    I’ve seen this awhile ago. As luck would have it my wife had a 2020 Edge Titanium rental. She didn’t like it. I loved it. So I traded in my 2019 Jeep Cherokee limited for the 2021 Titanium and it’s an incredible daily drive. Although there’s things that Mopar offers that I wish Ford would adapt, but overall I’m pleased.

    Great presentation. I will pick up my new Edge Titanium tomorrow, looking forward to drive it. I trade in my 2019 Edge, I loved it very much.

    My lease is up soon (Lincoln MKZ hybrid) and I'm between the Edge, Nautilus, and Corsair. I've always liked the Edge.

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  3 роки тому +2

      Hey Aimee! The Edge and Nautilus are built on similar platforms and you can get it in the 2.0L or 2.7L turbo. The Corsair is available as a 2.0L and 2.3L turbo.
      It's going to depend on your style preference and budget. The Nautilus and Edge both just got an interior upgrade and look pretty sharp. It's going to come down to your needs, the Edge/Nautilus are larger vehicles with more trunk space compared to the Corsair. Best bet is to take your top choices for a spin!

      @@TaylorGirl85 Your experience in the Edge sound pretty different from Edge owners that I know. Did you ever have the selling dealer check to see if there was something up with the turbo?
      The Acadia is a good SUV as well. Did you have the chance to take a look at the Edge ST? Same price point as the Acadia AT4 / Denali with more horsepower/torque

      Steve, my husband wants to stick with Lincoln (we've had the MKC and now have the MKZ hybrid). I'd like to pay less 🤣 Honestly I want a Bronco Sport but I have had a major brain surgery and the bronco killed my head 😪 when I test drove it. No matter what we get, we will have the bigger engine.

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  3 роки тому

      @@AimeeFleck Makes sense on sticking with Lincoln. It can be challenging to move to the Ford lineup if you love the look/features/luxury of the Lincoln side of things. The Corsair is great and the new Nautilus has a pretty nice interior that was upgraded this year.
      Interesting about the Bronco Sport ride and how it affected you. Did you have a chance to drive the Corsair/Nautilus to see if you had the same issue?

      Thanks! It would be nice to see them fold flat more like the Explorer. Now you've got me thinking about a mat of some kind that can raise the cargo area up a bit more for a flatter sleep 🤔

    Waiting for the explorer ST to go down on prices. Specially here in BC the tax is very high

      That's great Hayder, glad you're enjoying it! Ugh I feel your pain - we're at 13% HST in Ontario. There are always different rebates available, potential Ford X Plan discounts and then if Ford does what they did last year we may see employee pricing in July or August this year - check with your local dealer the first few days of the month to see what incentives are going on

    Great video Steve. Looking at this video I might want to consider this. Looks sharp but I’m used to power. Maybe the 2.7L would be ideal for me.

      Thanks Mario! If you like the extra power I'd definitely suggest the ST instead. You go from 250hp/280 lb-ft torque in the 2.0L to 335hp/380lb-ft torque in the ST

    Nice car but the instrument cluster is terrible... And you look at it every day. Ford is using this cluster since 2012 and it's ugly and old. They should implemented their digital screen cluster in more cars.....

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  3 роки тому +1

      That digital screen would have been a nice addition to the Edge. I think this might be on its way out to make room for a different electric or hybrid SUV. Could also see Ford potentially making the Edge the catch size hybrid/EV.. 2023 or 2024 is my guess

    • @AimeeFleck
      @AimeeFleck 3 роки тому

      The cluster doesnt bother me but the placement of the shifter dial is terrible.

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  3 роки тому

      @@AimeeFleck The dial shifter definitely takes a bit of getting used to but one of the nice things about it is that when you park (whether in drive or reverse) you don't need to shift into park. Just turn the car off and it'll automatically move you into park!

    • @AimeeFleck
      @AimeeFleck 3 роки тому +2

      @@CarsWithSteve Our MKZ does that- if you don't put it in park but shut the car off, it puts iteslf in park.
      My husband is a ford tech and he has had to replace a fair amount of the shifter dials because they get stuff spilled on them. I don't mind the dial itself but what engineer thought "lets put this important piece of electronic gear right next to the cup holder"???? LOL
