover the information. Went to Ubud many times in the 80's & 90's and frequented a lovely long-running & popular cafe/restaurant - which I think was in on the right-hand side heading toward the Monkey Forest, so I think it was on Monkey Forest Rd. After watching many Ubud travel vlogs, it doesn't appear to be there anymore. It had lots of seating & out the back there was seating amongst their lovely gardens. It's okay if you don't know, just wanted to run it past you.
Sorry that one doesn’t sound familiar to me, especially on the right hand side going down the hill as most places were on the left (I think they still are). How far down monkey forest rd would say this place is?
@@SanurDiaries I think it was about 400 - 500 metres down. But I could be wrong, it may have been on a street leading to Monkey Forest Rd. Please don't worry - it will come to me one day.
@SanurDiaries we stayed at end of the Campuhan Ridge Walk last September. It was peaceful and views were amazing. Walked into main part Ubud for a look around, but was nice to get back to the nature.
Hey Adam. Once again great informative video. We have stayed at the Tjampuhan Hotel everytime we stay in Ubud. We have considered newer places yet always end up staying there. We unknowingly used to cross the old wooden bridge until locals warned us that we were 'gila'. Also Seniman is my morning coffee place nicely tucked away from the Ubud craziness. Hope to catch up for a coffee in January with you in Sanur.
Another great video Adam! Really enjoyable 👍

Nice! Kajeng is a really nice street and still retains its local vibes until now, especially further up the road.
Adam I love your facial expressions when eating food you really like.
Thanks Lynne!
Thank you so much Adam. I love your channel! This is such a great video, as are all your others. Thanks for showing us these hidden treasures. 😊
My pleasure!
Thanks Adam! Really great to get your view on this area as someone who has had a long history with it !
My pleasure! I’ve always loved Ubud!

@SanurDiaries can't wait to catch a bus too
Casa Luna brought back many happy memories, great foood and atmosphere. Also my wife loved her book.
Yep. It's still a good place.
Cash luna is fabulous. Great coffee and cakes.

Such a beautiful part of bali
Thanks for your vlog
Yeah I agree that ubud is a beautiful part of Bali. It was high on my list of places to move when deciding where to live in Bali.
Once again loved the video. I can almost taste the lime tart. Always enjoyed Casa Luna and Janet’s other restaurant Indus. Might need to take a day trip to Ubud next trip. Haven’t been for years.

Yeah I think it’s worth a day trip from Sanur. At the very least to just get that lime tart once again.
Thank you Adam.... loved your perspective. I wonder if Susan ever gets a whole meal to herself... lol. See you in April 2025!
Haha Susan gets her own food at some point (I swear)! See you in April!

You will love Warung Murni a bit down the road from Casa Luna.
Thanks for that. I have been there before and the view is great!
Rahajung semeng

No probs! It’s a fantastic lime pie!
Thanks for this guide Adam. I will be in Ubud for 10 days next week and I will check out some of the places you mentioned.
Glad it was helpful!

Thanks Adam, another informative session. Loved the cafes, cakes and drinks looked delicious. Look forward to visiting these spots next year.
Glad you enjoyed it. Ubud is changing, but it’s still good!

Yeah that’s a nice area. It seems a lot more people are drawn to the outlying areas these days.
@@SanurDiaries can't blame them!

Yeah, there's something special about the familiarity of your favourite places. Fantastic coffee at Seniman.
Oh No your stalker has bought a friend along as well 😜
