I wouldn't check, if they check back you're in the same position on the river - but bet something so stupidly small you'll pull some value back. If you bet 20-25% it's effectively the same as a check as they will be incentivised to re-raise you, but if they call then you've milked some extra chips.
Check makes a lot of sense intuitively; however, we unblock all of his Jx that have trips. Disaster would be to check back and a K or T rolls up and we don't get anymore value against trips. I ran the hand in the solver, and it prefers to bet QQ 100% of the time. He is going to check his bluffs to me on turn but he'll also check Jx since queen is one of best cards in the deck for us. The mistake was betting 40% pot on the turn, the computer prefers a small 25% pot size bet. I don't give people enough credit to bluff the river after checking turn, but they will always call trips on the turn.

If he has trips or full house he will bet the turn, if he was repping oesd he will bet the turn, that Q allows him to bet most of the bluff and value streets, with his fold it's clear that he had a bluff (probably some 9x or overcads + backdoor equity) so your best choice there was to let him bluff since you didn't need protection, if a bad card comes on the river I assure you most player of that field would value bet a Jack. Plus your Lead big bet after a check raise looks extremely strong and face up

the hand with QQ, just check the turn -> let him bluff ( after the raise on the flop ) and then hit it
