Really enjoy your content Your stuff really flows, you are really well spoken Very informative, easy and enjoyable to watch You are one of the better vloggers I've watched
My hubby and I eat on the beach most nights, more so because we enjoy the breeze from the water which makes sitting in a non air conditioned restaurant more comfortable. We walk the path in both directions and have never felt unsafe or even uncomfortable, even in the dark areas. Thank you for recording the full path, it was great to relive our many walks along the beach at night.
Glad you like it. To be honest, those maps are what take most of my time on a video this length. But I figure it's worth it in the long run! Thanks for the feedback!
I absolutely love it too. I have had a few people ask what it's like along the beachfront at night with lighting etc, so I'd thought I'd put something together to show people what it's like.
Damn, the accommodation I booked is right near the super pitch black area 😂 looks like I'm walking down the main road to get to La Playa. I'm a woman traveling alone so I don't know that I'll feel that great walking through the dark
Yeah it could definitely be a problem in some parts. The problem with getting to the beach restaurants when you’re already on the beach, but don’t want to walk along the beach is that it will take ages. I guess it depends on how you feel at the time, but have a look when you get there and see if you’re happy with the situation.
Yes, it is! I haven’t been to Kuta in a long time, but my memory of some of the sports bars there was that they were quite big. Most of the bars in Sanur are relatively small… I haven’t been to heaps of them, but I can recommend Warung Rakarai and Warung Sports. They’re both pretty small but do good cheap food and have sports on the tv. Down the other end there are a bunch of bars including Place 2 Be. There’s heaps of choices, so you don’t need to worry about thatz
Great video, hopefully we do get to see Susan on video. Have you ever eaten at Cafe Jepun, absolutely beautiful & great service. Keep up the good work 🥂🍻
Such a great video. My wife and I are headed for Sanur on Friday and this video has been so helpful for us. It would be amazing if you could do a video about the interior parts of Sanur at night. My wife and I are staying in a villa just off gang jasmine and it is impossible to find out what that area is like at night. But i am sure plenty of people stay in that area as there is lots of villas. Anyway, keep up the great work.
It’s very quiet on that road at night which is good. A couple of warungs there are very good.. old brick and warung naksa are with 150m of where you’re staying if you’re on Gang Jasmine. The main road is not far away, so you can easily walk down to the hotel 101 and turn left or right and be right in the middle of town. Good idea about filming the interior roads though… I’ll look into it
The hospital is more towards the main road side of things whereas the hotel rooms are closer the beach. They have so much land there that it's still going to be largely empty.
Yeah it's taken over part of the golf course. But not all of it. There is still a lot of vacant land about and it still has that weird vibe when you walk along that section of beachfront. It always will do unless they allow private businesses to open bars and restaurants down near the beach.@@westernaustraliatravelfish2144
their is enough light pollution in sanur/indonesia, you must untherstand that nature needs darkness. birds, sealife , all living creatures , all need darkness. turtles don t lay eggs anymore on these lightnent beaches .
Really enjoy your content

Love that! Everyone has their own memories of these places and they’re special for their own reasons. I also love the night breeze.
Love the way you show the places with the map, it makes it so much more relevant and easy to understand where the places are. Well done.
Glad you like it. To be honest, those maps are what take most of my time on a video this length. But I figure it's worth it in the long run! Thanks for the feedback!
totally agree - its bloody cool
Yee, it's safe. I was there with my 3-year last month at 8pm for a 2km walk. 😅
I actually enjoy that walk at night even though it’s pitch black in places 😂
Ingin ke Sanur hanya krn video ini..bagus sekali pak
Terima kasih!
IMO best Sanur reviewer by far! Thank you
Wow, thanks!
as much as i enjoy everyone who posts content i really do enjoy Adams style
Excellent and informative video as usual. Thanks for all your effort that you put in to making these great videos. Cheers
So nice of you! I appreciate your appreciation! 😀
We are loving your videos in Sanur. Been there 10 times including last year and enjoyed nights walks along the beachfront. Back in June we can’t wait.

Excellent video, Thank You
Glad you liked it!
Great great video
Thanks!
Hey mate, we thought you had a stalker in your videos. Doing a good job there mate, thanks. We love Sanur.
Haha. Susan is always lurking in the background 😎
Great informative video. Coming to Sanur in May and looking forward to trying out some of the restaurants you have recommended.
Nice one. There's definitely more to come from me as well. I have quite a few food videos cooking at this very moment...
5 kilometres in 30 minutes! Great job, and thanks
My pleasure!
Very good video and thanks for all the information
No worries. Glad you liked it!
Very true, quite dark in places as you rightly pointed out.
Great video as usual mate.
Thanks 👍
Lovely to meet you Susan.
Susan says hello!
Great video, I have sent a link to my girlfriends that will be staying in Sanur in June. I think they will find it very helpful.
Thanks for sharing! Really appreciate it.
Great video, and lovely to see Susan! ❤
Glad you enjoyed it! Still trying to get Susan more involved, but not happening as of yet 😅
thanks enjoyed once again 🇦🇺
thank you!

Thats a pretty cool video Adam - enjoyed the night walk - didn't realise it was so dark in places. Love the mapping you do
Thanks mate. Maps are my biggest nightmare. The maps on this video took me about 8 hours to do. Didn't realise it was going to be such a big job.
Another great review of the area! Thank you. Quick question: In Kuta, it's easy to find a sports bar. Is it the same in Sanur?
Yes, it is! I haven’t been to Kuta in a long time, but my memory of some of the sports bars there was that they were quite big. Most of the bars in Sanur are relatively small…

Not yet! I do know about it and I'll hopefully get there in the future! 🍻

Come on Susan you can do it, fame and fortune await !
hahaha. One day...
La Playa has always had good food but beware of buying cocktails.
Thanks for the tip! Always a good idea to personally check out of the bar before drinking anywhere in Bali.
Isn't the Inna Bali hotel mainly being transformed into a hospital?
The hospital is more towards the main road side of things whereas the hotel rooms are closer the beach. They have so much land there that it's still going to be largely empty.
@@SanurDiaries the side road do you mean?
on the bypass itself. You can get a good view of it from google maps using satellite view.@@westernaustraliatravelfish2144
@@SanurDiaries oh where the golf course used to be?

Fair point. All in the name of progress I suppose
