I bought the 85 inch bravia 9 a few weeks ago. It looked so close to the LG G4 but without the worry of burn in. For those who say oled don't burn in, don't have kids who hit pause on the tv and then walk away for hours at a time..lol.

Wow! For someone like me looking to upgrade simply from LG Oled 55” to 65”, you make me contemplate something other than Oled for the first time. Specially considering getting a professional to calibrate my TV is out of the question.
My middle of the line sony from a few years back is still rockin. But its nice to know ive waited long enough to get a real upgrade in quality when i decide to make a move!
Just wanted to mention for the budget-conscious among us, the Bravia 7 gets VERY close to the 9's performance at half the price. The tradeoff is the wide-angle performance (colors start to wash out at 20° off or so), a little more sensitivity to room reflections, and it's slightly less bright (although still much brighter than most of its competition). Definitely check them out side by side in a showroom and factor in your room's needs if you think the 9 is just a bit too expensive at the moment.
You give such excellent, easy to understand reviews and impart practical useful information . It’s such a pleasure to listen to your reviews. Thank you
My bravia 9 85" was delivered 2 days ago, I watched multiple movies on it Aquaman, Topgun:Maverick, Oppenheimer etc. and let me tell you this, IT IS MIND BLOWING!!!! Sony wasn't fooling around when they chose "Cinema comes home" as their brand slogan. I felt it and me and my wife decided to not to go to cinema anymore, this tv is that good. Color accuracy, quality of picture, brightness, deep blacks.... it is NOT OLED, but it is not ANY LESS THAN OLED , Its literally 99.99% there with its deep blacks, with added bonus of brighness.. oh man oh man!! bye bye movie time!
@@vishalgabaniI've got the 85" Bravia 9, have also watched those movies on it and I concur! Best PQ on a TV to date, the HDR on it is more spectacular and mesmerizing than on any other TV. Since I also own 77" A95L, 83" LG G4 and Samsung S95D, I can say that from experience. None of them look as good as the Bravia 9.
We’ve been running a Sony Bravia 55” for a while now ..and it’s by far the best television we’ve seen …especially since we stream the bulk of our viewing content.
Geek Squad set up my 77” A95L over the weekend. The picture quality is amazing, up scaling is great, it’s very bright, and build quality can’t be beat! I understand the A95L is a 5 thousand dollar 💵 TV, and not everyone can afford it, but if you can just buy the Damn thing! 😮
You know when I bought the Bravia 9 and watched our universe on Netflix, I felt same way. I was blown away and felt this was the greatest increase in performace I had seen since HDTVs were first introduced!...... And then I realized it was on vivid mode...Lol true story. Under the more accurate modes it was just ok. It didnt look that much better than my Hisense 75 U8k and my hisense was 1/3 of the price. The bravia did have better black levels and blooming performance but not way better and certainly not as good as the OLED I was looking to replace. For the price it just wasnt a good enough improvement in performance so I returned it and went with an LG G4. It really seems to check all the boxes for me. Black levels, accuracy, plenty bright, not quite as bright as the Bravia 9 but it pops when it needs to so still plenty of wows. Really a great tv and I highly recommend you review it Andrew.
I’ll never understand how people seemingly take it so personally when someone praises a brand/model that isn’t THEIRS. I’ve owned this TV for a few months now and have been absolutely thrilled by its performance. Some folks are just haters of Sony, mini LED, or both.
I don't get it either, and, at least from my perspective, it only rears its ugly head when talking about Sony TVs or QLEDs. OLED, it seems, has a great PR team because, despite its known and obvious limitations, it can do no wrong in some people's eyes.
What bothered me and steered me away from this tv and on to the 83” G4 was that awful rainbow streak that goes across the screen. It was awful and so distracting. Maybe in a room with absolutely no light it won’t happen, but even on a cloudy day you’d see that terrible streak going across the screen.
For those who don't need to buy today, CES is coming up January 7-10 and new models will be introduced. When the new models do roll out in the Spring, current models get discounted as well.
Hi A&K! Great video, now I feel the necessity of getting this Bravia 9, as you mentioned, I made my decision based on your reviews and now with this one, possibly TV of the year, I think I’ll have to get it! Thanks
Also, I was totally sold on the 85QM8 since it does 90% of what the B9 does at half the cost (your 98” is my 85”). However, the Bravia 9 does some things no one else does like: Sony pictures core (underrated based on my research). Has all the hdr/dolby vision video options, dts-X atmos etc audio, looks like it’s the best pic quality/upscaling for Dish network/direct tv feeds (something almost no reviewer displays or talks about), build quality, Q/C.. Basically, when you said “puts everything I wanted in one tv”, that’s exactly how I felt!! However, I can only hope that at some point it lowers in price substantially, otherwise it’s the 85QM8 $1999 for me or wait until tcl comes out with the “QM9/QM951”. 🎉 great review!
I got the 75" B9 on release and it's been outstandingly good. After some early software bugs it now seems rock solid. Oh and the sound❤It's just on another level. Great video👍🏼
Perfect timing , I am looking for a 75 " Tv and this might have sealed the deal for me 😊 thanks Andrew for making the task much easier for me to chose 👍
The Bravia 9 is a jack of all trades TV. I think the biggest compliment is at 5:37 when Andrew says it's the best Streaming he's ever seen, even rising to the level of physical media (4K BR). As someone who has watched the same movies on streaming and 4K BR on the Bravia 9, I can confirm that the Bravia 9 does an incredible job of displaying streaming content, far better than my C3. On my C3, the difference between streaming and 4KBR is noticeable. On the Bravia 9, it's far more difficult to tell the difference.
I spent about 45 mins at one of my best buys and stared at this TV. I fully know the content is not and the experience at the store is not the best. But at least right now I’m still happy with my 85X95K. I can see where there were a lot of great improvements but I know that V2 of this tech is prolly going to get me to upgrade at least the media room TV and maybe the living room tv for the wife. Great review like always!
Great review, thank you Andrew and Kristi. I am a proud owner of a B9 myself and love it. I am truly baffled as to the business decision of Sony not to offer this item and others in much much larger sizes. With the exception of the X90L at 98", why do you think Sony hasn't decided to enter into the 100+ inch market? The demand is truly there I think. I can't fathom why they are opting out of this arena. I am from the days of the 90s where Sony was the leader in the pack of innovation and it just seems they are actively willing to forego this aspect (size) of the consumer wishlist. I know of many people who, as you articulated above, would want bigger over something that is "technically" better because only the niche home audio/video enthusiasts would know or see the difference. I'm pretty baffled. I wonder what they're hoping to accomplish...
Amazing review as always. In shopping for my recently purchased tv I had the privilege to compare a bunch of high end TVs side by side. My ranking would be 1- Sony s95l 2- lg g4 3- Sony Bravia 9 Bravia 9 was close, but didn’t match the insane contrast of a high end OLED. Hands down the best led though. I ended up with a g3 as they were going on clearance.
Bought the 75inch couple weeks ago. Considering that not all content is 4K out there dare not go bigger. Sure upgraded all my subs to 4K cost me €100 more per year but still even then not everything is 4K. And comming from a 55 inch 75 is massive don’t forget every hous is different even if you have a big white wall ..that’s 13 feet away.. that’s 4m like me 75inch is massive ..and 85 inch was 1k more expensive I’m going to put that in to a new AVR Onkyo TX-RZ70…and 4 Polk r600 towers hopefully
Good morning A&K. Great review of what sounds like the new benchmark in TVs. Glad to hear it also offers good off-axis performance which is important in situations where viewers are spread more widely around a room. While Sony's decision not to offer this TV in a 100" model, I've got a strong feeling this will be rectified soon with CES just around the corner... Hello 100" Bravia 10! Size matters! Thanks again for the fabulous reviews and enjoy the rest of the day!
This is a great TV and we're enjoying the 65" Bravia 9 in our family room. My only complaint is the Bravia 9 makes my mid-range 2024 Samsung (living room) feel like it's generations behind it in terms of picture quality and "smartness". Is this the trappings of having the best of the best or what?
I actually had the Bravia 9 and exchanged it for the LG G4. I have a wide seating arrangement and the blooming off axis was pretty bad on the Sony in some scenes. It looks fantastic dead-on though. I am loving the G4, but I do miss Sony’s image processing sometimes.
Hi there, I'm been following you guys for a while. I have to see this for myself because I can't believe this LCD panel with mini LEDS is better than the LG G4. I can imagin that this tv looks beter in your living room because there is much light. Most of the time, I watch when it's dark so I don't need a very bright TV. Will check this out in real life too see the difference but you got me intrigued! As always thank you for the review and god bless you both!
If all HDMI must be 2.1 wait until next year when the Soc is upgraded. Plus the price of this year's models will drop. All good things come to they who wait.
We’ve been rocking the 55” Sony 9005 for the past six years and the picture quality is still quite good. My only gripe is the fast-ish decaying processing and UI horsepower. We’ve had some color issues with Netflix HDR & Dolby Vision and audio issues streaming from Amazon and Disney. Apple TV 4K to the rescue, I hope! Never used it before and quite excited to see how it is to daily drive! Also, it seems to have a tool for calibrating your TV with an iPhone, so excited to try that feature too.
Honestly, in my somewhat limited experience many modern TV’s have awesome picture quality as long as you’re willing to tweak a bit. This is why when asked I tell people to go for the biggest size that fits their room (without it being too dominating), and focus on picture quality after that. For serious gaming though that’s another question. 😊
The problem with the 9 is it's price and/or size. It's a great TV for what it is but you can either spend a little more for a G4 or get a 98" TV for the same money. Making it neither the best value for quality or size. This is made"worse" by it maxing out at 85". Even if you're happy paying a premium for a Sony you can't buy it in 98". So, unless you have a small room, if you want Sony you'd get a better experience with a 98" X90L for the same money. Sure this does things the X90L doesn't but size is king.
Bravia 9 is like if the Z9D and Z9K had a baby. You get some seriously impressive HDR impact but the backlight is good enough to make sure black levels are held in check. No dimming or image retention to deal with either it's just a really versatile TV. for reference, I have a calibrated 75" which I've used for about 4 months now.
It's a great TV, though I would caution against judging the picture quality of ANY TV using UA-cam or another display (it's sort of a copy of a copy). Plus, a person's camera settings can affect what you see.
Thanks so much for this review I"ve been waiting for. Only precision to add: those outstanding performances don't apply to the 65 inch display that has fewer zones...
@@KristiWright this would not be related to the zone control capacity here (because sony backlight masterdrive has plenty of power) but more to the number of zone..
I guess I still do not understand preferences to huge TVs. I have a bonus room where the seats are about 9' from the tv screen. According to articles I've read on size v distance, this would relate to a 70 - 75" TV. I tried to move a 55" TV I already owned based on that advice, and it felt like it was "in my face" too much! My wife is a bit nearsighted, and couldn't focus at all. We purchased a 43" and while a bit small, it suffices. Even now, in our living area, we sit about 10 - 11' from the TV screen. I'm looking at 65" models.
@@tjnies same here about 10 feet…we tried a Samsung s95D 77 inch and experienced a bit of motion dizziness it was a bit to much for us , I just picked up a Bravia 9 65 inch 2 weeks ago, it’s bright and handles standard def - to 4 K no problem.
It looked amazing even in store mode. I almost got the Bravia 7 since you said it was 90% of the Bravia 9 but cheaper, but I went with an oled. If I was willing to spend for it I would get the Bravia 9, it’s just on another level
A&K, appreciate your in depth reviews and perspectives as always. You bring up a great point about the competition now not just being between Mini-LED and OLED, but now UST projectors, especially at this price point. While no other TV really compares to the Bravia 9, I'm curious about comparisons to projectors. What has your experience been with projectors and what keeps you going back to TVs?
Projectors cannot keep pace with the latest HDR formats despite many claiming they can and/or trying. Moreover, more and more folks are looking for mixed-use spaces, and even ALR screens cannot compete with 98 to 115-inch TVs in mixed usage and lighting. Before 98-inch TVs came to market or became more accessible I could still make a case for projection, but now, not so much. Unless you're still rockin' a dedicated theater room and want or can accommodate a screen size LARGER than 120 inches diagonally, projection still has a use case. For everyone else...not so much.
Good afternoon Andrew! Just watched your Bravia 9 review. So if it came bigger. Would you buy it over Sony 95 oled? I’m in the middle of my decision. Or should I wait another year or 2? I am wondering can tv go any further than they are right now? Can Bravia 9 push out oleds of the best overall picture? Thanks for your content
I bought all three Bravia 9s for a new house and my ONLY complaint is that I wish there was a 98”ish model! I’d move the TVs all down and then end up with the 55 in a guest room. LOVE this tv on the wall of our living room that has a huge wall of windows. Sound is through a Marantz Cinema 50 and a bunch of Focal Utopia in wall and in ceiling speakers and I could not be happier! Thanks for your great reviews and other videos!
15:09 🤤 I've got to say if I could have afforded this I would have waited it out and literally bought the 85 in in a heartbeat. I knew with this technology that they implemented the backlight control was going to be greatness next to the Z9D.. wow! I love my x90l! The one thing I wish is that Sony actually made their TVs affordable. I understand why they don't because it does cost a lot for D&R But man, this is a TV and a brand that everybody should be able to enjoy.. I've also got to agree that they should have definitely made bigger sizes. The reason why I think they didn't is because the bigger On the screen you go the more likely the DSE is... The real question is Andrew now with this TV being so great, do you think they're going to slow down on OLED, And start implementing this technology in all of their flagship TVs from here on out?
Window reflections are highest on my priority list and currently why I’m aiming to upgrade from my “fancy flashlights,” 😂great comment! Would you say the 98”ers such as the A90L or the QM8 perform better in this regard? Thank you 📺
It was a tad vague, so i guess I'm just gonna come out and ask: Is this TV flat out better than OLED? By which I mean, does this take away all of the OLEDs' strengths and, in turn, make OLED obsolete or is OLED still king for another year, but now the usurper has much more of a claim to the throne?
Andrew what're your thoughts on TVs this generation (and even the next and following) becoming brute force of more and more brightness? There's only a few metrics now that TVs improve upon every year (getting brighter, better processing, better color volume / gamut, more dimming zones if mini led, pricing etc), but the available content out there to take advantage of it seem to be progressing slower than the advancement in the TVs. personally I think it's nice to have the capability of brightness and not need it, than need it and not have it (when the time comes)
You can always "dim down" a bright TV, but you can't really make a dark TV brighter. As for available content, this comes down to processing and how the manufacturer chooses to approximate real-time brightness adjustments to images that may not have the necessary information to fully take advantage of the panel's potential. In this regard, some TVs stand out from the rest, and Sony definitely leads the pack, in my opinion.
Go big or go home! You're in the big leagues Robinson The Bravia 9 is impressive for sure. Myself I am going for an 85" in 2025, from my tiny 64" plasma. Maybe next year Sony will grant your wish with a 98" plus next gen Bravia 9. Oh, and I thought the price point on release of the B9 compared to the 83" LG G4 was a big win at $1 K less.
Thanks for the review! IMO at the end of the day the goal is immersion. During movie watching some of the image quality attributes might not stand out that much. At which point does tv size becomes the dominant factor vs image quality when considering immersion? For the same price would we prefer a larger less capable tv vs a smaller more capable tv such as the sony? I would argue that 90% of people own a smaller tv than what is "recommended" (based on the viewing distance) for maximum immersion but a lot of them are top notch oleds.
They're out in full force alright lmao. They're brainwashed and just don't get that OLED isn't better than the very best of LCD technology anymore. Bravia 9 is an alternative that's every bit as good, and even better in many respects. I bet those OLED fanboys will have a fit when even better iterations of the backlight master drive release over the next 2 - 3 years, and will cry like babies when QDEL hits the market in a handful of years and will be far superior to either display type.
@@mknulaf1 We also have the small green Borea round coffee table, and we love it. As Andrew has already said, he has coveted the B&W stripe Borea for a couple of years now.
@dougnykel7693, there’s a lot to like about the B7, but it has one critical flaw, reflections are about the worst I’ve ever seen. If you put it in a cave to avoid reflections, you should just buy an OLED instead.
Forget larger TV's, I would love to see great tv's in the 32" size. Dunno what it is, but 32" tv's just aren't much of a thing now, for at least really good tv's. Best I know of is the Samsung Q60x or The Frame series. Close second is some of Sumsung's smart monitors, but I'm not keen on spending over 1000 dollars for a 32" display. (and yes 32" is perfect for my setup, I don't sit very far from it, mainly because I don't have to wear my glasses and still see it)
My current thoughts too. My parents were looking for a 40" or less TV (small house and insist on TV cabinet) and I was dumbfounded what to recommend them. The bigger name brands have abandoned a lot of people that want a quality but smaller TV.
@@paulc5389 plus, it’s what fits my setup best anyway, I could fit a 42” screen, but it would just get in the way of other things (like my audio setup, which there is no compromise for imo)
Hi Andrew, You kindly replied to my question last time about the X90L and now the new models have arrived I was wondering what your spin is on this: A95L or Bravia 9 I am asking for my dad as he is going to purchase either or. I know the sound is probably better on the A95L and myself and purchasing either the Bravia 7, Bravia 8 depending on the best deals around. You're doing a great job, love watching your videos here in the UK. Dan
I feel like larger more affordable tv options will be the future (look at Hisense and tcl). Let’s make an 85 the standard and go up from there! Soon 65” tvs will “small” 😂
This sounds like Sony is getting really close to game changing the industry. However the rainbow effect is real, which is why it's this particular TV is off my radar. Plus, I'm so used to the OLED perfection of black levels and absolutely zero blooming, LCD/LED still has much room for improvement here. Peak brightness has never been a priority. Our A9G will still hurt our eyes when we're watching "The Snap" scene during Affinity War, where the screen flashes 100% white, while watching our movies in total darkness. I'll patiently wait for a 90+" OLED.
Very insightful review, thanks! Can you please, please do the Bravia 7 and tell us how big an improvement it is over the X90L and what we'd be missing compared to the 9?!
FYI the Amazon link is incorrect. Am I the only one that wants to at least look like I can afford to buy this using your referral? Great review! I'll be going for the 75 for my space. No more research needed v OLED thanks to you.
I have one for the bedroom calibrated to but still near no were near as good ad my A95L , Qd oled is still king And I watch both almost every day the contrast you get from oled is just on another level.
I purchased a 98in X90L solely based on your review, waiting for my apartment to be ready so I can set it up, and my exact dilemma was x90L vs 85in B9… I got swayed by the size, since I could not see B9 in person anywhere (not in US). Would you say that B9 is THAT much better if 90% of our watching needs are TV shows (sitcoms, Netflix, Disney), UA-cam and occasionally PS5. We rarely watch movies at all. Are you keeping the x90L as your main living room TV? 😅

Andrew's watched Maverick enough that he could probably do the valley run in 1:45 tops! 😂😂😂 We need to give you a call sign!
@ tribalism - especially on the Internet - is a sickness that knows no bounds! 🤣
Thanks, as always, for your reviews!
What bothered me and steered me away from this tv and on to the 83” G4 was that awful rainbow streak that goes across the screen. It was awful and so distracting. Maybe in a room with absolutely no light it won’t happen, but even on a cloudy day you’d see that terrible streak going across the screen.
The best Sony B9 Realtime review till now 🎉
For those who don't need to buy today, CES is coming up January 7-10 and new models will be introduced. When the new models do roll out in the Spring, current models get discounted as well.
Here we go!! Love me some Sony
Can't wait to hear what you think.
Great review. I would have loved to see a 98 as well. Recently picked up a 98qm851 based upon your and others review. The $4000 for it can’t be beat.
Hi A&K! Great video, now I feel the necessity of getting this Bravia 9, as you mentioned, I made my decision based on your reviews and now with this one, possibly TV of the year, I think I’ll have to get it! Thanks
Would love a 83” G4 review! 👍👍
For sure G4 is a better TV than Bravia 9!
@ That’s my first thought as well!
Outstanding Review Truly! I had to get it..
I got the 75" B9 on release and it's been outstandingly good. After some early software bugs it now seems rock solid. Oh and the sound❤It's just on another level. Great video👍🏼
You are spot on, Sony needs to make this available in 98” or 100” 👍🏽
Perfect timing , I am looking for a 75 " Tv and this might have sealed the deal for me 😊 thanks Andrew for making the task much easier for me to chose 👍
This TV Is STUNNING, you can't go wrong
Coffee and a recovering audiophile! Ready!
Appreciate it! Thanks for tuning in.
One of ur best reviews bro, made my drive home bearable
The Bravia 9 is a jack of all trades TV. I think the biggest compliment is at 5:37 when Andrew says it's the best Streaming he's ever seen, even rising to the level of physical media (4K BR). As someone who has watched the same movies on streaming and 4K BR on the Bravia 9, I can confirm that the Bravia 9 does an incredible job of displaying streaming content, far better than my C3. On my C3, the difference between streaming and 4KBR is noticeable. On the Bravia 9, it's far more difficult to tell the difference.
Good Sunday Andrew
Morning!
Thank you for the review. My experience lines up with yours
This is so much better without having to worry about the burn in risk. A more versatile picture is definitely worth it.
Amazing review as always. In shopping for my recently purchased tv I had the privilege to compare a bunch of high end TVs side by side.
My ranking would be
1- Sony s95l
2- lg g4
3- Sony Bravia 9
Bravia 9 was close, but didn’t match the insane contrast of a high end OLED.
OMG if they come to market with a 100+ inch Bravia 9 (or 10) I'm going to be poor but happy 😉
Really cool video. Good to know that other technologies are reaching the level where they can challenge OLED whilst offering their own benefits.
Thanks guys for these wonderful tv reviews
Hi there,
I'm been following you guys for a while.
Thank you! Been waiting patiently for this review all year!
Got the 85 inch is insane
Sony is 👑of TVs
The problem with the 9 is it's price and/or size. It's a great TV for what it is but you can either spend a little more for a G4 or get a 98" TV for the same money. Making it neither the best value for quality or size.
This is made"worse" by it maxing out at 85". Even if you're happy paying a premium for a Sony you can't buy it in 98". So, unless you have a small room, if you want Sony you'd get a better experience with a 98" X90L for the same money. Sure this does things the X90L doesn't but size is king.
Sounds like a great tv . Thanks for review
Thanks for watching!
Good morning Andrew and Kristi. Beautiful picture at least what I see on an iPad.
It's a great TV, though I would caution against judging the picture quality of ANY TV using UA-cam or another display (it's sort of a copy of a copy). Plus, a person's camera settings can affect what you see.
@ obviously
Thanks so much for this review I"ve been waiting for. Only precision to add: those outstanding performances don't apply to the 65 inch display that has fewer zones...
🤔When a larger size in a series performs well, the smaller models typically will perform even better since there is less to control.
@@KristiWright this would not be related to the zone control capacity here (because sony backlight masterdrive has plenty of power) but more to the number of zone..
@@KristiWrightUnfortunately it doesn’t work that way. Here the more the better.
Thank you, right in time for the black friday ! 🎉
Love your reviews! Thanks!
Appreciate that, thanks!
Great review - the Bravia you always pay more for, but almost always you get what you pay for!
The A95L QD-OLED is currently Sony's besy TV.
Great review!
Have u reviewed the LG G4 ?
" Its just not big enough " thats what she said lol great review Andrew well done as usual cheers from Canada
If i had the funds for this, i would be tempted!!!
If it were 100", I would've bought it.
Whenever I upgrade I’m going with a LG OLED; probably C series 77 or 83.
Go for 77" LG OLED G4, heatsink, more nits, 5 years panel warranty!
I have the 75” Sony Bravia 9 and I love it more than my wife
I bought all three Bravia 9s for a new house and my ONLY complaint is that I wish there was a 98”ish model! I’d move the TVs all down and then end up with the 55 in a guest room. LOVE this tv on the wall of our living room that has a huge wall of windows. Sound is through a Marantz Cinema 50 and a bunch of Focal Utopia in wall and in ceiling speakers and I could not be happier! Thanks for your great reviews and other videos!
Wish it was mine. Would target this if I needed a TV. Keep mine long term unless something goes wrong.
Thank you 📺
Need a 98" Bravia 9
Me too!
Sony, the one and only
There are so many of us who would've happily paid a premium for a 98" Bravia 9. Instead our closest true alternative is a 98" UX.
Hi Andrew, great review!, i got a general question about HDMI ARC, it seems to limit Quality to 16 bits/48KHz? Do you know a way arround that?
"Fancy flashlights" 😂😂
ODF (oled defense force) assemble! Please tell us all how lcd sucks and micro contrast is the only thing we should care about.
ODF 😂😂😂😂
They're out in full force alright lmao. They're brainwashed and just don't get that OLED isn't better than the very best of LCD technology anymore. Bravia 9 is an alternative that's every bit as good, and even better in many respects. I bet those OLED fanboys will have a fit when even better iterations of the backlight master drive release over the next 2 - 3 years, and will cry like babies when QDEL hits the market in a handful of years and will be far superior to either display type.
Love the B&B Italia pieces!
🤩
I’m totally not biased because I manage their DC Showroom. 😂
@@mknulaf1 I want the Borea outdoor sofa and chairs sooooo bad.
I’ll check some things when I’m back in the showroom. 🙌🏾 You guys have given me years of great reviews. Hopefully, I can help you this time.
@@mknulaf1 We also have the small green Borea round coffee table, and we love it. As Andrew has already said, he has coveted the B&W stripe Borea for a couple of years now.
Good review !!!, but the TV is expensive !!!, what do you think of its little brother the XR70 ???
@dougnykel7693, there’s a lot to like about the B7, but it has one critical flaw, reflections are about the worst I’ve ever seen. If you put it in a cave to avoid reflections, you should just buy an OLED instead.
@donrichter3523 the one reason I've not got a bravia 7 yet. Is it that bad lol.
Maybe next year's they'll have sorted that out. Hopefully.
@@donrichter3523 The reflection handling is basically the same as the X90L, but it’s rarely mentioned for that TV.
I am hoping the 98" version comes out in sonys pipeline next year id imagine a 8k price point to start then the price dropping.
A 32" TV is good for like a 3 ft viewing distance. You actually sit that close?
@@paulc5389 3 ft from 32” would be pretty overwhelming… I sit about 5-5 1/2ft or so away from it and it’s perfectly comfortable to me
@@paulc5389 plus, it’s what fits my setup best anyway, I could fit a 42” screen, but it would just get in the way of other things (like my audio setup, which there is no compromise for imo)
@natskar, a 32” tv?!? That a computer monitor size now.
Hi Andrew,
You kindly replied to my question last time about the X90L and now the new models have arrived I was wondering what your spin is on this:
A95L or Bravia 9 I am asking for my dad as he is going to purchase either or. I know the sound is probably better on the A95L and myself and purchasing either the Bravia 7, Bravia 8 depending on the best deals around.
You're doing a great job, love watching your videos here in the UK.
Dan
Thanks for this review! 🥃🎊🍸🎉
I feel like larger more affordable tv options will be the future (look at Hisense and tcl). Let’s make an 85 the standard and go up from there! Soon 65” tvs will “small” 😂
Thanks for great video. Where can I find the calibrated setting you used for making the picture perfect, as you mentioned? thanks
Ugh. I’ve been shopping OLEDs. And now I have this to think about 😢😅
This sounds like Sony is getting really close to game changing the industry.
I will see if we can't get a 7 on the channel in 2025. I'm curious too!
FYI the Amazon link is incorrect. Am I the only one that wants to at least look like I can afford to buy this using your referral? Great review! I'll be going for the 75 for my space. No more research needed v OLED thanks to you.
Dammit. I messed up a link. Here is the correct one: amzn.to/3Z65Gfh
Thanks for alerting us!
I have one for the bedroom calibrated to but still near no were near as good ad my A95L , Qd oled is still king And I watch both almost every day the contrast you get from oled is just on another level.
I ordered an A95L yesterday so I very much appreciate this comment of yours 🙂
I purchased a 98in X90L solely based on your review, waiting for my apartment to be ready so I can set it up, and my exact dilemma was x90L vs 85in B9… I got swayed by the size, since I could not see B9 in person anywhere (not in US). Would you say that B9 is THAT much better if 90% of our watching needs are TV shows (sitcoms, Netflix, Disney), UA-cam and occasionally PS5. We rarely watch movies at all. Are you keeping the x90L as your main living room TV? 😅
